Twin up Twinings camomile.
Review of Twinings Pure Flowers of Camomile Tea by  christina44

Advantages: Natural.caffeine-free,versatile for many conditions.Inexpensive Brand.
Disadvantages: None other than an aquired taste.

...(ammonia)instead and bleached that way! EEww! can you imagine what a Roman would smell like as he pillaged the local women?? PACKAGING,PRICE... Anyway, digressing here,Asda sells no less than 11 different varieties of Twinings herbal and fruit teas. This company has been around the block since 1706 at least, probably in the ordinary tea leaf variety, first. (feel free to correct me on the dates!) I use Camomile type every day. First thing in the morning and last thing at night. sold in cardboard boxes with her Majesty the Queen's crest stamped on it. On the front is also a circular gold stamp informing; "Expert Blended since 1706" which is a long time! They promise also that they only use the flowers themselves for a lighter cleaner taste. The box is a sunny yellow, with a picture of the orange centered camomile flowers all over it... Read review

Twinings Green Tea - Health in a Cup
Review of Twinings Green Tea Cranberry by  Spottydog11

Advantages: V. Healthy, good for you, no calories, tasty, different
Disadvantages: None

...the leaf retains its green colour. The main thing I like about the green tea with cranberry is that is does not have an overpowering taste. Often with so called "fruit teas" you can really taste the cranberry and it makes the tea very sweet but in this tea you really only get a hint of cranberry. It adds a delicate flavour and twist to the tea without overbearing it. When brewed the tea comes out quite a light brown colour and is quite transparent. I do not let the tea bag seep in the water for too long because I find if it stays in there a while the tea can often go quite dark and heavy and tastes too strong. Twinings do a good job of packaging their tea. You can buy packets of just the green tea and one flavour, such as the cranberry or you can buy the multipack which has about 4 tea bags of each different flavour mentioned above in. I... I'm Getting Fruity
Review of Twinings Traditional Fruit Infusions by  jools30

Advantages: low calorie and no caffeine
Disadvantages: some availability problems

...I first started drinking fruit and herbal tea regularly about 6 months ago, when I went on a bit of a (failed!) health kick. I started off with a pack of mixed fruit tea bags and from there decided to try some of the herbal varieties. I picked Twinings because they offer more variety than some of the other makes. Twinings Infusions (to give them their posh name!) are available in a variety of fruit and herbal mixtures. Although this category is about the fruit variety, I will give details of some of the herbal ones here as well as they all tend to overlap! All varieties are caffeine free and low in calories (an added bonus for anyone looking to shift any weight gained over the festive season).  Raspberry, Strawberry & Loganberry – one of my favourites, has a clean, refreshing, fruity taste.  Camomile & Lime... Go On, Go On, Go On, Go On
Review of Twinings Traditional Fruit Infusions by  susan1967

Advantages: that was my Mrs Doyle impression
Disadvantages: it wasn't very good was it?

...to believe I know, but I do) I discovered the Twinings website (expert blenders since 1706). I found that this company make mixed boxes of infusions so that you get a variety of flavours so I sent my husband on a mission to KwikSave to see if he could find me some. He came back with a box of twenty fruity bags and only paid 81p for them. I have since found that Asda do them for only 70p, bargain!! My box is the Fruit Selection one; others include Refreshing and Revitalising Selection and Exotic Selection. The front of the box has the Queens ‘by Royal Appointment’ thingy on it so it must be good stuff, then again Queenie wears Burberry so we know her tastes can be a bit dubious. This box as I’ve said before contains 20 assorted sachets, 5 of each flavour; the favours are Lemon Burst, Raspberry Strawberry & Loganberry, Peach & Passionfruit... Read review

I started with good intentions.....
Review of Twinings Cranberry Raspberry and Elderflower Fruit Infusion by  wellibelli

Advantages: it's healthy

...Well how does the saying go....new year, new you? Well i thought i'd give it a go at being a bit more healthy this year, so trotted of to my local tesco to stock up on "healthy" goodies. I picked up a box of twinings fruit bliss, cranberry, raspberry and elderflower tea bags, thinking it sounded nice. I really do need to stop drinking so much diet coke, so thought this would provide me with a tasty alternative....the box promised me an uplifting blend to drink!! Well in these cold, dark days i need all the uplifting i can get so all in all it sounded perfect!!! ***THE BRAND*** Twinings is an extremely popular brand, providing fruit teas, herbal teas, tea teas......every tea you can think of. Tempting but Hardly Exciting
Review of Twinings Pear & Guava Fruit Fusion by  Zmugzy

