Travels with my 400D
Review of Canon EOS 400D by
HungryHungarian
Advantages: Cheap, good image quality, leading brand, good entry level camera
Disadvantages: Perhaps slightly small
...Travels with my 400D
I’ve been putting off writing this review for months and months. I’ve been waiting until I know just about as much about the camera as I possibly can, but I’ve come to the conclusion that this will never happen, so I’m just going to do it. It may also have to do with the fact that term ended on Tuesday, I have a massive amount of revision to do, and I’m procrastinating. It’s an unanswerable question.
**This is a very long review as I’m going to assume that anyone reading this knows absolutely nothing about photography, so apologies if you do and I come across as patronising. Also, as I write this, I find it’s turning into as much of a digital camera tutorial as well as a review of the 400D itself. This is the only way I can find to review the camera properly...

Canon 400d review by hrk786
Review of Canon EOS 400D by
hrk786
Advantages: 10.1 mega pixels!!
Disadvantages: cant think of any
..., Aperture priority and Manual) are accompanied by five subject-specific options, plus fully automatic for 'point and shoot' simplicity.
OTHER FEATURES!!!
EXPOSURE METERING:-
The 400D offers a choice of 35-zone evaluative, centre weighted and partial metering patterns, but there's still no spot metering.
IMAGE PROCESSING:-
Although the algorithms have been tweaked a little, the Canon EOS 400D uses the SAME DIGIC II processor as the EOS 350D to maintain speed and quality.
DUST BUSTER:-
If you want to shoot in RAW format, you can use software-based image cleaning in addition to the in-camera system via Canon's DPP software.
HANDLING!!!
The EOS 400D may replace the EOS 350D but this hasn't stopped Canon fine-tuning its design and handling as well as the specification.
Unlike its predecessor, uses a single 2.5 in LCD...

Quads R us ~ Honda 400 EX
Review of Honda Sportrax 400EX by
me_and_my_teddybear
Advantages: Fun, Fun, Fun and very Fast
Disadvantages: none
...A couple of years ago my dad and Brother started to ride Quad Bikes. At first, they only had small slow ones to get them started. At the time hardly anywhere would allow them to ride as most track were made for Motorbikes (mx) but as Quads have become such a popular thing to have over the last few years more and more places are accepting quad riders.
Now, both my Dad and Brother are not only using their quads to ride at the weekend but are now racing them in this years Quad Race's
Here's my dad's review on the 400 EX
I have been riding with some of the world Champion Quad Racers such as Paul Winrow and John Mitchell and I am absolutely loving every minute of it. Quad racing though can be very dangerous and I myself have had a fair few accidents, resulting in me going to the Hospital but all in all Quad Racing is the best sport...

zxr 400 l (Edited)
Review of Kawasaki ZXR400 by
jonnybower
Advantages: very light and nimble
Disadvantages: needs to be pushed hard to get high speeds
...I have owned the zxr400l for quite some time now and i belive it to be one of the best 400s around. It has great handling and is very low so it is good for the smaller of people it does lack power though but is what you would expect from a little 400.
Even though it doent have loads of power it can still reach high speeds. It has a limiter which i seem to remember reading somewhere that it restricts it to 135mph. I bought mine second hand and it is not standard so it can reach over 140mph maybe even faster. I still think it is one of the fastest 400s but the fzr400 seems a more powerfull bike.
For looks i would say it is nice looking it has nice curves and you've got to love the kawazaki green. My bike is fully green with a few white stickers which are not as standard but do just give it the edge.
I like the bike mainly...

Canon EOS 400D
Review of Canon EOS 400D by
montmorillonite
Advantages: Low cost entry to Digital SLR photography. Compatible with all Canon Ef and Ef-s lenses
Disadvantages: Manual exposure fiddly, Kit lens good for cost, but not high-quality
...Review EOS 400d
The canon 400D is a good camera - for the price it's a great camera. It's relatively compact; lightweight; comes with an adequate lens; has programmed settings for novices - like portrait and landscape modes; but also offers manual control of apertures, shutter speeds, white balance, ISO… so that the more experienced photographers can have fun and be a little more creative. One item to note if you are upgrading from a digital compact is that you have to use the viewfinder. The screen on the back of the camera only shows exposure information, and allows you to view photographs you have already taken. It does not let you view the scene you are about to photograph. In my opinion this is a good thing because it forces you to hold the camera properly - up against your face where it can be held steadily, instead of at arms...

