...I bought this microphone years ago to use with my old computer. I stumbled across it again recently and have started using it again. Heres what I found: INSTALLATION So easy its unbelievable. The plug is colour co-ordinated, so all you have to do is look for the wee hole in the back of your computer with red around it, plug it in, and hey presto, you have a working microphone. APPEARANCE Its small, compact, sleek, will fit on your desk no problem. The wire is very long so you're not restricted to where on your desk you can put it. FEATURES Its a very simple microphone, nothing special. Like all mics, you can adjust the volume via the control panel on your computer. This mic is on a stand with a swivel base. Advantages: Very Cheap, Low self noise, reasonable tone

Advantages: Some Songs that you know
Disadvantages: Many songs I didn't know, very fast at times and gets boring quickly

...This game had so much potential to be great - I think it failed to be a success like Singstar.. I saw this when I was looking for a new computer and I thought it looked really cool - it was on a display shelf in a box, displayed at the front of the shop on a tower of boxes full of Get On Da Mic (I guess that should have told me that it wasn't the best game - it wasn't exactly flying off the shelves..) Advantages: Nice live mic +Studio mic.
Disadvantages: High cost that puts it below alot of studio condensers.

...Generally a good mic. Suitible for stage or live use. As with all Shure gear, it's very durable and for a touring musician it can last quite a while. (but then so can any mic that's treated well) It's a dynamic micropone (moving coil) so it does not require any external power. It has an XLR output. It can be used in the studio and I've used one in the studio for vocals which yeilded some nice results. But it wouldn't be my first choice for tone or price. It carries a retail value of over £90. Which for the musician, is a bit of a rip off. Now whilst I have said this mic is good, it's not so good it should carry a price of over £90. For the following reasons, 1. It's a dynamic mic. This means in studio applications, it yeilds a more tinny sound than a large diaphragm condenser would and also lacks the warmth of a large... Read review

...I just needed a simple functional USB microphone for my computer so I could make voice calls over Messenger. This one was only 11£ and by the very well known Logitech so I got it. It comes in a sealed plastic case with a warranty, instructions and its about 1.5metre length of USB cable. To use it I thought I would have to install some drivers but it turns out you just plug it in the back and presto, it's on! You can see it is on by seeing a green light on the button. If it doesn't turn on right away, press the button as it probably is turned on mute. It was immediately recognized by the computer and was fast and easy to setup on messenger which was my mane purpose for it. I have used it for audio recording as well and since it has a very high quality of recording its perfect! A really neat feature of this mic that stands... Read review

Advantages: Great professional sounding mike for under £100
Disadvantages: Its only disadvantage is its not the wireless version for this price ;-)

...~~~The product itself~~~ The product itself is a shure SM 58 LC professional microphone for vocal singing. ~~~Make & model~~~ It is one of the most recognisable microphone's on the market with its graphite grey body and dull silver head. It comes complete with a mike stand holder and a soft case, as well as the box it is supplied with. I purposely bought this model without the on/off switch as a friend told me he had some trouble with a switch on a Shure, (although it was after ten years of solid use with a hired pa system). It is availabe to buy with an on/off switch though if that's what you prefer. ~~~Sound Quality~~~ Fantastic. I've been complimented so many times on how good a sound i get out of this mic. I particularly like these lyrics in a club setting, because not only is MC Hammer magic on the mic but he also has the power to stop hundreds of drunk eighties rejects who each thinks that they are the ultimate dancer stop in their tracks at the three words "Stop Hammer time." And then everyone begins to wiggle in a mad frenzy. Just for a split second everything stops. God bless MC Hammer. 7. ...... Paris In Flames has a great intro with lots of thrashing guitar. Thursday's singer seems to swing his mic around a lot for no real reason, the poser, but he does a good tuneful shout and there are some fantastic lyrics here (Here, in this collapsed lung of a borough, there is no sunlight, the sunlight is manufactured in a windowless room, businessmen hang themselves...) This song is kinda intense and desperate, it makes me feel (completely irrationally I'm sure) like they're starting some kind of revolution and are trying to recruit the masses...but I'm mental so let's move on. 4. Guernica (Brand New) Brand New another (yes you guessed it) emo band. The whole of their second album Déjà Entendu is genius. This song was written when the guy's grandad died. I think it really captures how helpless and angry he feels and that's what music... Read review

Disadvantages: There's a bloody rent-a-rapper in one of the tracks!

.... Again, this showcases Lewis with more vocal capability than he is credited for. Conversely, this also has a pure pop feel about it, along the lines of a classic Backstreet Boys or N*SYNC track. There is also a rather cool sounding electro synth middle8 section, with strong vocals and melody. Very catchy. >>About: This is a song about being in love. ...My husband purchased the Logitech quickcam web for £59.99 from PC World and I was very dubious at first, I even covered it up when on the net just in case someone could see me. Sad I know but it made me nervous. As I've got used to it I've been pleasantly surprised. You can take instant photos by simply pushing the button on top and as it has quite a long lead it's easy to move around. You can also make video's which don't have the slow motion effect I expected but appear to be real time. These can then be sent by email as attachments, great at the moment as my parents are in Canada and I was able to send a video of my daughters birthday party. It comes complete with a built in mic so you don't need to buy separate equipment to have netmeetings. The video does seem to move slower when used this way though, with individual frames...
