The last gun survivor game here in the US came out in 2003 (RE: Dead Aim) and was actually a pretty decent offing. Umbrella Chronicles turns Resident Evil 0, REmake (the Gamecube version of Resident Evil 1), and RE3 into light gun games, and throws in an all-new location to boot. This is one nostalgic trip down blood soaked memory lane for Resident Evil fans. But people just looking for a good time will find it here as well. People who have dry skin and find that the perfume doesn't have particularly good staying power on them would benefit from using the complimentary shower gel and body lotion before applying the perfume as this would gave the scent a base to layer itself upon therefore increasing the longevity of the perfume fragrance. All peoples skin types are different and perfumes, body lotions, shower gels etc act differently on each individual because of the different oils in our skin. ...Elle has come a long way. Becoming a credible fashion magazine is a hard task, living in Vogue's shadow is a very daunting prospect. However, Elle has become a magazine in its own right now, gaining the confidence to really rate its own views and opinions. Branching from fashion and beauty into lifestyle, the magzine has become very well rounded. OK, so there are a lot of adverts in Elle. But there are a lot of adverts in other fashion magazines, it's a part of it, it HAS to be expected. In a way they're part of its charm. The magazine includes interviews with both megastars and up-and-coming stars, and as time has gone on they no longer have to rely on cramming all their features onto their cover, so there's always more in there than you expect. ...was the Umbrella tree. It really does make you think of an umbrella actually as the rosettes of leaves stick out from the centre stalk just like an umbrella. The Schefflera actinophylla comes from the South Pacific rim, very common in Australia and is known as Queensland Umbrella, although they can be found anywhere from Australia round the Pacific to South America. In their home surroundings the Schefflera can grow to 16feet. and really is a tree!. As a potted houseplant kept in the right conditions and nurtured carefully they can grow to 8feet. (Some houseplant). The Schefflera is a relatively easy plant to keep. They are very good plants if you are the sort of person who is not very good at looking after your indoor plants. ...Elle is a women’s monthly fashion glossy, which costs £3.00. It is, according to the magazine itself, ‘The biggest selling fashion magazine in the world’. I purchased this publication in April 2003, for the purpose of reading on a long car journey. I was attracted by the picture of Drew Barrymore(an actress I have grown up with and respect)on the front cover and the sheer size of it, 362 pages! Surely this magazine would provide hours of reading and entertainment? So what Features does it have? Hmm well, there’s articles about fashion models, fashion stories, fashion pictorials and I’m not talking high street fashion. In fact, before you even reach the contents page there are approximately six ads for very expensive fashion companies, Dior, Ralph Lauren Collection, Gucci, Emporio Armani etc. There is a Hot lists section... ...There's something god-given about Elle Macpherson's body. She chats to you a little about 'inner beauty' etc at the start of the workout, so you don't feel too bad as she flexes and leaps, smiling winningly at the camera. Elle's workout has been devised by Karen Voight, a pint-sized pack of muscle with excellent credentials- she was and is a trusted fitness professional with her own line of gyms, as well as academies, in LA. Apparently Elle had to gain weight for the film Sirens (no, I haven't seen it either) and she enlisted Karen to help her lose it after. It's an all-rounder, split into cardio and toning sessions, and lasts about 45 minutes. It's quite a giggle actually. It's all set in lush settings, with palm fronds, crashing oceans and so on, and Elle and Karen barely break a sweat. There are a lot of flamboyant arm movements... Read review

...I purchase ELLE magazine every month, and I am actually a fan of the magazine. However, I do feel there are some elements of the magazine that could be improved on, and I must admit it is not very good value for money. However, if you are interested in fashion, and like getting a feel for new collections and trends, it is perfect for you. I find that that is what I use it for. Although ELLE doesn't publish many articles, I do get alot of enjoyment reading the ones that are published, and they are very well written. I would definetley describe ELLE magazine as having style but no substance. The majority of the magazine is advertising. However, on occasions, you do find a couple of good music, art, theatre and film reviews in there. So I wouldn't describe it as being completely shallow.... Read review

...with most of the other big glossies. Well, what a disappointment "Elle" was. In the first thirteen pages alone, there are eleven pages of adverts - the other two are the contents pages. That should give you some idea of how much advertising is in this magazine. Looking through the contents page, you will see there is surprisingly little in the way of features for a magazine of this size - another massive clue. There are a few good, interesting articles in this month's Elle. I was particularly interested to read the "Diva Special" section about pop icons such as Kylie, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson - which was the featured front cover story that caught my eye, initially. This included an interview with each of the stars, about their careers, etc - something which is close to my heart and something I found very interesting... Read review

...Legally Blonde I went to see Legally Blonde at the cinema when I won tickets for it on the Radio. Believe me, it wasn't my preference to see this film as it sounded stupid and unfunny but what the hell, it was free. Then this year, I got Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White And Blonde as a present. The person who gave me was a bit misguided on what would be great birthday present but I forgave them. Onto the Film Legally Blonde It's about a girl called Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) who gets dumped by her boyfriend, Warner (Matthew Davis) just before he goes to Harvard so he can fit in.