Ilford Delta 400
Review of Ilford Delta 400 by
robhatfield81
Advantages: Image Quality
Disadvantages: None
...If you look at many street photographers portfolios and examine their tools, the vast majority will list Ilford delta 400 as one of their film choices. This is a great fast film which behaves very well in both low light and bright conditions.
This is a black and white film and is great if you develop your own film. Its also a good film to send to the processors but beware it will be more expensive than the normal colour film process as this cant simply be thrown through a machine.
I developed my own film in the darkroom using delta 400, it is a pretty fast film to develop, and using Ilfasol (ilfords developers) I got some great results. I compared them to pictures I had taken with my Film SLR and the black and white film was much more forgiving, I retained more detail in the dark and bright areas than I did with my digital image...

S400i
Review of Samsung S400i, mobile phone by
iamthebest1
Advantages: Good applications
Disadvantages: Can't play MP's
...--------------------------
Samsung SGH-S400i
--------------------------
Another great phone in the series of Samsung. It's the Samsung SGH-S400i. It has a sleek new look with the sliding technology that makes the phone look even better. The phone comes in one colour only, as far as I am aware of. It has a black front to the phone but the rest of the phone is a slightly lighter black or more like a metallic grey. The phone has quite a big TFT screen which has a great quality factor of 65k colour. When the phone is closed it is about three inches tall and about one and a half inches wide of which most of the measurements are took up by the screen. All that is not the screen consists of a main action button surrounded by four directional keys left, right, up and down. Then surrounding the directional keys there are five other buttons...

O2 400
Review of O2 400 12 Month by
steven3001
Advantages: All the minutes and texts
Disadvantages: Chargable Calls a bit pricey
...This is an ideal tariff for the kinda person who loves to not only talk away but text away.
Giving you 400 minutes to any mobile network and uk landlines at any time of the day. Great if you need to make a daytime call or a call to someone on a different network and ideal if your calls are not too short but not too long where you end up running out of free minutes.
400 minutes would give you around 13 minutes a day, might not sound too much but some days you might not use your mobile and then you have the minutes to use on a possible long call you may make another day.
But forget using minutes to make the calls, why not instead become a texter like 99% of the UK love to do, included within this package is a wopping 1000 texts per month worth £100.00.
Then just imagine if you used all the 400 free minutes on your daytime...

Canon Digital IXUS 400
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 400 by
PeterWolf
Advantages: Good resolution, accurate photos and easy to use; good compensation for light and speed.
Disadvantages: icons are small if you wear glasses but an acceptable compromise for the compactness; charger is separate from the main camera
...and focusing is by a simple rotating thumb control. It has a great wide-angle for closer subjects. It has a macro setting for really close subjects, down to 2 inches. Good for subjects like insects or flowers or those small objects you're putting on eBay.
The IXUS 400 is very forgiving and intelligent enough to compensate for most light and speed situations. This comes into its own for manual settings where there is good tolerance of these variable settings.
As you would expect it has the usual self-timer, flash and red-eye reduction mode, which work as well as any I've encountered. It also has 'stitch-assist' mode, useful for overlapping panoramic views of repeated shots where the wide angle can't cope. The continuous shooting mode is great fun if you want to experiment with action shots. Track and field athletics and set-pieces on goal...

CANON IXUS 400
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 400 by
Saiyan
Advantages: Slim and Small (Portable)
Disadvantages: From my experience... battery power runs out to fast and no internal memory.
...*Brand:
The Canon Ixus 400 was obviously made by Canon, one of the top leading companies known for their quality and their always upgrading technology.
*Dimensions:
The Canon Ixus 400 like stated in my advantages is very portable, the dimensions are as follows
2.0(H)x5.0(W)x8.0(D) --- cm
For someone like me who loves taking photographs and taking the camera everywhere would really enjoy this light, small camera.
*Megapixels
The Canon IXUS 400 has a remarkable megapixel of 4mb!
This means the digital camera has much better quality and sharper images then other top camera's. This also means you may wish to increase the size of your photos quite alot before losing picture quality .
*LCD Screen
The Amazing camera also has an inbuilt lcd screen on the back.
This lets the user take a picture...
