Yummy strawberry and Mango in my tea
Advantages: tastes good, smells fruity
Disadvantages: none
...This is my first tea review although I have a great collection of fruit tea at home. I don?t really like black and green tea. I buy only fruit tea. I am aware of the advantages of green tea but I can?t drink it. I am a coffee addict and I drink tea only occasionally when the weather is awful outside and I need a hot cup to hold in my hands for a couple of minutes.
Price and package
-----------------------
Twinings Strawberry & Mango tea comes in a paper box which contains 20 bags of lovely tea. The teabags are wrapped individually in paper sachets. The box on the top of it is dark pink and gradually it becomes almost white on the bottom.
There is a golden stripe on the box and in it you find the Twinings logo written by black letters. Below this label you can see the fresh & fruity brand label. Below this is the Strawberry & Mango...

Twinings English breakfast tea is terrific!!!
Advantages: great taste, makes a lovely cuppa!!!!
Disadvantages: can be a bit pricy!!!
...After my boyfriend got me a voucher for afternoon tea for two at the Marriott hotel for my birthday, which involved having an english breakfast tea as part of it, i decided that once i got home i would hunt out some English breakfast tea of my own.
This is exactly what i did the next time i went to asda, and on offer was twinings english breakfast tea.
The one i bought came in a black box, with gold writing on it. The packaging was attractive, and i had heard friends saying that twings earl grey was nice, so twinings was what i went for.
The tea bags themselves are square shaped, and come in boxes of 100 or 50.
So after putting the shopping away, i made myself my first ever cup of twinings english breakfast tea, and i have not bought any other brand since!!!
The bag allows the leaves to move reasonably freely, so you dont have...

twinings earl grey tea.....scrummy!!
Advantages: premium quality, attractive looking box design, full flavour
Disadvantages: box does not seal back
...WOW! What a lovely cup, I am a big fan of Twinings tea due to the quality (in my opinion) of this specialist, more upmarket tea. I will mention my opinion in sequence on a number of parts of the product:
Packaging/general feel and look:
Attractive box design with good quality card packaging with good styling and images
Taste:
Full bodied yet light feel, I reccomend to have fresh cream and shortbread biscuits (an extra special treat!)
Value for money:
I feel generally good value for money on this one - a classic taste but with premium quality
Enjoy! This is by far one of my personal favorates - give it a try I am on an average income and can afford it so is generally a great product I think! I personally enjoy sharing this taste experience with good friends....

Not a tea to dunk your biccie in :)
Advantages: Healthier alternative to regular tea
Disadvantages: Weak unless brewed for a while
...I've always liked the idea and the sound of fruit teas as an alternative to my usual PG tips with lots of milk...however all my previous experiences have left me with quite a negative impression. They seem to remind me of a bitter and weak version of hot vimto, so I've now lost count of the number of boxes I've bought expecting to find a new favourite hot drink, only to banish it to the back of the cuboard to be forgotten and eventually binned.
However on my latest health kick after a busy month of holiday cocktails birthday shorts and freshers week shots I decided I would once again give them a try. I like quite sweet flavours so the strawberry and mango caught my eye. They come in a box of 20 for approx £1 which at 5p a bag seems quite reasonable.
So I boiled the kettle, popped in a bag and left to brew for several minutes...

Twinings Green Tea - Health in a Cup
Advantages: V. Healthy, good for you, no calories, tasty, different
Disadvantages: None
...the leaf retains its green colour.
The main thing I like about the green tea with cranberry is that is does not have an overpowering taste. Often with so called "fruit teas" you can really taste the cranberry and it makes the tea very sweet but in this tea you really only get a hint of cranberry. It adds a delicate flavour and twist to the tea without overbearing it. When brewed the tea comes out quite a light brown colour and is quite transparent. I do not let the tea bag seep in the water for too long because I find if it stays in there a while the tea can often go quite dark and heavy and tastes too strong.
Twinings do a good job of packaging their tea. You can buy packets of just the green tea and one flavour, such as the cranberry or you can buy the multipack which has about 4 tea bags of each different flavour mentioned above in. I...

