...I bought this TV after looking at many TVs,. I would recommend this TV for anyone who wants to get the best out of DVD's. The most shocking feature of this TV is that the screen is perfectly flat and has an amazingly vivid and colourful picture. The 100Hz processing dose not cause any artifacts or motion blur. It also has excellent sound but I would still recommend running it through a Hifi. A usfull feature of this TV is that it caches the pages on teletext so you can step through them. The TV comes with a stand with tinted glass windows that intergrates with the TV seamlessly. Panasonic‘s Tau TV' are similar but I prefer the Sony.... Read review

...This is an excellent tv back when i had a normal tv bulky and hard access and none portable and the xbox 360 games and much better viewing on HD tvs so i decided to purchase a HD tv now looking at the offers on i found the best deal with philips! An excellent buy if u want to get update to date with HD dvd viewing and HD games and HD sound! Really its up to you but if you fancy a change and are looking for an easy to view use and programme HD tv then this is the one for you! Also if you would like an easy computer access then u are able to hook up a pc to your HD tv with USB or HDMI.... Read review

...to your favourite pages. Sooo Simple to use, as soon as it is plugged in the TV automatically tunes itself into the the TV channels organises and labels them accordingly. All thats left for you to do is watch. The Remote control is not as nice as the TV finished in silver it does not look as classy as the TV itself but is is robust. ( A nicer remote came with my Sony DVD/Video player which also supports my Sony TV ). The TV comes with a load of documentation on how to use it and has the Sony 1 year manufacturers warranty. This TV is made to a very high standard and the price reflects that ( I paid £279 )a very worthy buy.... Read review

...I was looking to upgrade my tv and saw this Toshiba 32zp48 and instantly loved the look of it. the TV comes with an in built dolby digital decoder with both co-axial and optical connections. 4 external speakers add to the effects of and film / program encoded with DD. the TV has 3 scart sockets in total two of which are RGB the TV is not too big as the side speakers have been placed at the bottom of the tv instead of on the side of the screen this give it a more sleek design and does not look to big in a small room. The set up itself was a doddle and from the box arriving to watching only took me 35 minutes inc putting up the stand. you get no dot crawl on the picture and the TV comes with 2 RGB scart inputs, which was the main reason for buying the Toshiba in the first place, so my Sky box and DVD player could both be seen in RGB... ...Im not shure if it was this exact model but i recently bought a thompson tv with built in DVD for only £650!!! It was excellent value. The tv automatically tunes its self and has a built in tv guide!!! The picture quality is excellent and the surround sound is supurb!!! The sound and picture can be customised to the program that you are watching. So if you are watching a film you can put the sound on surround, and sometimes it is hard to hear the speach above music or other background noise so you can switch it to speach and the speach is amplified!!! All this at the touch of a button!!! Also the dvd features are excellent. Also if you hook a video player up to the system or a sound (stereo) system the remote provided with the tv/dvd can be used to control with these too!!!... Read review

..., my parents ordered a 30" Sony LCD TV, which had a significantly inferior picture to the JVC. To further improve the picture, it is best to get a digital tuner (I got a PVR; a digital box with a hard drive). The TV can display high definition in 1080i. Unfortunately, with the exception of Sky, the only way to get high definition pictures is by the Xbox 360 (only gaming) or by a high definition DVD player. The TV looks stylish and the remote is of a good quality and is easy to use. You can also use the remote to play JVC video and DVD players. You can mount the TV on the wall (you will need to buy the bracket separately) or use the stand it comes on. The biggest weakness in the TV is the sound quality. Two 3 watt speakers are very poor in any circumstance when listening to music of any kind. Having said that a lot of manufacturers... Read review

.... Picture quality is OK (50hz) , I spend very little time in front of my JVC but the picture suits me fine. Its crisp and clear and just as good as TVs probably another £500 more expensive, however when you start spending a little more on TV's the JVC does start to look a little inferior. The remote control to this TV is easy to use and compliments the ease of use of the TV. Sound quality is great through the speakers of the TV but better through surround sound. Setting up the TV is a piece of cake, I had my DVD and digital tuner linked up in 5 minutes flat, there are three scart leads so there is room for plenty of expansion. Located in the side of the TV are further speaker sockets and a ear phone socket, this means in theory that you can link up another two speakers plus your surround system!! Output to earphones is really great, seriously... Read review

Advantages: Very cheap for a 32inch HD Ready TV with a HDMI Port

...For the price of this TV, it is not that bad, you cant go wrong for £450, the original was £400, so this TV is very cheap and also 32inches. Also the TV is wall mountable and the brackets are supplied, wall mounting the unit was very easy and anyone can do it, if you follow the instructions.Looks very good and quite attractive, may seem plastic looking but it s not bad. Really good to look at when its off, and may make a few neighbours jealous. After viewing a DVD on the TV i was very impressed by it, quality looked great and same with the sound. Overall the TV is worth it, simply for the price, although it maybe useful hanging on and going for a more reputable brand such as: Toshiba or Panasonic.... Read review

...What a bargain! Some 30% cheaper than similar 36 inch flat screejn televisions and considerably better. I saw the TV working alongside the Sony and Panasonic 36 inch rivals and for picture quality, extras and price it demolishes the opposition and wins hands down. From a built in DTS decoder to split screen text and TV picture, the options list grows. Alter the picture size, the TV even comes with 6 speakers including a Subwoofer and a centre channel.
