Amazon.co.uk - A reliable online shop.

Advantages: Really wide range of products, Speedy Delivery, Easy to order from.
Disadvantages: If you select free delivery it takes a little longer.

...I first came across amazon.co.uk a good few years back when it mainly specialised in books. I was initially really impressed with the service and have since used it many times to order dvds and such. I particularly like the search function as it lists dvds from similar genres too. Once you've signed up, ordering is pretty easy. All you have to do is type in your delivery and card details and then confirm postage details. I really liked the fact that you have the option of saving your card details as if you order again you can pick which card you would like to use. I've found the postage costs to be pretty reasonable, I think it costs about 1.50 per item but delivery is really quick :-). ...the years, and I think only a couple of times have things not turned up (I?ve had plenty of stuff go missing from other online stores!), and when they did, Amazon just sent out replacements the same day I informed them of the lack of delivery. I once returned an item, on the grounds I didn?t want it, they took it back without question. I only had to pay the postage. So I?d recommend, Amazon.co.uk as a good online supplier....

Since i stumbled across Amazon i haven't brought a book in a shop, as whether you but it new from Amazon/a seller, or used it is so much cheaper. The penguin classic range is usually around £1.50, but on Amazon you can buy them brand new for only 1p, it's brilliant. I would reccomend buying books, CD's etc from the used and new selection as you can get some really good deals. You might be apprehensive about buying a used book online that you haven't seen before but there is nothing to worry about. Sellers are asked to state the exact condition of the product,and then previous buyers can rate them on how truthfull they were. It is a pretty good system. ...of direct debits, standing orders, and new accounts. I can send one off payments to other accounts. one off bill payments. So far the only thing I can't do is update my address, but I believe that is a Data Protection issue. ...I've only quite recently begun shopping with Amazon, the main reason being receiving vouchers from survey sites and from on here. It's now one of the first sites I look at when making a purchase. ~~~ Products ~~~ Amazon.co.uk stocks a massive variety of products. So far everything I have searched for has been available to buy on the site, although most of the things have been quite common like DVD's and games. I can't think of anywhere that stocks as much stuff as Amazon, maybe not even Ebay. ~~~ Prices ~~~ The prices on Amazon are very competitive and are usually the cheapest place to but DVD's and games, again being usually cheaper than Ebay, I have no doubt that this is the case for many other products. The main down side is that cash back sites don't offer cash back for Amazon, or am I on the wrong cash back site...
