Advantages: funny, great characters

...Game On was a BBC sitcom which came out in the mid-nineties and lasted for three series. It was an interesting study into the whole concept of flatsharing among three people in London who basically had nothing in common but the fact they all grew up in Herne Bay. Now, it may no longer be on telly, but that's no excuse, because now all three series are available on dvd! I think what makes the programme work is the fact that the three main characters are very extreme. You have Mandy (samantha Janus) the beaufiul blonde girl who wants to be taken seriously but is just taken for a bimbo all the time, Martin (matthew Cottle)the timid bank clerk who is still a virgin and - the funniest - Matthew (originally Ben Chaplin who is now a Hollywood star, laterally Neil Stuke) the agorophobic macho man!!! The TV has component HD and HDMI inputs that make it a flexible choice. I have never used the HDMI; however I have an Xbox 360 connected to the component HD inputs. The picture quality is awesome. Anyone who has a surround sound system connected to a DVD player, who watches a DVD and then switches back to normal stereo sound from their TV speakers know how bad the sound is by comparison. This TV is exactly the same, you can watch normal TV and you think the picture quality is great, then you watch a HD DVD, Sky or play the X Box 360 and then when you go back to normal TV you notice the difference.
