...This is a reviewof a package holiday to Phasalis Princess Hotel, Tekrova, nr Kemer, Turkey. Booked through JMC - two weeks all inclusive in Jul / Aug 2002 16 of us in the party (aged 5 to 75) The Phasalis Princess is a modern five star hotel right on the Turkish Med. The setting is fantastic with Mount Tahtali Dagi rising 2,375 metres to the West, the lush gardens of the hotel, with its palm trees and other greenery then splendid azure of the Med to the East. We didn’t expect an Art Déco interior, but Art Deco we got – right down to the cocktail sticks in the Lobby Bar. THE JEWEL OF TURKEY!

Advantages: Cheap and Beautiful
Disadvantages: Hassle off Restaurant promoters so to speak....

Such as Paragliding, Jetskiing and you can rent out a Pedlo. A water park is also found on the beach front. ~+ RESTAURANTS +~ The restaurants in Marmaris are situated near to the beach and each serve an excellent menu. There are restaurants on the promenade, within the streets going from the beach, The main Street Running from Marmaris to Icmeler and within hotels premises. Most restaurants serve English Cuisine, but some sell Turkish, Italian, Chinese and Indian Cuisine aswell. ...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. Turkey ( no, not the one which we eat)

...My hoilday to Turkey Marmrais started as soon as I got of the plane at Dalaman airport, as I got of the plane the heat just hit me, it was HoT. After we got off the plane we had a long 2 hour coach drive to Marmaris though the mountains which where lovely but we did have a 15 minutes fag break thank god. As we got of the coach, I was really tired and all I wanted to do was sleep, but as we entred the hotel my eyes just opened it was lovely the pool was all lit up and you could smell the beach. My room was lovely and tidy and really clean, before I went to bed I had to have a look around my room, so I went out onto the balcony and I could see the sea and all the boats were lit up. Icmeler - Turkey at its best

Advantages: hot weather, great people and wonderful memories

The beach in Icemeler is soft shingle, not sandy, and the sea has a gently sloping entry but most hotels and apartments have lovely clean pools. Food in this part of Turkey caters for all tastes and is of a very high quality. The premises were always spotless and the personal attention we received was second to none. The food may sometimes have take a little while to arrive but the children were always entertained during their wait. The amount of food we received was initially quite daunting, I don't think I ever completely cleared a plate. Childrens' tastes were more than adequately catered for and most often they ate free of charge. The hotel can be found along the seafront, about three miles from the main centre of Blackpool, heading out towards Fleetwood. It is now under the Britannia hotels group and it is easily accessible by tram and bus. We used the trams the whole time instead of me driving all the time. My husband, my two youngest children and myself went last week for a couple of nights, after finding an advert which gave a special price of £35 per person dinner bed and breakfast per night.
