The great twin
Review of Maclaren Twin Traveller by  Deetzyb

Advantages: Very manouverable and great value for money
Disadvantages: None

...Having just had a baby to add to my ever growing family, I needed a twin buggy for my baby and my two year old. I spent my entire pregnancy looking on the internet and trailing round shops checking out every twin buggy available. As I'm so small, the front and back style was automatically ruled out which left me with the side by side option. I also had a few requirements which my would be twin buggy had to fulfill so with each requirement more and more twin buggies got ruled out. Since I don't drive, I also had to have something which I could get around with easily and on and off buses with. I also needed it to fit through doorways in my home easily as I stay in a flat. After months of searching I found the ideal twin buggy. The maclaren twin traveller replaces the maclaren rally twin which I got from Kiddicare... Read review

My twins story
Review of Member advice on having twins by  Maxlarndison

Advantages: Double the fun and great play mates
Disadvantages: Double the work

...or wrong way in doing things, what was right for me may not suit you so it is trail and error; you just have to find what suits you and what suits your babies. I did find a steam steriliser the best to use its so easy and quick, and I was quite lucky a friend of mine had twin boys about 1 year earlier so brought a lot of stuff from her, it saved me loads of money. They both had there own cot, and at about 11 months old they slept through the night (BLISS). I must admit I brought o normal double buggy but I found it very hard to push especially when they started getting older, so I went and got a new 3 wheeler buggy, wow what a difference, it was so easy to move about, easy to fold away the only down fold was it was big and bulky but when it was up you could push it with one hand with ease, and I would recommend one to anyone. The next... Read review

buggy that will last forever ....xxx
Review of Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle Buggy Duo by  123abbyd

Advantages: very lightweight ,easy to fold , smooth on and off road
Disadvantages: none

...when i found out i was expecting TWINS it was a shock, i already have two children one of which was only two years old .one of the hardest things which i thought would be very very easy was to go out and buy a double buggy (HOW WRONG WAS I ) I really didnt expect there to be so much choice of buggies . when i came across the mountain buggy it stood out from the rest , it looked very stylish and very comfortable , The frame is made of aluminum and is very light for a double buggy, the recline possition can be set wherever suits you and your baby from upright to practically horizontal, the buggy has a adjustable handle to suit the parent height and includes a very strong rain cover , the wheels can also be fixed but having them on swivel makes shopping alot easier. i ve had mine 4 years now and its still going strong so well worth the 600... double buggy ticks all the boxes
Review of Cosatto You 2 Twin Stroller by  emma29879

Advantages: suitable from birth, lots of features
Disadvantages: not the lightest

...buggies and with the cosy toes in it looked very comfortable. it also comes with two head rests so would be suitable for newborn twins other features include a good sized basket under each seat, removable hoods which can be worked independently of each other and lockable front wheels. what is not very clear from the photo is that there are actually three handles to push with and i find that the middle handle is very handy for hanging shopping bags on without increasing the width of the buggy. this stroller comes in three colour variations, the one in the photo which says BRO in blue and SIS in pink, it also comes in a kind of plum colour which reads sugar & spice and then it comes in the colour i have which is navy blue and says "you & Me" on one side and "me & you" on the other. when i purchased this it came with two cosy toes... A not so good Twin Buy
Review of Maclaren Twin Traveller by  twinsplusone

Advantages: Easy to get around
Disadvantages: Ours broke :o(

...We bought a Maclaren twin Traveller early last year for a holiday to Blackpool knowing we would also use it for our holiday to Majorca during the summer of 2004. It's a nice sold sturdy stroller weighing approx 12kg which I felt was a little heavy for an umbrella fold buggy BUT like I say it was solid and sturdy so that was just a small gripe. It does have a carry handle which was a help when having to hump it about. Because of the age of our twins (2 years at the time) we had no use for the headhuggers or footmuffs that came with this mdoel but thought these were a very good idea and would make all the difference for newborn twins. We found it easy enough to push and steer and the twins were comfortable in it and seemed to enjoy being in it which is half the battle! The hoods are individually operated, each with a small... I LOVE THIS BUGGY
Review of Phil & Teds E3 Sports Double Buggy by  titchy21

Advantages: fits through standard doorways, easy to push, comfortable, versatile, fits in well with family life
Disadvantages: pnematic tyres means bit of TLC every now and again.

