...July has been Mega-drop month with items going for just £1.00. Price-Drop.tv's mega-drop promotion has meant that I have watched rather more of this channel than is probably good for me. I have obtained several bargains but my experience of their customer service has not been very good. Mega-drop month initially started in June when the channel celebrated their first birthday with a mega-drop weekend. This must have been a success as the following weekend was also made a mega-drop weekend. If memory serves me correctly the following weekend was also made a mega-drop weekend which was converted to the start of mega-drop month. Should there be a further mega-drop event then perhaps some of the following may be helpful in getting you a bargain. I have managed to obtain several items for just £1.00. So far I have won... ...I first encountered Price Drop TV when we purchased our Freeview box early last year. Flicking through the channels, I noticed there were a couple of Shopping channels, namely QVC, Bid Up TV and price Drop TV. I didn't really take much notice of them - the idea of sitting there with the presenters trying to sell some obscure object really didn't appeal to me. However, I received a phone call one day from my mum who excitedly told me she had managed to buy my brother a brand new mountain bike for just £1. At first I thought she was going a bit mad - after all, what company can afford to sell bikes at such a ridiculously low price? Price Drop TV - that's who! Who are Price Drop? ...Price-drop TV is addictive. Just like it's sister channel, bid TV, price-drop TV features entertaining presenters who would do almost anything to get you to buy their products. As I type this, the channel is selling a U.S. Marshall figurine. At the moment, the price for it is £80. When I finish the review, the price for the figurine will have been slashed. Straight away, PRICE PLUNGE!! And the price plummets to £16!! These savings (albeit on things you don't need) happen 17 hours a day, (8am - 1am next day) 365 days a year. All live. Yes, there are presenters who come into the studios (which are only 5 mins away from my house!) on Christmas Day. And there are people who buy from them on Christmas day! ...I have just ordered a double bed set in satin "which sounds posh i now but anything to keep the wife happy" i payed just £13.00 for and i am over the moon.I ordered them on a thursday and got them on saturday.The quality of the bed set is fantastic you would not get a better quality on the high street for twice the price.There are however two draw backs but dont let these put you of firstly the postage is a bit high but on the other hand if you buy something big or heavy the postage becomes cheap.It stays at the same price ,secondly the phone call will cost you £1.50 per call which can add up if you buy a few things over the weeks .But having said that the bargins you get can make it all worth it.I am more than pleased with the item i got and the price it all added up to.Try it but keep an eye on your phone bill. ...In the last month or so id got to hear about Price-drop.tv . How addicting can this channel get? Well if you’re addicted to Ebay then don’t watch this channel. You have been warned. The only reason I had to go have a look at this shopping shop was because a friend told me that they were selling a bike. The guide price was £299 and it MEGA dropped to a £1. How fantastic is that. Well I was hooked before id even looked at this home shopping channel. In the first hour id bought a 5 piece pan set, with a 3 tier steamer for £28, the guide price was £100. Since then ive come to buy a few other items. They sell all kinds of things like Watches, toys for the kids, bikes, blokes tools, Jewellery, household items, clothes, music CD’s, DVD’s plus many more. Price Drop.Tv is a home shopping channel availible to Cable, Sattellite and digital views through their set top boxes. Price Drop.Tv is renowned for offering the best products at the cheapest price anywhere within the UK. Let me take you back to last week where i brought a new Binatone Easytouch Telephone which is Cordless along with a Binatone caller display unit. This is a brilliant telephone, the best one for those of you on the move. This week i also brought a Soul Legends 12 Cd Box set for just 21.00 pounds, that how cheap it really is to drop in. ...We bought this tv for using the ps3 on and altho it only goes up to 1080i it's excellent, the difference is just awesome. The first thing you notice about the 32" waltham hd tft tv is how astetically pleasing it is i mean you look at some of the lower priced tv's and they look cheap but this tv looks so nice, there are a few parts where joins meet that are slightly shabby but apart from that the look is perfect. when you get to the watching tv on it i was a little dissapointed that it didn't hav a HD tuner but you get used to it after a while on a 32" it's bearable but if you're going to go any bigger make sure you have a HD tuner. that last thing to note with the waltham is the inputs altho it does have a HDMI input there is only 1 and the pc input is VGA it would've been nice to have DVI or another HDMI input to connect the pc into.... ...When i came across price-drop.tv it immediatley caught my eye as i saw the price of a few products drop to under £40 such as diamond watches, jewllery etc which had a starting price of up to £500 or more. I thought there had to be a catch but there wasnt. the only downside was that the postage was £7.99 GBP but when i saw the amount of savings that had already came off the product the postage meant nothing as you were still getting a great beargin. I bought a diamond Ingersol watch about 1 month back and got it for £48, what a bargin!, but just incase the starting price they had the watch at (£550) was made up i went down to the jewellers and got it valued and surely they told me it was worth between £450 to £500. Ok a bit less than what price-drop had it at but even so that meant i had made a profit at least £400. ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC... Read review
