So now you know what Coyote Ugly is......but what does it have to do with this film, which is all about the beautiful people of New York, the cast does include model/actress Tyra Banks and singer Leanne Rimes. Well nothing really, other than it is the bar where our heroine, Violet, or Jersey as she becomes known at Coyote Ugly, works in order to pay the bills while she chases her dream of becoming a songwriter. Jersey is the naive new-comer to New York who seems to get suckered in at every turn until she gets a job working the bar at the aforementioned Coyote Ugly. ...but alas it is going totally unoticed in the lil old town of New Jersey. Violet desides to up sticks and move to the big bad city of New York to pursue her dream, much to her fathers concern. Before long Violet encounters a rather handsome young blokie named Kevin who takes her demo tape of her music. He is going to get her noticed but in true teen flick style the pair end up falling in lurve and getting it on aswell. Violet has no money and aint gonna get far in New York city without a job so she decides to ask about employment in a local bar called 'Coyote ugly'-strange name we will get to the meaning in a bit! What is Coyote Ugly I hear you ask well… it is… "Did you ever wake up sober after a one night stand, and the person you're next to is lying on your arm, and they're so ugly, you'd rather chew off your arm then risk waking 'em? That's coyote ugly." It is a brilliant film for anyone male or female, it is a good film that has to be seen even if it is just once!!