Add a little spice to your daily cuppa with Twinings Chai tea
Advantages: Delicious, different, revitalising
Disadvantages: Pricier than normal tea
...I have to admit I am a sporadic tea drinker, but sometimes you cannot beatdunking a nice biscuit into a lovely mug of hot tea. I drink all sorts, ranging from regular to fruit and herbal varieties and think Twinings really are one of the best brands around.
A short while ago I went to an Indian restaurant for a lovely meal and when it came to time for coffees I saw spiced tea on the menu and decided to give it a try. It was delicious - smooth and creamy with just a hint of warming spice. I thought to myself - I wish I had this at home!
this in mind I decided to investigate the tea aisle of the supermarket and came across Twinings Chai teabags. These sounded promising, described as an infusion with cinnamon, cardomom, cloves and ginger. They cost a little more than I would usually spend on tea at £2.29 a pack, but for 50 tea bags I...

Twinings - the sophisticated tea
Advantages: Excellent range and quality
Disadvantages: Lapsang Souchong
...As a regular tea drinker, I am always looking for alternatives to the usual brand makes. I recently decided to try Twinings teas, and was certainly not disappointed.
Their teas are rich and full of flavour. Ceylon, Assam, Darjeeling, Earl Grey, English Breakfast and Lapsang Souchong are available in most supermarkets, although some of the rarer teas, like Keemun and Yunnan, may be more difficult to find. All types are sold in both bag and leaf form.
PACKAGING
As you browse the shelves in the tea aisle, you are instantly enticed by the neatly stacked boxes of Twinings teas. Their sophisticated boxes seem to stand out from among the other teas. Boxes seem to have a regal quality about them. They are black with a strip of gold across the top embodying the "Twinings" logo. On the reverse of the box is a very informative "tea guide...

A kiss goodnight - Twinings Camomile Tea
Advantages: Relaxing, caffeine free and cheap!
Disadvantages: No 'pick me up'!
...It seems to be ever more fashionable to opt for herbal teas instead of the regular cup of Tetley's or PG Tips. I'm a huge fan of the standard caffeinated tea, and nothing beats a nice mug of hot tea on a cold winter morning.
However, having recently being diagnosed with anemia, my doctor informed me that drinking lots of caffeinated drinks can actually work against the iron supplements that I take. Therefore, she recommended that I switch to a caffeine free alternative.
I'm not a big fan of the decaffeinated versions of the standard brands of tea, and I never quite get the same satisfaction! Given that I have also recently been trying to improve my eating habits and cut out unnecessary fats, I decided to try a herbal tea (given that sugar and milk aren't really needed!)
A friend recommended this Twinings Camomole, Honey...

Not quite twinings standards (Twinings Pure Green Tea)
Advantages: price
Disadvantages: taste
...In twinings, you have a well established tea provider, one you can trust to produce a quality tea. I have always bought my English Breakfast, Earl Grey and Darjeeling teas from twinings, and hence thought that the twinings green tea would not disappoint. To my surprise I have not very much enjoyed this tea one bit.
A bit about Green Tea
Green tea is made purely from Camellia sinensis leaves, and is enjoyed without milk. It is a highly aromatic tea, with many reported health benefits, reportedly containing a number of anti-oxidants. It is thus said to be beneficial in the prevention of cancer and cardiocascular disease. Green tea has also been implicated as a weight-loss drink, supposedly raising basal metabolism. These findings have not been statistically shown to be significant however, as of yet, and this is not to say that...

Tea Bags - Twinings, Luxury In My Mug!
Advantages: Stress Relief In A Mug!
Disadvantages: Can be slightly higher in price!
...refreshing it was, he decided to ultimately spread the word about.
After many years, 'Tea' consumption went on to spread throughout the Chinese population. It reached into every single aspect of society and daily life (as it was back then)?.. After many many years (Early 17th century) of 'Tea' spreading throughout the different continents worldwide, it hit what is now Europe, and surprisingly wasn't an instant success.
England
'Tea' was initially drunk by Royalty and wasn't actually traded in this country until 1652. The English population weren't totally convinced about this beverage to begin with - they preferred coffee. It was only after the whole 'classy stigma' that was attached to the Royals; that the English population started to drink it. It is from here that we have come to love 'Tea' with such a passion.
