Mamas and Papas ultima 3 in 1 on mpx chassis.
Review of Mamas & Papas Ultima 3 in 1"" by
psykotikfraggle
Advantages: Comfortable for baby. Easily interchangable seat options.
Disadvantages: Size. Price of accessories
...I fell in love with the ultima system at first sight. The carrycot seemed so much more sturdy than some I had looked at and the idea of pushing a 'proper pram' round town really appealed to me. The fact that I am lazy and drive everywhere didnt occur to me! Luckily, due to the car seat attaching directly to the chassis I was still impressed. The little extras like the adjustable carrycot base, the numerous different positions for the buggy seat (including rear facing option) and the adjustable handle make this the rolls royce of travel systems.I would also rate the aftersales care very highly as when I had a problem with the sun canopy I made one call and recieved a brand new one within 2 days.
The only problem with this system is the size, To fit it into my vectra boot I had to take the cot or seat off the base every time...

ultima but not perfect
Review of Mamas & Papas Ultima 3 in 1"" by
angela-of-the-north
Advantages: versatile system
Disadvantages: bulky, needs a stand when folded.
...I bought the ultima with the MPX chassis for my grandaughter last year.
The MPX chassis is easy to push and handles are adjustable for shorties like me. Easy to tip up and down kerps and steps and easy to attach carrycot pram seat or car seat too. Dissadvantages are of course size, will not fit in the boot of a corsa. Chassis also rests on pointy plastic pieces when folded and stood up, this damages these pieces making the chassis look tattly even after a few uses. Parent tray is easily pulled off and detatches every time pram is folded resulting in us leaving it in the boot of the car most of the time. Swivel wheels are great in town but on rough terrain are useless, not for those of you who enjoy country walks.
Carrycot is a good size but you will need to buy a mattress in order to fit sheets. sit up is a great feature. Depending...

BABY bags Pole Position with the MPX chassis!
Review of Mamas & Papas Ultima 3 in 1"" by
Connoisseur_Haggler
Advantages: complete travel system, versatile, secure, comfortable, easy to manoeuvre
Disadvantages: initial expense, can be a bit bulky to store
...system. My Ultima 3 in 1 and a Primo Viaggio car seat cost £459.99 last year; the Ultima 3 in 1 on its own without car seat costs about £379.99. If you buy the car seat as part of the travel system, you save about £20. You can buy the range at any Mamas & Papas superstores and at many Co-op stores who also operate a Nursery Club allowing you a 10% discount.
I have had my Mama’s & Papas Ultima 3 in 1 travel system for over one year now, this has given me a good understanding on what worked well and potential problems. When you buy any Mama’s & Papa’s 3 in 1 travel systems you can choose your own chassis; this is the base and set of wheels that your other components like the pushchair sits on. It is, if you like, the foundation and the most important part of your decision making. The other parts such as the pushchair...

The Mamas and Papas of all Travel Systems
Review of Mamas & Papas Ultima 3 in 1"" by
Claire75
Advantages: The "one click release" system is easy and you can easily take the car seat from car to chassis with no fuss.
Disadvantages: Car seat is heavy, can work out to be expensive.
...This has to be the original Travel System, with Mamas and Papas being the first company to offer you the freedom of using any attachment (car seat/pushchair/carrycot) solo on any of their Chassis, with a simple on click attach/release system. But is origianl best ?
When I was pregnant the moment I saw this I was smitten. The ability to just click the car seat out of the car then onto the chassis simply and quickly did it for me, but after baby came and it was in everyday use its very easy to see whats what.
All Mamas and Papas equipment is on the pricey side, but once you add the Primo Viaggio car seat on this travel system it'll bump up the price by about another £70 and all in all can cost you well over £400.
The car seat is one of the heaviest on the market, which is OK when you have a 7lb newborn but a totally diffent...

Baby's Fabulous First Wheels
Review of Mama's & Papa's Ultima 8 in1 Combination by
kezziefaerie
Advantages: so many combinations, looks lovely and easy to use
Disadvantages: its quite big so may not be practical for very small cars!
...in the price of the 8 in 1 combination. It easily folds out and then away again for convenience, and you can attach all the other items to the stand. When used with the carrycot it becomes a handy moses basket which we thought we could use for those daytime naps, and can be used as an overnight bed. Mama's and Papa's do recommend that if you are using the carrycot as an overnight bed, you purchase an additional Sleepsafe mattress as the one in the carrycot is only suitable for pram use and not for long periods of time.
You can attach the seat unit to the base and use it as a child's chair or highchair, and also the car seat clicks on to the stand for use as a baby seat.
Anything else?
- The ultima 8 in 1 combination is everything you need from birth until your baby no longer needs a pushchair, which is part of the reason we bought it...

