...superior - it is acceptable for my requirements. The Mitac 168 combines a PDA with a sat nav. system. And whilst the PDA is of inferior quality the Sat Nav element of the Mitac is most definitely not. It is on par with stand alone GPS units such as Navman, Tomtom etc. The Mitac has a built in GPS receiver. If any of the readers of this review have ever had to sync an external GPS receiver to a PDA then they will appreciate what an excellent feature this is. I used to have a Toshiba PDA and separate GPS receiver. I never got the two linked up properly and experienced so many problems, including lost signals, no satelites showing etc etc. the list is endless. Simple user menu's, Find and Navigate, Address, Postcode or Places of Interest, help to find your way to your destinations. Also has Speed camera locations which will need updating from time to time. Voice assistant is pleasent to listen to. I have this installed on my EEE PC (701 Windows) coupled with a GPS receiver (USB). Works seamlessly. I would like the speed camera feature to warn me of up coming cameras, it changes from white (no cameras) to amber (Camera detected 500 yds) and red with an alarm when you pass the camera. Maybe I need to check the setting again to see if I have set this feature up correctly. Because I am using the EE PC I needed to find a suitable mounting for the PC, and I tested the available mounts...

Once plugged in and installed- mere seconds after opening the package- you just slot your Mitac Mio 168 Digiwalker in (that is assuming you have already installed the synch software for the PDA according to its instructions)- the cradle automatically starts to charge your PDA, and the PDA and your installed synchronising software take control of everything else. Breaking the connection is just as simple- just remove the PDA, and go. Whilst in the cradle, all buttons, sockets and other items (such as the stylus, speaker and IR port) are accessible,+ -+ apart from the headphones socket. CoPilot Live 6 Review +Important N95 Information

The version for the Pocket PC is virtually exactly the same at the symbian based CoPilot live software for the Nokia Mobile phones.
