Review of Twins (DVD)

In the night garden ninky nonk train set

Advantages: strong, versatile, compact, nice bright colours, fun to play with
Disadvantages: none so far

...I decided to buy the in the night garden ninky nonk train set from Amazon as my young daughter is a big fan of in the night garden and whenever it comes on TV she gets really excited. So as my daughter already had some of the other characters from the show I wanted her to have the whole set and since buying it the train set the ninky nonk train set has become one of her favourite toys to play with on a daily basis. The train set can come apart and be attached on many different ways and my daughter enjoys looking at the nice bright colours and putting some of the other in the night garden characters onto the train set even though it keeps falling of now and again it keeps her busy and sometimes I hear her in fits of giggles. The train set is very cute and versatile and its great as children such as mine can have hours of fun with it...

Review of Hasbro In the Night Garden Ninky Nonk Train Set

A perfect set of twins!

Advantages: Two shades in one compact, good quality shadow.
Disadvantages: The price

...? ~ When you first get the eyeshadow there is a 'V' symbol imprinted which does disappear once the shadow is used. It can be applied with your finger which is my preferred method of application but perhaps the most accurate method is with an eyebrush so that you can get right in to the corners of your eye. The shadow is crease resistant, whereas other shadows I have used do sometimes show up fine lines you may have and fall in to the crevices thus making them even more noticeable which isn't a great look!! What I like about it most is that it doesn't crumble. So many shadows I have used in the past leave a dust layer on my lashes which is a nuisance, not so with Virgin Vie twin eyeshadow. Advantages: The most original, mind-blowing TV series of all time

Advantages: BItstream Record, Easy to use, moves TV schedules around, easy to fit bigger HDD
Disadvantages: Small Hard Disk as standard, Slightly dodgy software

...was the first Freeview PVR and in a lot of ways still the best to use. Software The Twin has had a number of updates with various results, October 2003 was rock solid but May 2004 was a disaster. The current software is much better and returns the Twin to Oct 03 reliabilty The 7 day EPG has next day/previous day and zoom in and out (using volume keys). Setting a timer event from the EPG is simplicity itself - highlight the programme and press the record button - then press OK to confirm. There are 3 other Digital Terrestrial PVRs available but none of them has every feature the Twin has - eg Humax is single tuner and will not let you record one programme and watch a different one. One of the other PVRs does not allow watching of a currently being recorded programme. Currently it is just under £200 if you can find...

....In 1995 I lost a baby girl called Lauren she was still born which was a terrible time for me and think about her every day, but in the year 2000 I found out I was pregnant again, in the very early days of pregnancy I was very sick unlike my other pregnancies both of which where girls so I thought maybe I was having a boy. I remember one day myself and my ex-husband as he is now were out shopping and we saw a dad pushing his twins round the shop, I turned to my husband jokingly and said " wouldn't it be funny if it were twins" famous last words. I did actually go and see my doctor because there wasn't a day go by that I didn't feel sick, his reply was well maybe you are having twins as it is more common to have sickness with multiple births, I just shrugged it off and just put it down to plain old morning sickness. The challenge set by the Twins

Advantages: The excitement, sense of adventure, adrenaline rush.
Disadvantages: You could actually be caught!

...Many of you would have read the opinions written by Cheekychicken and Purebitch (The Twins) regarding things of an explicit nature. Well I decided that I would try and rise to the challenge and give it a go myself. So: IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED THEN PLEASE DO NOT READ AS THIS OP MAY BE CLASSED AS EXPLICIT. I am only 23 but I certainly had fun remembering stories to write in this opinion. The only problem I had was trying to limit it to only 5!! (That was a joke, by the way!) I don’t condone one night stands but when I was an unruly teenager (18) I, like a few other people may have had one or two (‘Safely’ of course). ...You should know what to expect when the first song is six and half minutes of beauty called "Lazy Calm". Arguably the most appropriately titled song ever, "Lazy Calm" begins with gentle washes of synth and guitar before being joined by a hazy distant saxophone. This goes on for a few minutes before a melody appears, underpinned by some reluctant beats as Elizabeth Fraser sings in that otherworldly voice of hers. For possibly the first time on a Cocteau Twins album it sounds like the words are in English, but you are still hard pressed to discern their meaning. But that doesn't matter. Advantages: Great charachters.
Disadvantages: Bit off the wall for some people.

...Twin town is a movie that has both benefitted and detracted from by the comparisons with cult hit Trainspotting. While the tag obviously gave it some publicity and piqued many people's interest, it also left many with the wrong impression of what to espect when they see the film, leading to some dissapointment. The only similarities really are that both deal in graphic terms with the more down-trodden and morally-different elements of society and that both were produced in low-budget style with a high emphasis on charachter development over fancy film techniques. They weren't Twins & No-one was called Thompson

...Looking on Ciao I was rather surprised to find no-one had done a review of these amazing 80's artists so as an 80's child and a very big fan indeed I felt it was my duty to write a review so here it comes. Formed originally in 1977 with a massive 11 members the Thompson Twins (who of course took their name from the bumbling detectives out of artist Herge's Tintin comics) released 3 albums before really breaking big in both the UK & the USA. Into The Gap was their 4th release but the 1st with the "classic" 3 person line-up of Tom Bailey, Alannah Currie and Joe Leeway. Bailey wrote words and music, Leeway provided percussion (and some backing vocals) and Currie played xylophone and provided backing vocals.
