...it in the fridge for an hour, as I like cold chocolate:). An hour later and I went down to retrieve my somehow "scary" treat. I seized it from the fridge and sat up at the table with my chocolate bar and a drink of fruit juice. APPEAL; The package itself is similar to that of the creme egg and to the creme egg bar. The background is a mixture of two colours- red and purple. Purple being the cadburys "trademark" colour. The word "twisted" is written in large yellow capitals along the front of the packet. The "i" in the "twisted" is quite cleverly made into a twist, somehow suggesting what is going to lurk beneath the packet. The cadburys logo, and the word "creme egg" is written in the top left hand corner in a yellow "splat" representing the yolk of an egg I think. Advantages: Tastes lovely, it's PEPSI

...drinks that hurts your nose on the first gulp. So drink slowly or your eyes are going to start watering! :o) It smells gorgeous as you open the can, not particularly 'lemony' but theres a lovely sweet, bubbly smell - the only thing I can liken the smell to is those Traditional Lemonade's that seem to pop up all over the place in the summer, but it's not quite that either..... I tried Pepsi Twist in a glass of vodka but it doesn't seem to suit being used as a mixer as the alcohol does something with the lemon and you get a glass of vodka which smells like lemon washing up liquid! Best drunk on it's own I think. :o) oOoOo WHAT ELSE? oOoOo This particular can is 330ml and it cost me 47p from the local rob dogs, erm... I mean Londis. ...Twist opens with a fairly satisfying pop, as the carbonated fizz is revealed. Does it smell of lemon and lime? In a word "no" - it has a unique smell but I'm not sure I could pinpoint it to citrus or even fruit. I think the most apt description is that it smells "sweet" in a similar way to that of a heady perfume or parma violets (those little sweets - anyone remember them?). I pour some into a tumbler and am disappointed and dismayed at the apparent lack of carbonation. It pours flat, and I hadn't even added ice to the glass which I would normally do. Just in case I had used a glass that hadn't been dried up properly, I tried pouring another serving into a different glass but got the same result. ...Cadbury's Crème Egg Bar It is no crème egg…its twisted! I wouldn't call me a choc-a-holic as such, but I do really love my chocolate! One of my favourite chocolate treats are Cadbury's crème eggs, but because of the egg shape it always gets messy, chocolate and crème dripping all over my fingers and quite often over my chin - a great look if you happen to be nowhere near a washroom and have no wipes. Messy and sticky isn't the perfect look. The outside of the treat is yellow/beige (similar to the colour of a dog bone) and the middle is a reddy brown colour (similar to the marrowbone you get in dogs bones). The outside of the treat is quite hard and my dogs certainly have to chew on them to break them apart. The inside is slightly softer though, again, I think this is meant to represent the normal marrowbone of a dogs bone. Marley's and Dax's (my dogs) Opinion This treat is a firm favourite with my dogs. Dax is a very fussy eater and quite often refuses to eat his dinner but whenever I get one of these treats out, he sticks his nose up in the air to have a good sniff and you can tell that he is getting excited at the thought of having one. .... I prefer them as they are but you could serve these with a selection of dips along with other crudites. They are a nice alternative or addition to your snacks. Chive and Onion Twists can be served cold or warmed up in the oven, place on a tray in a single layer in preheated oven 180C/350F Gas mark4 for 3/4 minutes.
