Tea Bags - Twinings, Luxury In My Mug!
Review of Twinings Everyday Tea Bags by  grown_up_girlie

Advantages: Stress Relief In A Mug!
Disadvantages: Can be slightly higher in price!

...& The "Everyday Teabag"** This brings me to 'Twinings'. This is a company that for over 300 years have been providing the world market with all sorts of different, specialist type 'Teas' for every individual taste bud yearning for something that little bit different. 'Twinings' offer an extensive range of teas including: herbal teas, breakfast teas, afternoon teas, after-dinner teas, evening teas, night teas and even elevenses teas! Whatever next….. ? Well as agreed by most, the very long overdue Twinings - 'Everyday Tea' is what consumer demand has been calling for. After many years… this well established company has finally listened to us, "the consumer", to bring us an 'ordinary tea', but which is like no other ordinary brand! This 'Tea' is sheer heaven in a mug! It's not like the herbal, scented or even smoky type tea... Read review

Twinings Wild Blackberry and Nettle herbal teabags
Review of Twinings Wild Blackberry and Nettle herbal teabags by  Jeser

Advantages: Greatly refreshing beverage for any time of day and cheap to buy
Disadvantages: Only available in limited healthshops

...Twinings also make a herbal tea called Wild Blackberry and Nettle and it tastes great and revitalising! The following features of the product are as follows: *PACKAGING, COST AND APPEARANCE* The Twinings Wild Blackberry and Nettle herbal teabags come in a blackberry coloured strong cardboard box with a picture of blackberries and green leaves at the front of the box with The Twinings gold Logo saying underneath the logo WILD BLACKBERRY AND NETTLE 20 herbal infusions as each pack has 20 teabags in. They cost an average of £1.09 per box. *TASTE AND HOW TO BREW FOR BEST RESULTS* I have found that they have a very refreshing, relaxing and revitalising taste and aroma of Wild Blackberries and Nettles combined to give the unique autumn taste that relaxes you as I always purchase this blend Make with freshly boiled water... The warming "honey "of Twinings Tea.
Review of Twinings Comomile, Honey and Vanilla by  genn133423

Advantages: Caffeine-free, beautiful taste, relaxing effect.
Disadvantages: Can leave slight aftertaste

...I am very big on my herbal teas-so whenever I spot a new one by my favourite company, Twinings, I try it out. My latest discovery is Twinings latest offering-"Camomile,Honey and Vanilla" flavour teabags. You can pick up a box of 20 teabags(30G) from Sainsburys, or any half-decent health-food shop, for about £1-09/£1-12-price does tend to vary slightly from shop to shop. Twinings are actually a New Zealand based company-but the product is made in the UK-at Andover in Hampshire. For loads of info on Twinings herbal teas checkout their web-site at www.twinings.com You may even get the chance to ask for a free sample-definitely worth a look! Now, to the product.... The Packaging- Twinings Camomile, honey and vanilla teabags come in a golden box that has a cute tear-down- to -open seam all around its edges... Read review

Twinings Lotus Green Tea
Review of Twinings Lotus Green Tea by  Zedex

Advantages: A slightly different flavour to normal green tea
Disadvantages: A bit sickly, not flavoursome enough

...I'm on a tea roll. Having tried and loved Twinings Earl Grey Green Tea, I saw their Lotus green tea in the supermarket and thought I'd give it a go. It's marketed as "delicately flavoured with delicious orange" so I thought, given the overpoweringly refreshing flavour of their earl grey green tea, that this would be similar but only orange instead of earl grey. I was wrong. You get 20 t-bags in a 50g lime green cardboard box, which has similar packaging to their fruity herbal teas. This costs £1.09 from Tescos, and you can get it at other supermarkets and also health food stores like Holland and Barrett. The ingredients are: Green Tea, Orange Flavouring, Lotus Flower Heads (1%) You brew the tea for 2 mins (any more makes it bitter, the box says, which is true) and you don't add milk. It's not disgusting, don't get me wrong... Read review

Whining about Twinings? Not me!
Review of Twinings Earl Grey Tea by  rsmith

Advantages: A good flavour; easily available in most shops
Disadvantages: too many floating stalks

...Earl Grey is my favourite tea, and it's just about the only kind of hot drink I ever bother with. There was a time, probably around five or ten years ago, when if you asked for it in a café or restaurant you’d get completely blank looks (as you would if you asked for black tea), but it’s achieved a certain fame and popularity nowadays. For anyone who doesn’t know, however, Earl Grey is a light tea, with a pale, dark golden colour, and, most importantly, with the delicate flavouring of bergamot, a citrus flavour. It’s a flavoured tea, then, rather than a herbal tea, and the Twinings version hails from China. It was named after Charles, the second Earl Grey, who was Prime Minister from 1830 to 1834. Even though he was a great reformer, he has become best-known for this blend of tea! Originally... Read review

