My Best Ever Twin Buy?
Review of Nipper Double Stroller by Out 'N' About by
clairebax
Advantages: COMPACT & LIGHTWEIGHT
Disadvantages: Haven't come across any as yet!
...We decided to buy a twin 3 wheeler for our 20 month old twins, after struggling on the beach and local farm centre.
I had a HUGE list of possibilities and spent a good 2 weeks researching each and every one before finally narrowing it down to 3 models, one of which was the Nipper Double.
The Nipper Double is 77cm wide and therefore narrow enough to get thru' most shop doorways, I can also get it onto my local low floor bus into town which I wasn't able to do with my previous model.
It's a dream to push and steer which surprised me is the front wheel is static and I thought this would make it difficult to manouvre but it's so lightweight it's a doddle to get around with.
I love the large sun canopy which has a little peek hole, the seats are multi positional and lie completely flat for a new baby, the stroller comes complete...

A not so good Twin Buy
Review of Maclaren Twin Traveller by
twinsplusone
Advantages: Easy to get around
Disadvantages: Ours broke :o(
...We bought a Maclaren twin Traveller early last year for a holiday to Blackpool knowing we would also use it for our holiday to Majorca during the summer of 2004.
It's a nice sold sturdy stroller weighing approx 12kg which I felt was a little heavy for an umbrella fold buggy BUT like I say it was solid and sturdy so that was just a small gripe. It does have a carry handle which was a help when having to hump it about.
Because of the age of our twins (2 years at the time) we had no use for the headhuggers or footmuffs that came with this mdoel but thought these were a very good idea and would make all the difference for newborn twins.
We found it easy enough to push and steer and the twins were comfortable in it and seemed to enjoy being in it which is half the battle!
The hoods are individually operated, each with a small...

double buggy ticks all the boxes
Review of Cosatto You 2 Twin Stroller by
emma29879
Advantages: suitable from birth, lots of features
Disadvantages: not the lightest
...buggies and with the cosy toes in it looked very comfortable. it also comes with two head rests so would be suitable for newborn twins
other features include a good sized basket under each seat, removable hoods which can be worked independently of each other and lockable front wheels.
what is not very clear from the photo is that there are actually three handles to push with and i find that the middle handle is very handy for hanging shopping bags on without increasing the width of the buggy.
this stroller comes in three colour variations, the one in the photo which says BRO in blue and SIS in pink, it also comes in a kind of plum colour which reads sugar & spice and then it comes in the colour i have which is navy blue and says "you & Me" on one side and "me & you" on the other.
when i purchased this it came with two cosy toes...

London Stroller by Chicco
Review of Chicco London Stroller by
EmmB
Advantages: Lightweight, compact, easy to fold
Disadvantages: Fiddly harness, difficult to clean
...I wanted an umbrella-fold stroller in addition to my 'big' pushchair and after some cursory research on the internet this one seemed to fit the bill. What I like about it is the fact that it is light-weight and easy to manouvre. The front wheels swivel for easy steering, but you can also lock the wheels which can be useful on uneven ground. My husband is 6'7" and finds that he can push the stroller fine, so despite the fact that the handles aren't adjustable, I would say that most people will be able to push it comfortably.
The stroller looks smart - the hood and cosy toes look nice and sporty. There is an adjustable footrest which is obviously useful as your child grows. I believe that the child sits a little higher off the ground which is a benefit.
The rain hood is very easy to fit - attaches with velcro to the handles...

Cheap as chips basic stroller -excellent value
Review of Early Learning Centre Little Lucy My First Stroller by
kellydholden
Advantages: Light and easy to steer
Disadvantages: Cover comes off too easily.
...My daughter absolutely loves this stroller it's the best £6 i have ever spent. She hangs her bags on it. She puts baby in it and runs around the garden. She goes up and down my hall with it. It's the first thing she looks for when she comes down in the morning. She says "Pram Yes Pram". She has had it for a whole year and she still loves it. It's a very basic pram but then i don't mind if she takes it to the park and walks through puddles or bashes into things as it was so cheap. It is very easy for her to steer and it's just the right height for her. Some prams are to high for her to hold or they are so big and bulky that she has problems steering them around the corner. This is perfect, very light and easy for her to push.
It is a pink very basic stroller for children to put their babies in. It has straps so that dolly does not fall...

