...I discovered SkinStore.co.uk when doing a Google search for a skincare product that I needed to buy. On visiting the site, you will notice it looks very professional. It is well laid out and it not too 'busy' like so many other online stores. SkinStore is localized for four countries, the U.K., the U.S., Australia & Korea, and you select which one you want by clicking on the small flag. There are many different ways for one to navigate. You can selecting what you are looking for by department (e.g. hair , fragrance etc.), choose your concern (e.g. eczema etc.), skin type, application area or product type (e.g. shampoo). ...I first came across John Lewis in Liverpool where I began my university course in 1981. Later when I moved to London in 1986 I began shopping at the John Lewis store in Oxford Street. John Spedan Lewis founded the store I think in the late 19th century. The company is privately owned amongst its employees who are known as partners. It has resisted going public in the past but may do so in the future. The store has seven floors nicely linked by escalators and lifts. In the corridors are located toilets and telephone payphones. Its impressive kitchen equipment range takes up most of the lower ground floor. White goods, melon ballers, mug trees, lemon zesters, apple corers etc are found here. ...I have used onlinememory.co.uk on several occasions now for memory cards, and have always found them very efficient. The website is very easy to use, and is clearly laid out. The best part of it is the prices, which i have always found to be very very cheap. They now seem to pretty much send everything by free delivery, although that did take three days to arrive. I ordered a Sandsk 8gb Microsd last Tuesday as they were the cheapest i could find at £36 delivered, will be annoyed if someone tells me they can get it cheaper elsewhere as i thought i'd done my research. ...I hope I am reviewing the right thing here...I know there is an Apple store website but I recently visited the new apple store at 147 Buchanan street, Glasgow, G1 2JX. I am not big in to technology but it is fantastic. We are looking in to buying a new computer and decided on a mac. We looked on the internet and noticed that an apple shop had opened relatively near us. We decided to get on the train and go through. The shop is amazing inside - really clean and airy with multiple versions of the same product on display for customers to try out. As you would expect it sells everything Apple and has most things in stock to carry away. The customer service is fantastic. Dunnes Stores have been a label known for their cheesy low budget advertisements, however the clothes this Christmas didn't meet that standard, although not as cheap as the likes of Primark, Dunnes Stores offers a happy medium of quality and price for the average customer. Plus, in my area I can't think of any many other guys who would be buying there, so that saves any embarassment when you realise your friend has your jumper too, and it looks better on him. So all in all, if you have a Dunnes Stores near you, check it out. The clothes might suprise you, if you're open to have a little peek about. I actually left with too much choice! ...Tops.co.uk is the internet Topshop store. My opinion is somewhat mixed about it. On the positive side, the web site is trendy, interesting, with lots of inspiration for the latest fashion trends (eg. the 'beach babe', 'shimmer shimmer' collections). Browsing the store is also fun as I get to see the various clothes and accessories, some of which are not available in my local Topshop store. Besides, there are regular competitions and news. On the other hand, the range of clothes on sale is pretty limited, the pictures of the products are usually quite small and fuzzy. What's more, in many cases, it'd actually be useful to show the back of the garment, in addition to its front. To sum up, I think tops.co.uk can't quite match up to shopping in an actual Topshop store. There's still room for improvements.... Read review
