Also good for peepin' toms

Advantages: Lightweight, Good Image Quality, Compact, Cheap.
Disadvantages: The Case.

...the case includes a belt loop on the back, due the flimsiness of the case, the binoculars lull down and move about a lot on the strap. The second problem with the case is that it is not waterproof, like the binoculars, meaning they will get wet if a downpour occurs. Also the case would be no use in protecting the binoculars if you were to drop them, its just too thin and doesn?t include any padding. (See Fig 3) I would strongly recommend that you invest in a more sturdy waterproof case to prolong the life of the binoculars, especially when using outdoors. I keep the binoculars in my camera bag (Lowepro), as its much sturdier and most of all waterproof. ~~~~ Technical Spec ~~~~ ~ 10x magnification. ~ 25mm lens diameter. ~ Auto focus: No. ~ Type of Prism: Porro. ~ Type Standard/Compact: Compact. ~ Water protection: Not Waterproof...

Great binoculars, great price

Advantages: Price, good low light performance
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

...I've had these binoculars for 2 years now, and they've been extremely useful. They were bought for me as a Christmas present, so I don't know exactly how much was paid for them, although a quick browse on the web shows a price around £40. At this price, I reckon these are an absolute steal. By coincidence, at the same time as I was receiving these, I was giving the same person a pair of binoculars in return, the only difference being that they were getting a pair of Leica Trinovid 10X25, which cost over 5 times as much (USD$384 to be precise). I've therefore had a good opportunity to compare the 2, and I think I wasted my money. There's no doubt that the optical quality of the Leica binoculars is slightly better, especially in very poor light, but if you just want a really good product for birdwatching, sports spectating, general...

The French Connection

Advantages: Very crisp, High quality, Very drinkable over long periods
Disadvantages: As with all alcohol must be drunk in moderation

...purchase that I we made was when we had a little outdoor gathering on our lawn. We purchased the 10 x 25cl pack at Tesco for £5.85. Although slightly on the expensive side it is a favourite amongst many of my friends and is certainly worth the extra few pence per bottle. As far as my viewpoint it is a beer that I would most certainly drink if offered and would enjoy it, since it is the type of beer that I like. On my Richter Scale I would give this one 8/10. Not bad for a French beer. Now that Scottish & Newcastle have taken over the Kronenbourg Company I am sure that we shall begin to see a lot more of this beer, which has great potential. We might also start seeing a reduction in the price, which would further enhance this beer’s success here in England. CHEERS !!!!...

Stella Headache Material

Advantages: Taste & Price
Disadvantages: causes seriously bad headaches when alot is consumed

...that is available in 25cl, 66cl, 330ml & 1 litre bottles along with 248ml and 440ml cans and they stock many varieties of pack sizes. Because of it's availability you quite often find that certain pack sizes of Stella may be on special offer, with the current prices at Tesco being: Stella Artois 20 X 330ml Bottles - £9.48 Stella Artois 20 X 25cl Bottles - £7.99 Stella Artois 20 X 440ml Cans - £15.98 Stella Artois Lager 4x440ml Cans - £3.98 Stella Artois 10 X 25cl Bottles - £4.97 Stella Artois 12 X 440ml Cans - £9.99 Stella Artois 6x330ml Bottles - £6.55 Stella Artois 66cl Bottle - £1.54 Stella Artois Bottle 1 Litre - £2.78 Stella Le Demi Beire 6x284ml Cans - £3.98 The alcohol content is 5.2% volume which like I put in my title is likely to cause a stonking headache after a few are consumed as I have experienced on a numerous...

Review of Stella Artois Premium Lager

Its good, but it should be cheaper

Advantages: Clean, crisp, tasty, strong (but doesn't taste it)
Disadvantages: Cost, packaging

...I first bought this beer after my youthful delusions that englishized beers were nice... I saw that it was imported from Spain, and in my limited experience I knew that to be a very good thing. Now, as the mature (?) drinker I am, I can really appreciate it. This beer comes in at a 5% ABV, and a price (from sainsburystoyou.com) of £2/litre (£4.99 for 10x25cl). It is imported from Barcelona, Spain, but if you've tried Spanish lager you'll imagine that it's their 'economy' lager - Spanish lagers in Spain are far superior. Saying that, it does bear some similarity to San Miguel, but is not quite there. It has a good taste, and is quite full bodied. And after a long period of chilling, tastes real good. When I first tried it, this beer was about half its current price, and for that price, it was a fantastic buy. But now, it costs...

Belgian Beauty

Advantages: Takes great - and gets you drunk - takes away all the worries in the world.
Disadvantages: Hangover. Dehydration.

...X 330ml Bottle £20.99 (£1.51/PINT) Stella Artois 10x330ml Bottles £9.99 (£1.73/PINT) Stella Artois 66cl Bottle £1.75 (£1.51/PINT) Stella Artois Bottle 1 Litre £2.99 (£1.7/PINT) Stella Artois Lager 4x440ml Can £3.98 (£1.29/PINT) Stella Artois 12 X 440ml Cans £9.98 (£1.08/PINT) Stella Artois 24 X 440ml Cans £16.98 (£0.914/PINT) Stella La Grande Biere 4 X 568ml Can £4.83 (£1.21/PINT) Stella Artois 10 X 25cl Bottles £5.95 (£1.36/PINT) Stella Artois 20 X 25cl Bottles £8.49 (£0.965/PINT) What I love about the cans is that they are not just flat rounded metal, but the emblem is actually pressed onto the can, giving a sensual pleasure to the fingers as you feel the can, as well as a flavoursome heaven as you taste the cold beauty of Stella Artois. Public house and bar prices are slightly less pleasing on the eye. Expect...

7DayShop, VAT Free Only For Low Priced Items

Advantages: Unbeatable prices for items under £18 (VAT-free). For the rest, know your prices and assume nothing
Disadvantages: Not very informative order progressing.Check a shopping robot before committing to a high-priced item.

....49 plus postage. No, they weren?t at the end of their shelf life ? they had perfectly normal expiry dates some years into the future and were in English-language packaging. This enabled me to take the camera on holiday without its charger for two weeks, and I?ve still got three of them left. Another bargain, which is hard to match, is the Hyperdrive (64 Mbytes) Flash memory. This is one of those portable USB 2.0 memory devices, which can be used in place of a floppy disk for the transfer of data between PCs. It comes with a slim-line body (a bit like me really), and has a pen-clip to keep it firmly in place (not at all like me). I stand to be shot down in flames here, but £17.99 seems bloody cheap to me, especially for a 2nd generation USB 2.0 version. Oh, yes, and a pair of folding 10x25 binoculars at £9.99 reduced from £40 seemed like...

A MASSIVE RIP-OFF IF THERE EVER HAS BEEN ONE

Advantages: none whatsoever unless you become and agent and collude in ripping other people off
Disadvantages: they steal your money and call it saving

...these people steal your money, if you don’t care about interest donate it to a charity or something. - What about the goods, though? The general principle is the same, you pay first, and in instalments and then you get your stuff. But perhaps they provide good value and savings on the retail prices. I have not had patience or time to check everything, but I did check a few. Let’s look at a simple lager pack. Park’s ‘Stella Artois’ contains: 10x25cl; 2x660ml; 8x500ml; 8x330ml; a mixture of bottles and cans. I took my comparison prices from Tesco.com website; the size of multipacks offered by Tesco is different and they don’t offer 500 ml cans but 440 ml cans; but using the most similar packaging and making allowances for a bigger size of cans; the cost of the equivalent package from Tesco would...
