Advantages: Hip Hop for new audience
Disadvantages: Will dissapoint those looking for guns and drugs

...I have been dying for an album like this for years, I just didn't know it. Being a rock fan, I have dabbled in the Hip Hop trade, liking a bit of Dr Dre, Run DMC and even some Eminem, but I could never really associate myself with the lyrics or what they were singing about. Yes, the were often very clever, but I have never shot a man, been shot, been divorced, taken coke, been arrested or bought Adidas trainers, so there was always something missing. I recently have been getting into Jurassic 5 which had led me to buy the Ugly Duckling album, Journey to Anywhere. I bought it for £10.99 from Polar Bear in Birmingham University. Advantages: uplifting, upbeat, will make you smile

Made up of Dizzy Dustin, Young Einstein and Andy Cooper, the three make a killer combination. The appealing thing about them is the way in which they combine different musical styles with hip hop to make it more appealing to people who may not necessarily be interesting in rap and hip hop as it is often percieved, like 50 cent and Dr Dre. ...The fact that the (sadly essential) pre-show announcement reminding the audience to switch off their mobile phones and not to take flash photographs is amusing gets Honk! off to a good start – and it doesn’t disappoint after that. For those who don’t know, Honk! (note the obligatory exclamation mark) is a musical version of Hans Christian Andersen’s ‘Ugly Duckling’ story that won the Olivier award for Best Musical in 2000 despite being up against Mamma Mia and other equally commercial entries. It is a good old-fashioned musical comedy written by a pair of ‘minor’ lights in the British musical theatre world – George Stiles and Anthony Drewe and directed by big name Julia McKenzie. ...Elliott Smith, a man so ill at ease with his appearance he hated photo shoots, who double tracked his vocals due his lack of confidence in the power of his voice, a man who felt he was the ugly duckling but on record and to his fans a beautiful swan. I've been a fan for years, the beauty contained in his fragile voice seeing me through a few dark spells myself. This Cd marks the recorded farewell of Elliott Smith, the final songs recorded before his untimely death in 2003. He apparently left 2 cds worth of tracks, the majority unfinished and it fell to some of his closest friends to complete the recordings for release. The wonder of this, and the testimony to Elliott and his cohorts, is that this is unnoticeable throughout, the album sounding like years were spent perfecting the arrangements and production. ...is the miserly one-year warranty, which is totally out of place in today’s market, as most of the Fiat's competitors give a three-year all-inclusive parts and labour package. OVERALL RATING ~ ~ I have to (somewhat grudgingly) confess that this is not a “bad” vehicle, and that I was more impressed with its handling and performance than I had expected. However, to be absolutely frank, this is not a vehicle that I would consider purchasing. I must own up to a little personal prejudice here, as I have always considered Fiat to be the poor relations of their Italian cousins, Alfa Romeo. Its “ugly duckling” looks did it no favours whatsoever, and one would wonder just WHY Fiat designed it this way. (perhaps just to be controversial?) ...I would have avoided this problem so I will definitely do that in the future. I am going to send this one back and look for something a bit more trendy. However, I am not going to abandon Nokia altogether, they have given me great phones in the past, and hopefully in time they will develop their flip phone from this somewhat ‘ugly duckling’ into a more trendy ‘beautiful swan’!... Advantages: cheap,unusual and you can always find it in the car park
Disadvantages: style and comfort of a bygone era!

...is (currently)less than £100, and my insurance aged 50+ with a clean licence is £150.00 a year, fully comp. including full UK and european recovery and use for work. The canvas sun roof is simplicity itself to roll back and replace - easier than on the astra cabriolet I used to have - giving the option of fresh air or carrying those awkward loads which wouldn't fit into a much larger car. OK, some people might find the walking stick gears a bit if a challenge, at first, but it soon becomes the norm, and it is handy for hanging things on. I am not tall, but have a long back - my head rubs on the rooflining of a cavalier - not so with the ugly duckling - the designer was over 6' tall, and insisted that he should be able to drive it whilst wearing his hat. ...having watched plenty of films over the summer i feel i am able to work as a film critic. Of the films that i have seen this is the ugly duckling of them all. However it must be said that the graphics used are veryrealistic and quite stunning, though the really bad point was that there was basically no story line. I wouldnt really reccomend the film for anyone to go and see, although if u like good effects and are in to this sort of film then its a must see. I dont want to give the storyline away but basically george clooney dies, this is the most dramatic part of the film. You want to see a good movie go and see x-men or mi2.... Read review

...it pretty wide for the lanes. So we happened one day to pass West Herts Toyota, just outside Hemel Hempstead, and saw this curious Toyota Varis variant called the Verso. I have to confess that despite or maybe because I am a bit of a petrolhead, I’d never really focused on the Yaris Verso but we decided to have a look anyway. What is a Verso? Well, imagine a Toyota Yaris. It’s more or less the same length. It’s more or less the same width, but it goes up at least a foot higher. In fact it is exactly as high as it is wide. At the rear there is a fifth door, full width, side opening. The overall effect is… very ugly. But the point of the Verso isn’t on the outside, it’s inside.
