...We’ve got a petit star pack'n'play' travel cot. It was a gift from one of our friends soon after our daughter was born. To be honest it got very little use till she was old enough to crawl and then walk, and it was then used as a playpen. The problem with using it as a cot is that you have to bend over quite far to pick the baby up, because unlike a conventional cot it does not have a slide down front section. The travel cot is very sturdy and quite easy to put up. It opens out in the middle and then you just twist the handle in the middle of all four sides to make them lock and then the whole thing stands up. It has see through sides which are useful because you can see what your child is up to. Kids love it because they can hold onto the sides and jump up and down – a bit like a trampoline. ...Avon's colour twist lip gloss pen is a great invention for ladies on the move. No fiddling around with pots, or a stick which twists, and then falls out because you've twisted it too far! The colour twist pen has a twisting mechnism at one end and a brush at the other, with the colour of your choice in the middle. All you have to do is twist the end, and the gloss comes out on the brush. Simple brush over your lips - voila! Just don't twist too much, like I did the first time, or you might get a little more than your lips can take! ...Akon is one of those characters hard to define. You could put him in the R'n'B ring but for all the good it would do when he belts out those hip-hop numbers, collaborating with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Eminem. A pioneer in his field, Akon used his West African descent and his latter years in New Jersey to create a sound, rich in texture and silky in vocal, and material motivated by his time in prison for various softcore offences to produce Trouble. The album, slow to take off in the UK produced some of the best R'n'B and Hip-Hop that the last two years have seen, tracks such as Locked Up and Bellydancer becoming impressed on our brains for their raunchy rhythms and soul infused style (Locked Up). ..., and in explosive fury, whereas in other inferior games a grenade would merely ricochet back into the face of the thrower. Yet another example is when reloading your weapon, everything behind the gun, as you look at it, goes out of focus, so the game world is as you would see it when focusing on a close object in real life. The level begins right after the last, going across the country and world, to get your man. I found this game highly enjoyable as I used as much of the surrounding area and cover to my advantage, and to the death of those trying to stop me (most particularly in sniper alley, it was a tight situation where you either moved fast or lost the ability to move) The only part of the game which particularly put me off is the final level, after an intense fight with one hell of alot of enemies there is a highly annoying twist... Just add 2.4 litres of water and microwave. To cook on a hob. Open the packet empty into your pan and add 425mls of water boil gently for about 8- 10 minutes leave for the sauce to thicken and then serve. Advantages: Hard wearing (for the most part !), inexpensive
Disadvantages: poorly deisgned HAT switch, and weak locking mechanism on twist

...I bought by Logitech Extreme Digital 3D joystick on the recommenadtion of a friend. I play a lot of flight sims and wanted something with a good quality twist grip (for rudder control) The stick works well, all of the pots, buttons and the throttle having lasted over a year now. I have even kept it in preference to more expensive sticks that I have tried. I now use the stick in conjunction with a pair of C.H. products Pro Pedals and have locked off the twist function. It was whilst doing this that I came across my one major gripe with the construction of the stick, the small locking screw that disables the twist (if you are using seperate rudder pedals)is made of weak plastic and is easily 'chewed' by a screwdriver if used repeatedly. My only other criticism is that the hat switch (normally used to control views etc) is too small... Read review

.... The engine bay is clean and tidy and all the bits you need to get to for routine maintainance is easy to get to..though the dip stick is a bit twisted..works fine though. Interior is not the interior of the saloon version from the same era, and is black, and well, black..BMW dials are extremely clear though. But some switches are obsured from view e.g. heated window switch. The steering wheel is also offset to the left slightly, I like it dead head on. Rear space seems claustraphobic due to the small rear windows, and the rear backs BMW use for the front seats get scuffed. The remote alarm fob is also so easy to press inadvertenly, the button is not recessed and if you are standing near the car with the key in your pocket it is possible to accidently lock or unlock the car.