Fruity Tea?
Review of Twinings Raspberry, Strawberry & Loganberry Tea Bags by  daylehall

Advantages: Caffeine free, smells gorgeous, healthy for you
Disadvantages: Doesn't taste as good as it smells, little more expensive than normal tea bags

...I have to admit to not drinking enough water. Every now and then, when I feel my skin is bad or I need a bit of a detox, I switch to Twinings Herbal Tea Range to give myself a break from caffeine for a while. I first started drinking herbal tea a few years ago and gave up soon after as I found it very tasteless. Last year, when I was deciding to be healthy for a while again, I came across Twinings Raspberry, Strawberry and Loganberry Tea bags so decided to give them a go. Availability I would imagine that these tea bags are available in most supermarkets such as Asda, Sainsbury etc. I usually by my tea bags from Tesco where a box of 20 cost 84p which is fairly reasonable but obviously more expensive than other tea bags such as PG Tips. An advantage of buying these tea bags from Tesco, is that they are quite often on the 'buy one... Read review

I got nasty habits I take tea at three
Review of Twinings Lady Grey Tea by  PERFIDIOUS

Advantages: Women are like tea bags they never realise their strengths until in hot water
Disadvantages: Revolutions

...went off in search of herbal teas from the native Americans. So as well as being taxed on newspapers, taverns and now tea yanks were getting a little bit miffed with the British, but we had just fought a war someone had to pay for it! To cut a rather long story short and to get out of historical facts and figures which I can't remember, lots of people threw tea into Boston Harbour (hence the name Boston Tea Party), England got very miffed and closed the Port down and sent in the troops. In return America got even more miffed and declared a Revolution. Phew, all for a cup of tea! It is estimated that 185 million cups of tea are consumed everyday in the UK alone. Women are said to be the major consumers, drinking every type of tea available. How many types of tea are there? Well really just three, surprising but true. Green Tea... Read review

Rooibos Tea!!!
Review of Twinings Classic Herbal Infusions - Pure Rooibos (Redbush) by  Kingkarliii

Advantages: Tastes nice and could benefit your health
Disadvantages: only 20 tea bags in a box

...THE PICTURE YOU SEE IS NOT THE ITEM YOU GET. ITS ANOTHER CIAO WHOOPSIE. I have recently been trying to find things that will help my daughter's concentration and being a great believer of traditional herbal medicine I started looking at the herbal teas in Tesco's. Not knowing which one to choose amongst the vast quantities of different flavours and unsure of what I was buying I bought Twinings Classic Herbal Infusions - Pure Rooibos. I choose this tea because it was made by a well known company Twinings who have been making herbal tea for a long time. Also because it had a picture of a plant that looked similar to Rosemary that I know is helpful for concentration. It turned out that Rooibos is not good for concentration, but nevertheless my daughter likes the taste of it and it is still beneficial health wise ***What... Read review

I admit defeat in the hands of Hippy Tea
Review of Twinings Cherry and Cinnamon Herbal Infusion by  ally2kc

Advantages: Taste better than you could imagine and is a healthier option
Disadvantages: It is limited edition so stock up now!

...Twinings Cherry and Cinnamon Herbal Infusion Tea Bags My father, a retired English Air Force Officer, has always taught me the importance of tea. He has taught me how to brew the perfect cup of tea, how long to steep the tea bag for, what temperature to boil the water at and when to add milk. Above all, he drove home the fact that any tea containing fruits, herbs, or anything smelly is not in fact real tea and should be treated with utter contempt. Over the years the hippy inside me has reared its ugly head in defiance and I have tried and tested any number of "non teas" with varying success. My father would hang his head in shame if he knew I had betrayed him and all tea loving nations and yet, today I make a stand in defence of probably the most delectable hot drink - tea or otherwise that has ever passed my lips. [How was I... Read review

Twinings Peppermint Tea
Review of Twinings Pure Peppermint Teabags by  kernow21

Advantages: Helps with nausea, bad breath, IBS, wind, stomach cramps.....
Disadvantages: An acquired taste.

..., after having refused to try it for months and months, despite the trouble she gets with her stomach. My housemate's boyfriend started drinking it whilst ill purely for medicinal purposes, and now he can be caught sneakily making himself a cup quite often! I used to also drink it purely for the help with my IBS, but now I do like the taste of it, I find it very refreshing and light. I must admit it is an acquired taste, one of those things that you have to keep drinking and drinking and then eventually you get to like it. I have to admit my mum hasn't exactly come round to the taste- she's not a fan of herbal teas in general - although she still has her daily cup as she finds it helps her so much that the taste is almost irrelevant. She used to suffer from terrible wind and stomach cramps in the afternoons, and now she reports... Read review