Advantages: An alternative to normal tea.
Disadvantages: Lacks a full flavour

...Twinings Pear & Guava is described as "a tempting, tropical treat, balancing the unusual yet delicious flavours of exotic guava and juicy pears". It is one of Twinings soft Fruit blends. I was attracted to this tea because of its guava flavour. I'd never come across guava in tea before and as I'm always on the look out for that extra little bit of excitement that we ll need from time to time, I decided to give this Twinings brew a go. Guava was also one of my favourite fruits when living in Brazil. However, the taste of this tea evoked very little recollection of any intimate guava moments of the past. If guava is there, it's hiding itself very well. The pear flavour is more pronounced but nothing to get too excited about. The principle ingredients consist of hibiscus, rose hips, pear flavouring, guava flavouring, pear pieces... Read review

You fruity little devil
Review of Twinings Cranberry Raspberry and Elderflower Fruit Infusion by  BUBBLES171

Advantages: Caffeine Free
Disadvantages: You must leaving to sit to get the taste thro

...refined in a way its not a strong tasting tea but you can taste the ingriedients. It leaves a fruity soft taste in your mouth whereas if you drink normal tea black it leaves a strong aftertaste. Last week i had this drink everyday as i had a cold and now its gone, dont forget all these fruits have vitamin C in them. Cranberry is brilliant for detoxifying your body and this is well known. Raspberry is known for its sweetness and Elderflower is supposed to stimulate your circulation. If i had to describe this drink to you i would say it tasted like hot blackcurrant. Also this is a really nice drink when left to go cold, throw some ice cubes in and it makes a refreshing drink. Price and Availabilty --------------------- Most supermarkets now stock the twinings range and i have seen it priced at anything from 80p to £1.10 On average i... Read review

Give me caffeine
Review of Twinings Traditional Fruit Infusions by  bizzetto

Advantages: Naturally Caffeine Free
Disadvantages: Mostly horrible tasting

...During a recent health kick, I decided that all of the tea and coffee which I drink was doing me no good and so I should give them both in and start drinking only decaffeinated or fruit teas. So I went along to my local Tesco's and purchased a box of 20 Twinings Traditional Selection Fruit Infusions. These came in a rectangular mauve box measuring 3 inches by 2.5 inches by 5 inches. The Twinings emblem is displayed in gold. Each teabag was individually wrapped and colour coded. They cost what I thought was the bargainous price of 85p (4.25p per drink!) and contained the following flavours; 5 Raspberry, Strawberry & Loganberry 5 Traditional Blackcurrant 5 Peach & Passion Fruit 5 Traditional Lemon They are prepared by adding hot water to one bag and then leaving to brew for three to five minutes. Sugar or honey can be added... Read review

Blackcurrant, Ginseng & Vanilla = Scrummy!!
Review of Twinings Traditional Fruit Infusions by  Suzi75

Advantages: Fruity, reviving, tasty, caffeine free
Disadvantages: Having to wait for it to infuse

...if preferred (I leave mine in to get a stronger flavour). Never add milk to the tea, as the resulting mess is yucky! You can however add honey for a sweeter taste. The tea can be drunk hot or cold. ~~~~The Taste~~~~ Now I always thought of herbal/fruit teas as having a combination of sludge and a dishwatery taste. I was very pleasantly surprised with Twinings. The initial taste is of blackcurrant and then you get a subtle hit of vanilla. I can't say that I can taste the Ginseng at all but the combination of all the ingredients make for a sublime cuppa. ~~~Summary~~~ I love these tea bags, I probably get through 2 a day even though I'm no longer pregnant. They are very refreshing and leave a pleasant taste in the mouth. Twinings do a large variety of other flavours for example: Pure Peppermint; Orange, Mango & Cinnamon; Raspberry... Read review

A tea for all reasons...
Review of Twinings Traditional Fruit Infusions by  libragirl

Advantages: Healthier option to tea
Disadvantages: None I can think of...

...The first time I had a Herbal tea, I was so naive - I actually put milk and sugar in it! (Doh! Well I is a blonde)!! LOL! Now, though. I have learned that this is NOT the case. I have been drinking the Herbal and Fruit teas for about 18 months now, and I love them. My favourite has to be Blackcurrant, vanilla and ginseng. Add a big teaspoon full of clear honey, and you have a wonderful fruity drink. The great thing about these teas, is that, even if left to go cold, they are really tasty and refreshing. Unlike normal tea. There are so many different types of tea, including Camomile, honey and vanilla - The honey taste really comes through in this one. Great for if you are stressed out and not sleeping well. Calms you down. Peppermint - Quiet a powerful taste, but bearable. Ideal for an upset stomach or flatulance! I suffer... Read review
