These days, it is not a fast machine, but still they are perfectly useable for many workstation and server tasks. Processor and Memory - This model has an UltraSPARC IIi processor which is, of course, 64 bit and is clocked at 360 MHz. You can have 1GB of memory in the workstation, installed as up to 4 DIMMS, which must be installed in pairs. "Normal" PC memory will not work in these workstations. The 260MHz model only has 256kB cache (same with the 270MHz processor) For better performance, you need the 2MB cache version on the 333 or 400MHz versions. ...one solid motherboard up to 360 mhz buss speed! Durable, stable, full of features, iv got the am2 longer board version, but this one is basically the same. Has cooling features for the chip sets which is handy for overcloking and it increases life span too. has special power surge protection features on it. Stable bios realeases for newer cpus and has endless overcloking options in the bios. has special options to auto overclock when in demand when in windows, you can also set it to overclock automatically by upto 10% without you having to touch any other settings, it will set the correct voltages etc. you can also set the memory to lower speeds and then overclock the cpu as the RAM increases with cpu overclocks, this is useful for when your RAM holds you back on overclokcing or when your worried about pushing your RAM too much. i set...