Obsidian - Free Ultima Online Shard
Review of Ultima Online (PC) by
Dave_UK
Advantages: A true gaming classic, great community, absorbing, free
Disadvantages: older game
...::Introduction::
*************************
First off, I had to give up Ciao a while back because of other personal issues that needed my time - so please dont expect a long review as I don't have alot of time this evening :( I am also aware that this game is also incorrectly listed under 'amiga games'. However, I hope that I can submit something of reasonable quality that some of you will find a pleasant read...
For this review I will not be covering the mechanics of Ultima Online (or 'UO') itself. There are myriad other reviews for that purpose here on dooyoo. My plan here is to draw your intention to one particular facet of the reknowned Ultima Online multiverse - a 'free shard' known as Obsidian.
For those of you who are unaware, Ultima Online is often considered the first, and perhaps the greatest and most original...

ULTIMA ONLINE A Review and Guide
Review of Ultima Online (PC) by
charis18uk
Advantages: A WHOLE WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES
Disadvantages: ADDICTIVE!!! VERY ADDICTIVE!!!
...Orc's, Dragon's & Skeletons...
...Oh MY!!!
What Is Ultima Online?
UO is a role playing game that you play online. It is one of a host of ‘MMPORPG’s’. (see below) that are currently available such as 'Everquest', 'The Realm' & 'Asheron's Call'. Ultima Online offers the player the possibility to be part of a ‘Virtual World’ and to create their own unique character & identity within that world. Unlike the role playing games that you play offline such as Final Fantasy, Baldurs Gate & Icewind Dale Ultima Online, they continue to exist & evolve even when you are not playing, this is called a ‘Persistent World’.
MMPORPG’s – What is that?
This stands for ‘Mass Multi-Player Online Role Playing Games’ and what it means is that firstly and most obviously it’s...

The Ultimate Ultima Title
Review of Ultima 7 (PC) by
arcadionseyes
Advantages: it's ultima, huge area to cover, loads of sidequests, loads of interactivity
Disadvantages: it's hard to run
...I had owned ultima games before ultima 7. The first 3 to be exact, but I was crap at them, the graphics didn't impress me, and er...I was really terrible and kept dying all the time.
But when I saw this game for a mere £4.99 I had to buy it. It looked and sounded intriguing, and that's exactly what it was.
For those who are not familiar with this now dead series(at least thats what EA want us to think) it was created by a Mr. Richard Garriot waaaay back in the mists of time. Basically the central charactar, by the fourth game, evolved into the Avatar, protector of the virtues...or something to that effect. You are this central character, and up until ultima7 I think I'm correct in thinking the Avatar could be male or female(yey!).
Basically you got to wander about dungeons, doing deeds for the king and so on. And you...

Ultima Thule
Review of Ultima Online (PC) by
equinox976
Advantages: Massive, Very Absorbing, you can own a house and start a guild!, the range of activities you can do is limitless.
Disadvantages: Pitifull customer service staff, Development team doesnt listen to players, can get very laggy on dialup, graphics are starting to look very dated, the 3D version is the most hidious game in the world.
...I've been playing Ultima Online for over 3 years now, so its about time I wrote an opinion on it.
When Ultima Online first came about, the creator (Richard Gariot) thought perhaps it would last a year, but as a testament to its staying power, UO has just celebrated its 5th anniversary, but enough about its history, what is the game like to play?.
It would be impossible to list everything you can do in UO, you can be anything from a mighty mage, to a powerful warrior, a rich merchant or a poor beggar!, and due to UO's unique skill tree system, you can incorporate, any skill into your characters template, and change your skills anytime you wish, similar games restrict you to having only skills related to your class, (for instance a mage can only have mage related skills, and cannot add blacksmithy for instance to their template...

Ultima 8: Pagan - Liher Review
Review of Ultima 8: Pagan (PC) by
Liher
Advantages: Great gameplay, Vast amounts of areas to visit, you are REALLY the Avatar
Disadvantages: The save/load was a bit of a dissapointment, you can die frequently
...Title: Ultima 8: Pagan
Creator: Origin
Slogan: We Create Worlds
System Specification Required: Pentium +, 16mb Ram, 90 meg bytes (tops) hard drive, 4x Cd Drive, Soundblater Compatible soundcard, Svga video card
Ultima 8: Pagan is a fantasy role playing based in a medievil world. The story lies from where an evil being named the Guardian has transported you to a totally differant world, and while you linger about wondering where you are and how to get back to your previous destination, the Guardian plots another fiendish scheme for the destruction of your previous location, Britannia.
Why I bought this - I bought this game as a compendium with the rest of the Ultima series, I first played it when I was at a friends house and just couldn't turn it off, I was that addicted. Therefore the in the next few days I went out...
