...Zoo Tycoon 2 What another great game from the series of "Tycoon". There are so many around it is quite unbelievable and every single on re that I have played has been quite amazing with a total original theme. Well I purchased this game on the 26th November 2004 from WHSmiths and it cost me £29.99. The reason I know this is because for some bizarre reason I still have the receipt in the case. Well this game made by Microsoft is called Zoo Tycoon 2, and if you are familiar with the tycoon range then you will know what the idea of the game is. So for those who have never experienced the tycoon games. Basically in this game you have to create a zoo which will enclose animals which visitors can come and visit. Advantages: Quick and simple for first time tycoons

...The Tycoon games have been a huge hit. First I played on Roller Coaster Tycoon then Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and now finally Zoo Tycoon. Zoo Tycoon is a brilliant game if you have a day spare to get on with some serious gaming. I bought this game for 27 pounds and that includes the two expansion packs, Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs. When you buy the game, you find out how clever it is. You put your CD in as normal and then it installs. It takes about five minutes installing but do not be put off by this figure. While it is installing you get a tutorial of how you start up a basic game. Clever eh? When you start up you get a choice of Freeform game and Scenario game. On a Freeform game you start with the amount of money that you want and the type of terrain you want for your animals. With the money you can get between 0pounds... Read review

...Having recently discovered that I can get hold of a stack of classic games for virtually nothing, I've been on a bit of a budget gaming spending spree. Amongst the game I've bought is Transport Tycoon. The basic idea of Transport Tycoon is that you start off in 1930 as a budding entrepreneur intent on building up a business in transport. There are a number of small settlements scattered across a diamond shaped world map along with some small businesses ranging from farms to factories, forests to sawmills etc. The idea is to create transport routes carrying any kind of good you can lay your hands on (and this includes passengers) with the aim of making a profit. ...Roller Coaster Tycoon, a very interesting and fun game, can be enjoyed whether you're just fooling around or trying diligently to move to the next level. The game isn't too confusing, though the first few minutes I played this game I had to figure some things out. I wouldn't recommend it for children under the age of 9 or 10, especially since it does require some patience. The difficulty is at a happy medium, where as achieving to the highest levels and completing all parks its rather difficult, yet building some parks is fairly (but not completely) easy Roller Coaster Tycoon works well with Windows 98 and up. I tried to run this on the Windows 95 computer I have, and it didn't perform. I haven't had too much trouble with it, though if I did keep it paused for multiple hours it would sometimes freeze. ...ROLLER COASTER TYCOON 2 What a great game for all of those tycoon lovers. There are so many tycoon games out there in the world but I think that this one has got to be one of the best that I have ever played. It allows you to do so much and leaves you playing for ours on end. So what is Roller Coaster Tycoon? It's a game like many others which allows you to build and design your own theme park. It's so much better than all of the other games. ...After playing the amazing depth-filled 'Transport Tycoon', I began to look for another 'Tycoon' game to satisfy my management craving. That game was Rollercoaster Tycoon. It's hard to describe how fun it is playing this game, but since this is a review i'll have to. You basically play out scenerios. They have targets that must be met or you'll fail. These can range from attracting a certain amount of visitors by the end of the year, to turning the park into a million dollar company. It's all here. So there you go. You're dropped into the game with total control. You can do anything. You can build benches, cut trees down, paint fences, Advertise, and of course, build rides. ...I have been a bit of a theme park friek since my first trip to Alton towers, and my favourite game used to be theme park. When rollercoater tycoon came out, having heard it was amazing from various games magazines, i baught it immediately, with out a second thaught. It soon became the most addictive game i had ever played. Rollercoaster tycoon is a game where you build your own theme parks. You start off on a very simple level, with just green land, and a limited ranhge of rides, but the levels get trickier.
