...This cleaner arrived in a box in three pieces, the instructions were not very clear but the pieces were simple enouch to work out how they should be assembled. On first use the main thing noticed was the noise, this is not a quiet vacuum for when the children are in bed. The turboforce and rotating brushes were brilliant at lifting the pile and picking up the pet hairs, fantastic i thought, but shame abouth the sound. The cable is very long so from one room to the next it is very easy to move without having to relocate the power supply. All was well although with such good pick up the waste container was soon ready for emptying. This can be a messy task as the filter needs taking out and manually tapping until it is clear of debris. ...After having used a well-known brand of hoover for about four years, it gave up the ghost and I was on the hunt for a new one. I needed a hoover that was reasonably priced, and an appliance that would pick up dog hairs, as one of my Springer Spaniels sheds dreadfully! (Surprisingly she is NOT bald!) Advantages: super clean flat

...Turboforce it is. Eventually got round to buyinh a new vacuum cleaner after many months of my old cleaner smelling like it was going to burst into flames. The Vax v-060c is not too heavy coming in at 6.3kg and the 2000 watts really does make a difference (compared to my previous 1100 watts). As i have not purchased a vacuum cleaner before, i was suprised that you had to assemble various bits and pieces yourself. Im not a manual reader, and usually get by using common sense. However after placing the various pieces in whar looked like the obvious pieces, it fell apart! So i'd advise you look carefully at the manual. Manuals are never the easiest things to read. After the first three pictures, i began to get lost. As far as i know there is one screw which is a spare, although it didn't say the cleaner came with a spare screw... Read review

Advantages: Good suction

...First let me tell you that I do not like hoovering (or hovering for that matter, thanks a lot spellchecker). It is probably my least favourite of the household chores. So if something makes it easier/faster/miraculously does it for me, I am happy. We bought the Vax V-060 Turboforce (henceforth referred to as the orange thing) because we thought it might do one of those three (well not the last one). I can't exactly remember what I was doing when the orange thing was chosen, but my husband did most of the choosing and the first I really knew about it was the giant parcel that was passed over the wall from next door (the delivery man couldn't work the gate apparently - never happened before or since).
