The film features a fair number of stunts, mostly performed in cars, but despite the hype, I thought these were very disappointing. Some of the high-speed sequences obviously relied on speeded up film – haven’t they come up with a way to avoid that yet? – and the rest were all rather mediocre. The climactic sequence involving three cars and a truck is quite good, but only because you want someone to get blasted with a shotgun. The cast is relatively small – let’s face it, the cars are the stars in this film. Dominic Toretto is played by up and coming action actor Vin Diesel. Vin is relatively convincing in the role, though he seems to strain with some of the dialogue and I get the distinct impression that he was better placed running...

Dimplex convection heater with turbo fan

Advantages: Turbo Fan, secure wall mounting, switchable turbo fan
Disadvantages: Mechanical thermostat with turbo fan can be attention grabbing!

...One of the many heaters I tried was this Dimplex free standing/wall mounted convection heater with Fan Boost. I decided to try this after a returning my 4th failed Bionaire BCV3100 heater. The wall mounting arrangement was very affective in securely locking the heater to the wall using 3 simple hooks. The unit is very light weight. There are 2 switches on the side. A power On/Off switch and below that a Hi/Low switch. Below the switches there is a mechanical thermostat to further regulate the heater. On the front of the heater integrated into the turbo fan grill there is a switch to turn the turbo fan on or off. A nice feature is on a hot day you can run the turbo fan without any heat, this provides a cool draft from the heater although it is not as affective as a desktop fan though. Diesel the most friendly grizzly bear

Advantages: Great quality and attention to detail usually only found in very expensive teddy bear brands
Disadvantages: Not suitable for children under three, but really a bear for grown ups!

...Diesel has got to be the most popular Charlie Bear right now and it's easy to see why. No one can resist his soft fur - it's white on the ends and brown at the base so when you stroke him you can see the different colours. He's got the look of a real grizzly bear, not-so-much a cartooney teddy bear, and has really expressive eyes that seem to look right at you! I don't think that Diesel is a bear for children - he's not suitable for under-threes and is a little too big for a child to hold comfortably. Diesel is still my favourite Charlie Bear even though there are so many to choose from. They've all got their own personalities and are so nicely made, especially considering the price. Everyone I have introduced Diesel to falls in love with him and I've given several Charlie Bears as presents, which are always popular!...

Lots of Plus's to Diesel Plus!

...I have an addiction to perfumes. Currently I have around 60 bottles (and about 5 more after Christmas presents). I was bought Diesel Zero Plus Feminine for Christmas last year. The Packaging Diesel Zero Plus Feminine comes with really unique packaging. It kind of has a perspex dome which sits on a base. The base then has two raised plastic sections, which allows the bottle to the wedged in place on the base. When you first open a new bottle, there is a clamp on the spray section at the top to stop the bottle being sprayed accidentally. The bottle itself is a bright red colour, with a silver top. Diesel Zero Plus Feminine is written on the bottle, along with information about the perfume, for example, on my bottle is written eau de toilette 75ml. Flymo Turbo 330. I bought this and I KNEW what I was buying!

Advantages: Compact, light, easy to store, grass box, quiet.
Disadvantages: None I have found

...at the description. Please excuse the brash tone, this is directed at those who complain about features they knew about before buying. It's a turbo compact hover mower, compact means it may well be smaller than the one you used to own so expect that. A 33cm metal blade to me indicates a 33cm wide cut. If I thought 33cm was too small, I'd opt for a larger model. A 30 litre grass box should be ample for a small to medium garden. My garden is quite large but the mower is a perfect compromise when it comes to the amount of grass it holds, too much it gets too heavy so 30 litre is a good size and even better for storing. 1500 watts power is enough power to get through slightly long grass. If your grass is too long, don't blame the mower if it can't cope, blame yourself. 12 metre cable, if your garden is longer, get an extension or a mower...

I didn't really have a particular perfume I liked wearing at the time and it was near my birthday so I asked my mum to buy me some as a present. fiat punto 1.9 turbo diesel

Advantages: turbo diesel - way cheaper than petrol! v comfy, all extras
Disadvantages: its gold!!! problem with power steering motors

...2001 fiat punto - 1.9 turbo diesel my first ever car!!! only ever driven little vans before, so this is like luxury. mine is a top spec model, so air con, sunroof, heated windscreen, great sound system, city mode etc. only costs £40 to fill up, for now anyway! extremely easy to drive, very comfy. have never used the city mode yet as i've never needed to, very nippy car and if you put your foot down its great once the turbo kicks in. good sized boot (i use the car for work) and 5 door. even though its a small car it still feels quite roomy, way better than corsa's etc. interior's a manky grey colour, but its comfy so who cares! only problem we've had is with the power steering. a motor stopped working on it, so that was £300 to fix, but its not a new car. apparently this is a common problem....

Flymo Turbo Compact 330 Vision

Advantages: powerful, efficient, easy to manouvre
Disadvantages: needs all the spacers to cut the grass low enough

...I bought this to replace my old Flymo 300 plus which after 7 years had finally collapsed, largely due to my mowing over a tree branch which broke the impeller. I decided to go for a bigger mower and am very pleased with the Turbo Compact 330 Vision which is Flymo's replacement for the old TC 330 Compact. It floats across the lawn beautifully and picks up a lot more grass than my old one. It doesn't pick up as much as a rotary but if your lawn is average sized or an odd shape a rotary isn't really suited anyway and I can't say that the bits it does leave are either noticeable or a problem. If anything it's too good at hovering and needs all 3 spacers fitting between the blade and impeller to get the lawn as close cropped as I like but having said that it doesn't need to be any closer so is not actually a problem if you're not comparing...
