The dell ultrasharp 1707FP is a good monitor

Advantages: Great image quality, very adjustable
Disadvantages: Subtle color-tracking errors in the grayscales, slightly wobbly

The monitor combines great image quality with a wonderfully sleek design, and it offers excellent adjustability including a pivoting screen. ...These Dell Ultrasharp 1905FP 19? monitor are amazing after setting up about 20 of them at work, I have decided I would like one, from using a 17? monitor and then using a 19? monitor for a bit everything looks so much better and clearer on the 19? monitor it properly fits all the applications on the screen with plenty of room and space. Screen performance Its says that dell UltraSharp displays should deliver distortion-free images due to fast response times and rich powerful colours with up to 1000:1 contrast ratios well I can agree with that . Advanced features The Dell UltraSharp display offers an advanced feature set of height-adjustable stand, multimedia sound bar and four port USB hub. ...I ordered this from Overclockers.co.uk it cost from here £256 delivered. If I had purchased from Dell website the same monitor would have cost £310.20 and would have only come with a 3 year warranty. From Overclockers.co.uk, this monitor came with a 4 year on-site next business day warranty service provided by DELL. So this is something to bear in mind if you are in the market for one of these monitors. Prior to me owning this I owned a 17 inch TFT monitor, I had always used this with the standard VGA connection as my old monitor never had a DVI input. I was very eager to see the difference from my old monitor to the Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP as I was now in a position to be able to use DVI (the VGA and DVI cables came included with my monitor, but its worth checking with the seller to confirm this) and boy what a difference...

Big Screens!

...Dell are by far my favourite brand of computer and computer equipment. (Except printers!!!), and i wasnt disapointed when i came to buy one of their flatscreen monitors. I toyed with the idea of getting a screen as large as 19" and then toyed again when it came to choosing the ultra-sharp model, but chose to go for it anyway! The only let down that i will say about this was the ordering process - its an absolute nightmare trying to get Dell to deliver to a different address (unless the second address is registered on the credit card you used to buy it), and in the end i went and picked it up from the depot! Anyways, back to topic! The Dell monitor was easy to assemble, just a case of clipping the monitor screen onto the stand. The stand is very nice, it is the same midnight-gray colour as many of the computers you can now buy...
