...I bought the Linksys Wireless-B Media Adapter to allow me to play digital music and pictures stored on my computer to my TV/Stereo in the living room, without running cables through the house. The WMA11B box contains a setup CD; an AC adapter; Ethernet, RCA, and S-Video cables, and a remote control (including batteries), plus, of course, the WMA11B itself, whose vertical profile and compact size (50mm wide x 152mm deep x 177mm tall) make it easy to tuck into a small space. A set of LEDs on its front show power, network connectivity and activity. The WMA11B can connect to your network either by 802.11b WiFi - 11mbps rather the 54mbps .11g standard - or by standard 10/100 ethernet cabling. ...This product promised something wonderful - skin, covered in foundation, that looked not much different to your own in colour. I assumed, therefore, that the improvement it would make to my skin, would be to even it out and make it flawless, without a thick cake base of orange which I hope most of us try to avoid. I was wrong. Embarking on a trip to Boots, as my normal choice: Max Factor "Lasting Performance" foundation, was nearing the end of its life, I was struck by a display of this new foundation. Before this I had seen the television advertisements with a wonderful model with wonderful glowing, flawless naked-looking skin. ...-glare super twisted nematic high quality passive screen. The TV incorporates UHF Channels 14-69; VHF Channels 2-13 and these can be picked up very clearly and easily indeed. In the package you don’t get an AC adapter this is optional although if your at home why would you need it, you would want to watch your bigger TV. And these TV’s are handy as my nephew found out to our cost he is only nine and snuck the TV up to bed with him and spent al night watching TV, bring on new batteries and nightmares for the little devil, He is band now from using it. As well as the AC adapter you get earphones and, A/V & Ext Antenna Input Jacks so say you have a caravan with an Arial you can use that, or the A/V jacks let you plug in a video, but why you would want to do this is beyond me. ...A literary review has already observed " Sheer joy not only wildly funny but wickedly observed" and this sums up the pleasure to be found from this DVD. A TV adaptation by Channel 4 this production does justice to the book and really brings the characters to life. At 194 minutes in length the biggest problem will be deciding when to pause for refreshment and comfort breaks. Ian Richardson sublimely portrays the Master of a fictitious Cambridge college with a glorious sneer at 'traditionalists' who would introduce such horrors as women students and canteens into a revered male bastion of learning....... The story unfolds with the unfortunate student 'Zipser' caught up in his fantasies and academic endeavours (which conjure up links for me from the film 'The Graduate') whilst the scurrillous and devious head porter (David Jason... ...I currently have 3 of these adapters installed at my home connecting 3 PC's wirelessly to a BT Voyager2500V Router. I purchased the first one after suffering months of problems with an intermittent broadband connection using an extension cable. The adapter comes well packaged in a far larger box than is necessary (minus points for environmental responsibility) and is supplied complete with software drivers, software to manage the wireless network, a desktop stand for the adapter and an instruction sheet. 1st impressions were that the build quality is adequate although with the adapter being very light the stand could definitely have done with being heavier. .... Bush also offer cover for the whole lifetime of the TV, once the 3 years expire, on an annual basis. The setup: The stand is easily removed and once it was mounted, setup was easy. I connected an indoor aerial to the tv and the tuning function found all 5 channels without any problems. The downside to the TV is that it only has 1 Scart socket, but this is easily overcome by buying a scart splitter or adapter with several sockets, if you need to connect other devices. It also has one set of RCA connectors which you can use to connect your DVD player, signal transmitter, VCR or games consoles etc. I use it with a DVD player and signal transmitter from my sky box, so the 2 connections are enough for me.
