...These Dell Ultrasharp 1905FP 19’ monitor are amazing after setting up about 20 of them at work, I have decided I would like one, from using a 17’ monitor and then using a 19’ monitor for a bit everything looks so much better and clearer on the 19’ monitor it properly fits all the applications on the screen with plenty of room and space. Screen performance Its says that dell UltraSharp displays should deliver distortion-free images due to fast response times and rich powerful colours with up to 1000:1 contrast ratios well I can agree with that . Advanced features The Dell UltraSharp display offers an advanced feature set of height-adjustable stand, multimedia sound bar and four port USB hub. ...The Dell UltraSharp 1707FP raises the bar on what you can expect to get from a 200 pound LCD. The monitor combines great image quality with a wonderfully sleek design, and it offers excellent adjustability including a pivoting screen. Also onboard are sensible extras such as four USB ports and an audio input. at the back of the monitor, the 1707FP has connection ports for audio, DVI-D, VGA, and one upstream and two downstream USB 2.0 ports; two more downstream USB ports are stealthily tucked into the left-hand side of the screen. I have rarely seen such an impressive assortment of connections in a 17-inch LCD. A quick-release button lets you easily remove the panel for mounting on a wall or an arm mount. ...The Dell Ultrasharp 1703FP shares the same excellent design characteristics as it's 19" counterpart, the Ultrasharp 1901FP. As is the case with the larger model, the screen orientation can be easily changed by way of tilting, swivelling and rotating to achieve the maximum in user comfort. The height extension is superior to many LCD monitors, reaching to around 5” and, to prevent the stand from becoming stretched when the screen is lifted, a vertical extension lock is fitted. The lean design of the monitor includes slanted edges at less than an inch in thickness, meaning there is little by way of unnecessary space being taken up by the unit. The 1703FP has a USB 2.0 hub fitted, with a total of four downward ports; two located below at the rear of the monitor and two positioned on the side of the monitor for easy access for those... ...I ordered this from Overclockers.co.uk it cost from here £256 delivered. If I had purchased from Dell website the same monitor would have cost £310.20 and would have only come with a 3 year warranty. From Overclockers.co.uk, this monitor came with a 4 year on-site next business day warranty service provided by DELL. So this is something to bear in mind if you are in the market for one of these monitors. Prior to me owning this I owned a 17 inch TFT monitor, I had always used this with the standard VGA connection as my old monitor never had a DVI input. I was very eager to see the difference from my old monitor to the Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP as I was now in a position to be able to use DVI (the VGA and DVI cables came included with my monitor, but its worth checking with the seller to confirm this) and boy what a difference...