...I LOVE THIS PUSHCHAIR, i have four kids under four, the first two are 4 and 3 and i have a 18 months old set of twins, mad yes i admit it. However i have owned nearly all the buggys on the market, single, double and even treble!! This really is the creme d la creme. It fit though standard doorways, folds down small and really takes some of the stress out of shopping with young kids!! It is flexible and therefore it fits into family life so easily. Single double, for toddlers or 1 toddler and 1 young baby. It is comfortable to push, light, and its adjustable handle makes life really easy. The sport had the added extra of the back seat also laying back slighty too. My husband is glad ive finally had a buggy for over three months and not fancied a new one.... Read review

The best tandem (not twin) buggy around!!!
Review of Phil & Teds Explorer 3 by  jill29378

Advantages: Two children born close together? single buggy with seperate double attachment, perfect!
Disadvantages: Didn't find it when 1st child was born! small parceltray raincover doesn't always work

...PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Phil and Teds Explorer is much like any other three wheeled buggy you've seen or tried but it can be a double buggy too. It's best explained on the website, philandteds.com, but basically the main seat can seat a child from newborn to five years and the second seat, six months to five years. The main seat lies flat for the newborn whilst the second seat zips on the front for the older child, then when baby is six months or wants to sit up, the second seat is put onto a frame and attached behind the now upright main seat. There are a few rules, the heavier child must always be in the front and put in first, this avoids the buggy tipping backwards and you cant use the buggy with just the smaller baby in the back for the same reason. I've found this can be overcome by putting the changing bag (which often... Read review

A Real Buggy Buddy
Review of Kiddy Buggy Board by  demonwriter

Advantages: Such a good idea, simple, easy to transport.
Disadvantages: Less secure than strapping toddlers into a buggy

...The Buggy Board truly is one of those items you wish you'd invented yourself. It's a superb idea which is continually being improved; I was told by the owner of the shop in which I bought it that it has recently been redesigned to fit onto almost any buggy. That might explain the price... So what exactly is the Buggy Board? It's an ingenious piece of engineering that allows you to fix a skateboard-type platform onto the back of a buggy or pram, so that an older child can ride on the back while you push a baby in the actual buggy. It has two wheels which gave a surprisingly smooth ride: I didn't expect the buggy to be easy to use with the board attached, but it corners and reverses just the same as normal. I even managed to drag it across the beach! The board has a wheel at each end, right and left, and two arms that can be adjusted so... Read review

Beep Beep, Baby in a buggy coming Through
Review of ELC Light and Sound Buggy Driver by  me_and_my_teddybear

Advantages: Helps your child learn new skills
Disadvantages: none found as of yet

...Whether your indoors, on the bus, walking to the shop or just taking a ride in the car, we all know that your child is going to get bored at some point, its shopping, why wouldn't they. Kids want to run around, shout and scream, arch their backs when you try to calm them down and get them to sit back in their buggy's, We've all seen mum's at some point trying to do it. I’ve been there myself, I'm guessing most of you have too. What I’d tried ************** Ok, what didn't I try? lol, No, I had tried everything to get Mitchell my oldest to get back in his buggy without screaming, from his favourite rattle to larger toys, pram toys that attach to the buggy with toys on, his juice, crisps, his dummy, (that soon got launched) it just wasn't going to happen so I ended up carrying him. An Idea ******** We were... Read review

The coolest buggy about town!
Review of Micralite Buggy by  Twigster

Advantages: One handed fold, lightweight, stands upright alone when folded, looks fab!
Disadvantages: Harder to fold when footmuff lining is in situ.

...I originally bought a Maclaren Quest pushchair for my son and loved it in the beginning. Until one day, I was in a cafe with my partner and noticed that three other Mums sitting within 10 feet of us had exactly the same pushchair! I looked at my partner and he looked at me and we both said 'It's got to go!' I don't mind other people having the same pushchair as me but not that many! I like to be slightly different. Immediately we started our mission to find the perfect buggy. We were in John Lewis when we finally spotted it. There it was - a 'Micralite'. At first glance it looked quite an odd shape and I thought 'don't Micralite make aeroplanes?' I stared at the strange looking buggy, and the longer I stared at it the more I liked it. I now love it and wouldn't part with it! The Micralite is quite difficult to describe but I... Read review
