...I got into PDAs a while ago and after owning a couple of them, as well as test-driving quite a few, I settled down with a Toshiba e750 (see my review). The downside of that machine is that it’s geared up to sync with Microsoft Outlook, and at my new job I have to use Lotus Notes. I then heard from some of my co-workers that Palm machines handle the sync with Notes better, so I decided to try out my friend’s Tungsten T3. This is the second time I’ve ever used a Palm device since I had my m130 (see my review) and I was quite impressed at how far Palm have come in their OS and features in the last couple of years. ...I purchased the tungsten T2 this christmas for my self online and have found it a valuable companione for these reasons: Vale for money When i origonaly puchases the T2 it cost me £200 reduced from £250 witch I belive is good value for money in comparison to what else you could get at the time. ...Although this does not have wi-fi like the T5, and has a much smaller memory chip, it is still an excellent product. The memory problem is easy to get round by placing all large items like audio books and movies on cards instead of on the palm, and the wi-fi lack can supposedly be got round by using bluetooth for the internet, although I have not tried this. You have a choice of using the alpha numeric keyboard or writing directly on the the palm, both with the stylis, and both are very easy to use. This comes in very handy when you are out and about and need to write down something, for instance the details for an insurance claim of somebody who has backed into your car in a carpark. ...£100+!) I checked out the details with SDLhair, who distribute this make. I spoke to a very helpful lady who confirmed that yes, it really was all true, the T3 is the latest and best model. The plates contain Tourmaline crystals which are crushed into the ceramic plates enabling them to produce a higher level of negative ions. Tourmaline is an expensive precious stone which apparently posseses unique ionic and infrared properties giving the hair a shinier and healthier finish! Well that did it for me, so I tracked down the best deal on the internet with Salonlines.co.uk...£155 for a T3 Mark 2, 1" pair of straighteners and....errm....the matching T3 hairdryer..well I had to get the matching hairdryer!.. and it's brilliant too, but this review is about the straighteners. ...If ever a clearer case were ever needed to be made about the dangers of hyping up a mediocre product I'd love to see it. Meanwhile I'm going to do my best here. Having owned this PDA for over a year now I just seem to be collecting disappointments: the awfulness of this product only appears to get worse over time. Where to start? How about the good points? There's no credit due to Palm in saying that PDAs are still a fabulous idea. The ability to sync up data with a computer simply and speedily is truly marvellous. If one loses one's PDA one can simply buy another one and be back where you started without any loss of precious phone numbers, addresses and so on. In this particular PDA the freehand notebook has proved to be a real boon, as has the voice recorder. The T3's search facility is quick, although with a clumsy and fussy... Read review

...When my KODO straighteners were dropped and the ceramic plate cracked, they still worked but where my hair was catching in them was becoming quite painful so I set about to purchase some new straighteners and phoned every local hair salon for advice where I received differant info. from each but ghd and t3 were two of the most frequently mentioned. Both similarily priced at around £105- £120, although I was told that T3 were GHD's replacement but I do not know how true this is. I looked through as many reviews and web sites as I could find comparing the two and eventually spoke to a lovely lady on Salonlines who said both makes were much the same except t3 were newer and because of the ions were quicker and far kinder to your hair and with a 2 year guarantee I went for them and received them the following day! ...I've just got to tell you about T3 Straighteners they are the best straighteners I've ever had. My hair is quite thick and about shoulder length and my GHD's just could not cope with it and damaged my hair quite badly.The ghd's also went bust twice in 6 months and it was a nightmare getting them replaced...their after sales service is terrible. My hairdresser uses T3 Straighteners and hair dryers and she r
