HENSVIK changing table/cabinet - Great idea!

Advantages: Double use as a cabinet and baby changing table, inexpensive, easy to assemble
Disadvantages: Flaking paint on the changing table after a while

...I bought the Hensvik changing table/cabinet designed by Carina Bengs a couple of years ago from IKEA for £85. I was expecting my second baby and loved the idea of the double use in this piece of furniture. First, it can be used as a changing table for your baby and when one is no longer required, the changing shelf can be removed and a second book shelf can be easily fitted into a slot above and there you go: you have a lovely looking book cabinet. The assembly was fairly simple. The instructions came in true IKEA style with pictures but the assembly was easily manageable with those. The Allen key and all screws were included, so you can unwrap, assemble and use. Advantages: One of those "greatest film ever" regulars, and with good reason.
Disadvantages: None.

Storage for your your entertainment fetishes

...After getting a few problems with our sky box turning off for no reason, it was suggested by one of Sky?s technical advisors that it may have been caused by the box over heating due it being positioned on the top of our video recorder. As a temporary measure, we ended out putting our video recorder and Sky box, on the basic TV/Video stand that we had, so that they were no where near each other, with out TV positioned on our table that formed part of a highchair. All seemed to be fine for a while, until we noticed that the table had become somewhat wobbly, so there was a strong possibility of it collapsing at any moment, to the cost of a fairly new TV. It was simply no good; we really did need to buy something a lot stronger and much more suitable that would accommodate for our increasing electrical gadgets, before the whole lot came...

...I still live with my parents and this is the TV magazine that they buy. I don't see the point in buying another TV magazine just for me. I read this magazine more than I actually watch the television. Due to exams, drama, sign language and ciao I don't watch very much television. However, every now and then I do sit down and watch an episode of Eastenders or Coronation Street, with my mam. I don't need to watch every episode to know what is going on. Apart from the fact that usually nothing much is happening, I can read the TV quick to catch up. TV Quick come out weekly and costs 70p. We get it delivered from our local newsagents with our newspaper. We usually get it on the Tuesday, before the TV listings in the magazine starts. My TV Guide Of Choice.

...First of all I will state that there are no plot spoilers included in this review although there may be mention of new series starting in the week that I am reviewing this magazine for. I promise not to give anything away though and if I do you have my permission to slap my bottom. Hang on though I may enjoy that!!! Back to the review. I don't really buy many newspapers - it's not that I don't keep up to date with the news - I just prefer to watch it on TV or look online to find out what is going on in the world. I also pop in to see my mum every day as her house is close to the school where my daughter's attend and it beats trying to find a space outside the gates, as well as getting the chance for a cuppa and a gossip.