A typical family with a stroller
Review of Playmobil Familty with Stroller by
mumsymary
Advantages: enables a child to play out real life senarios
Disadvantages: none really
...Let's play happy families.
Come on play with me and one of my grandchildren's toys. It's the playmobil family with a stroller.
The playmobil world is massive houses, castles, farms, hospitals and fantasy worlds.
Playmobil is a company begun in 1876, making locks and other metal work by Andreas Brandstätter a locksmith. In 1958 in 1958 the hula hoop craze gripped the world, and Horst Brandstätter made hula hoops for this company after this success began making other plastic toys.
Playmobil toys made of colourful plastic , they are very good strong and long lasting there is plenty of play value in their toys. Children love to re-enact their lives and make up pretend stories for their playmobil people and their equipment.
Playmobile is easy to clean and is often the choice for children's play centres and schools.

Trendy Stroller about Town
Review of Teutonia Y2K/2 Stroller by
studenteternal
Advantages: Great Suspension
Disadvantages: Flat Tyres
...The Y2k/2 Stroller from Teutonia comes in at over £400 and had I not won it in a baby magazine competition I don't think my budget would have stretched to this. Nevertheless it is an impressive piece of equipement and sure to get admiring glances from the others mums about town.
The stroller is of the three wheeler variety but actually has two wheels together at the front which makes it more stable and therefore safer. The outer hood is fully waterproof and comes with a waterproof cover to go over your cosy toes and a rain cover too.
It has a removable bumper bar and an attachment can be purchased to enable you to turn it into a pram for very young babies. I decided to buy the attachment and carrycot (cost around £100) as my son was born 7 weeks early and was very small. The literature with the Y2k/2 states that it can be used...

Great lightweight stroller
Review of Mamas & Papas Nipi Stroller - Oko Capri by
claired1977
Advantages: Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre
Disadvantages: Not great on deep gravel
...This stroller is very lightweight, with a five point harness, leg rest, several recline positions including flat, shopping tray and swivel and lock front wheels. This pushchair could fit in the boot of a small car quite easily and is quite reasonably priced. I love this pushchair, we bought it to use on holiday but it is now my normal pushchair as its really nifty and nippy. I love the colour (capri) but I think that this colour is now discontinued. Accessory packs allow you to add a raincover, sunshade, cosy toes etc which do up the price a bit but at least allow you to buy only what you want. I think my only niggle about this pushchair is that when my son is in it is it almost impossible to push over deep gravel (because it is so lightweight it can't cope with the gravel)....

Excellent value for money stroller.
Review of Bruin Alpine Stroller by
lazypinksunday
Advantages: Excellent value for money. Lightweight and compact.
Disadvantages: Seat could be slighty more upright but doesn't cause great problems.
...I was looking for a buggy which was lightweight and easy to get on and off buses but didn't have a lot of money to spend. The Bruin stroller offered all the features I desired, including reclining seat positions, basket, raincover, for only £69.99. I also got a free footmuff (worth £29.99). It is a lovely grey and black colour with an orange trim - so it is a bit different from other buggies out there.
It is extremely easy to use and does not take up a lot of space in the boot of my car. The observation window on the top of the hood is great for checking on a sleeping baby or toddler.
I was concerned about the seat not being as upright as other models as I have an extremely nosey baby, however I have never found this to be a problem.
As with other models when the seat is reclined to the furthest back position the basket...

Stylish, practical and affordable stroller
Review of Petite Star Zia Stroller by
annagable
Advantages: Light, compact, folds down small, seat reclines fully.
Disadvantages: Small shopping basket that's difficult to access when seat is reclined.
...The Zia is a fabulous lightweight, compact and versatile stroller. I bought mine after breaking our old travel system and wanting something that was easier to handle. I haven't been disappointed.
The Zia has lots of excellent features. It's suitable for use from birth as it reclines fully. I'm currently using it for my 16 month old daughter and she's very happy and comfortable in it both upright and reclined for her naps.
It's very light, and folds down small - much like the equivalent Quinny model only the Zia has the recline function and also it's cheaper! Even though it's light I've found it to be very stable and haven't had any problems with tipping at all. It's easy to fold/unfold as well, and clips together when folded so you can just pick it up and carry it by the handle. The wheels can be removed if required too so...
