A fabulous and unique turquoise from Urban Decay

...Urban Decay is one of the more funky and fun ranges in my makeup box, full of glitter and sparkle, they're not your everyday makeup items, but perfect for when you want something a bit more glam and sparkly for a night out. These gorgeous little pots of colour were created to satisfy those people who wanted a wider range of alternative colours in their make-up range. Nowadays these colours probably don?t seem quite as wild and wacky as they did when they were launched- with a huge celebrity following including Gwen Stefani, Kylie Minogue and Madonna- but they are still guaranteed to turn heads! Shattered is a fabulous glittery turquoise blue with an irridescent green shimmer and a slight gold shimmery undertone. Review of Urban Decay Shattered Eye Shadow

Turns out that turquoise IS a calming colour!

Advantages: good effects on sensitive teeth in my case, refreshing taste
Disadvantages: not specifically a whitening toothpaste - but doesn't claim to be, either

...- since it's now a week after purchase, the box has vanished from the bathroom, but this outer packaging is basically identical to the branding on the tube itself. Predominantly white with "Sensodyne" printed in clear nearly-navy blue capitals about 1cm tall. At one end is a tiny GlaxoSmithKline logo (is there anything these people don't make?) and at the other "Total Care Gel" is printed in tiny capitals, all in a cooling turquoise that could start an "Is it green or is it blue?" debate. Behind the brand name are four overlapping ovals which remind me of the pattern my Cyclograph (that simpler version of the Spirograph) used to make when I was small. Dyson DC07 Origin vs Turquoise Allergy

I am one of those sad people who actually enjoy hoovering and find it extremely satisfying (providing you have a vacuum cleaner that makes a difference!) I usually hoover for a long time (often well over an hour) and leave the Dyson running for all that time; whereas many hoovers would not stand the test of time and burn out their motors, my DC07 never even blinks. ...Having been to these apartments I feel I must write and share my findings. Well what a fantastic place this is. Having been to marmaris a few times this has to be one of the best places I have stayed in. The complex was built back in 1998 so is relitivly new and consists of 84 apartments, 11 studios and 3 hotel rooms. Location The Club Turquoise is situated 1.5 km from Marmaris centre and the old bazaar, 860m from the beach(approx 15 minute walk) 1km from the Friday market, 2km from Bar Street, 600m from pharmacy and 750m from the local hospital. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. All in all it is quite central for everything although not right in the centre so you do have some peace of a night. Little pot, Big colour!

...is generous and it comes with a small single ended applicator. The inside lid of the pot contains a handy little mirror and a little leaflet with the ingredients and instuctions on it. The product can be applied dry using the applicator, a brush or even fingertips depending on what effect you want to achieve. The particular shade I bought was turquoise and using it dry gives a pastel shade. It isn't a powdery eyeshadow but is very easy to apply and you don't seem to need a lot. It lasts well throughout the day too. The best thing, I think, about this eyeshadow is that it can be applied wet and the colour is very vibrant when you use it this way.
