Honda Accord Type-S 2004 2.4
Review of Honda Accord 2.4 Type S by
alnug
Advantages: fast, handling, excellent transmission
Disadvantages: bigger brakes, no trip computer
...Well a year and a half has past since my last review and so i give you my latest installment. My year old new car is now up for review! The New shape 2004 Honda Accord Type-S!
I have driven the car for 31K miles now all in a year and a half, so i think i've expereiced things that people would normally experience in 3 years or more lol! I bought the car in late 2004 for a very good price (please see my further advice below).
Here I'll review the ownership of the vehicle, as well as discuss possible problems, including those I've experienced! I've done some modifications to the vehicle (please see The Honda Accord Owners club - www.thaoc.co.uk),
however here i will discuss th vehicle in standard form.
THE LOOKS
Ah the New Accord, that high waist line, that menacing looking front end and those twin exhausts...

Type R? Type Rubbish!
Review of Honda Civic Type R by
slaphappy1
Advantages: road handling
Disadvantages: after sales care, uncomfortable ride, noisy
...I regret ever setting eyes upon my Type R. I purchased a fully serviced 53-plate Honda Civic Type R from a Honda dealership in Grantham in November 2006. My reasons for choosing Honda was because I deemed them to be reliable and I went through a dealership specifically for warranty cover. After 4 months of owning the car, in March 2007 there was a tremendous clanging which could be heard over the radio. The car was recovered by AA the next day who took it to Honda to be looked at. The AA man discovered that the noise was down to a lack of oil in the car – it had burnt 4.2 litres of oil in 3,000 miles which Honda stated is normal for a Type R! Honda wanted to strip the engine at my own personal cost to see if the car needed a new engine costing £8,000. Honda advised me that this would not be covered under warranty and I would have to bear...

Zombie Killer Meets Typing Tutor Shocker
Review of Typing of the dead (PC) by
wampyrii
Advantages: see review
Disadvantages: see review
...This is a superb example of how to take two tired old genres, mix them together and come up with not only a rather good example of one, but an excellent example of the other. Typing Of The Dead is the sequel to House Of The Dead, mixing the completely separate genres of the old 'Resdent Evil' zombie shot-em-up genre with a typing tutor! "How the hell does this work!?!" I hear you ask...well it works extremely well and turns out to be not only a very useful piece of software to own in terms of improving your typing ability but also a pretty fun game as well.
Typing Of The Dead, pits you against a hoard of zombie killers armed only with your backpack and strap-on keyboard accessory. You must clear the level of zombies through typing alone, which will target and activate your weaponry, blasting the evil scum back to whence they came...

Type or Die!!!
Review of Typing of the dead (PC) by
thera_42
Advantages: Learn to type fast in a fun gaming environment.
Disadvantages: May be a little too fast on newer machines, especially through some of the training modes.
...Well this is a game I never thought I would play sooo much. It sounded fun, and when a friend bought it I thought I may as well have a go. Now I'm pretty much a gamer, I play anything from Doom types to RPG's through strategy and puzzle games...I'll even play some sport and beat 'em ups or flight sims...In general I love to play. In this game I LOVE to play...spot the difference???
Ok on to the game itself, well it is pretty much as stated elsewhere, you have to type words that appear in little yellow boxes in front of zombies in order to kill them. However, it's not THAT simple, you have to type it fast enough that the box doesn't start flashing red and then stay red as the zombie attacks you. There are several different modes in the game, and options can set to five levels of difficulty and different word lengths. Now unless...

There are many types of Buffalo
Review of Buffalo Ultra High Speed USB Flash Drive Type R - USB flash drive - 2 GB by
1st2thebar
Advantages: more external Memory storage
Disadvantages: small and fiddly
...**BUFFALO Ultra High Speed USB Flash Drive (Type R ) Memory key 2GB**
- What is Flash Drive Type R?-
The notable difference with the two types is that the R version is 4 months older in the market than TYPE S. The packaging is a different colour; but apart from that there is hardly anything noticeably different regarding to performance comparing the two types.
**This version is as secure as it's updated version TYPE S, and therefore fairs very similiar attributes**
*Summary*
Buffalo, is also know as Buffalo Technology was more known two years ago as a wireless firm -- now it has expanded into computer storage.. It boasts as a global force in manufacturer of innovative wireless networking, storage and multimedia solutions for the home and small business environments. Buffalo is growing quickly and is regarded as the Number...

A Different Type Of Bullet Hell
Review of R-Type DX by
scream4bruce
Advantages: Good graphics, challenging, two games in one, well managed controls
Disadvantages: Sprite flicker issues, dubious boss battles
...Making up this cartridge are the original Game Boy R-Type and R-Type II games, their new colour versions, and R-Type DX - the two enhanced games played back-to-back.
The R-Type games do not place much emphasis on it's story - only the original version of R-Type II here sets itself in some sort of context. Still, those with a Game Boy Color (or equivalent) would be forgiven for overlooking the originals, especially when they appear to exhibit similar faults with their enhanced versions (which I picked to play).
Graphically, R-Type DX showcases some neat effects - notably the laser reflecting off the walls - as well as some nice animation. However, the Arrowhead is a fairly sizeable target - making the play area a far from spacious one - and it does not help that the ship's collision parameters are questionable. While the occasional...
