Eyes Bags & Wrinkles - BE GONE !!
Review of Eyesential Treatment for Under Eye Wrinkles by
whooperdooper
Advantages: Take 10 years years off your eyes within 5 minutes
Disadvantages: A bit pricey, but worth it
...I had seen this product on the shopping channels for a while, and thought that the results looked amazing, but was sceptical.
I finally relented and bought some a couple of months ago, and boy am I glad I did.
This product is wonderful. I applied it, as directed and patiently sat in front of the mirror expecting a miracle and that is just what I got too, before my very eyes I watched as my lines and under eye bags magically disappeared.
I can highly recommend this product and have done so to quite a few people already.
Less is most definately more when it comes to this product, make sure though you only use a very small amount, as directed, otherwise you can end up with a kind of flaky white film under your eyes, and DO NOT use on the eyelids, only under your eyes....

Reduces under eye shadows
Review of Roc Anti-Fatigue Eye Care by
BananaNoodle
Advantages: Reduces under eye shadows
Disadvantages: A little tricky to dispense and apply
...My mum started using ROC eye cream a couple of years ago and didn't tell anyone and a few months into using it I came home from uni and commented on how young her skin was looking around her eyes. She told me about ROC and so when I needed something to help treat my under eye shadows this was my first choice.
Now, there are many eye creams on the market and some of them are quite cheap - this one isn't relatively speaking. I got it on my Boots card so can't remember how much it was but I do know it was in their security packaging so it must be worth a fair bit!
The tube is about the same size as other eye creams - you only get 15mls but then you only need a very very small amount. The cream itself is a little greasy and you have to be really careful not to squeeze too much out of the tube.
Once I dabbed it around my eye area...

My experience of Laser Eye Surgery
Review of LASEK Eye Surgery by
purplelynne
Advantages: To be able to see unaided
Disadvantages: Expensive
...-Lasek. I was suitable for both of these procedures but decided to go for Epi-Lasek because it was cheaper and Lasik wasn't offered at the clinic nearest to me.
Lasik
^*^*^*
Briefly Lasik involves cutting a small layer of the cornea and lasering the surface. The flap is then repositioned and remains in place by natural suction. The process is also painfree and recovery time is a lot quicker.
The prices for Lasik are:
£925 for a single eye
£1850 for both eyes
Epi-Lasek
^*^*^*^*^*^
Epi-Lasek, sometimes known as PRK, involves lasering the surface of the cornea under the epithelium which is basically the surface skin of the eye. The epithelium is folded aside and the laser applied to the eye.
The prices for Epi-Lasek are:
£540 for a single eye
£1080 for both eyes
Epi-Lasek is suitable for people with a prescription...

Bright eyed girl
Review of Boots Revital eyes by
helenmayclark
Advantages: Cooling and soothing for tired or hung over eyes
Disadvantages: Can only use each patch once
...in the background - so presumably she's got tired eyes from travelling. It states 'Revital Eyes' in swirly joined up writing. The back of the packet has direction instruction in 5 languages.
Tearing the foil packet open, you pull out a thin plastic sheet with the eye patches attached. The eye patches are white and have a soft fleecy backing, with the soothing gel side stuck to the plastic. The patches look like oversized comedy eye brows due to their crescent shape, but they are curved like this to fit neatly under your eye. They are about 10cm long and 3cm wide.
**Directions**
The directions for use on the packet are quite brief. It simply says 'peel the patches from the backing card and place below your eyes. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes and dispose after use.'
**What I found**
I peeled the eye patches off easily from the plastic sheet one...

This one should definately be left in the dark!!!
Review of Dr Harnik Under Eye Brightener by
kiss_me2070
Advantages: Nothing
Disadvantages: Expensive, no noticable difference to dark shadows/circles,
...I am only 22 years old and suffering from low self esteem and confidence issues, I always worry about the way I look. I have noticeable dark shadows under my eyes and I remember a girl asking me what they were when I was about 17 years old, and I don't think that helped matters.
I've tried using concealer in liquids, creams and even a green coloured concealer stick/liquid to cover up noticeable patches on the face to create and even tone all over the face. None of these have really given any great effects so I thought I would try something new.
I saw this product in boots and as it cost £6.99 I though I'd give it a go as it must be pretty good.

Say... Are those MY EYES I smell burning???
Review of LASIK Eye Surgery by
SophieWehr
Advantages: Perfect vision, quick results, no more contact lenses
Disadvantages: Cost, possible problems as with all operations
...area of your eye! Your book, chocolates and wine would go to waste…
SURGERY >> My surgery was 3 years and 5 months ago now, hard to believe. I call it ‘surgery’ but honestly, it’s the same timescale as a doctor’s appointment (under 20 minutes) so although it’s a big issue mentally, the actual procedure isn’t as much. I have not had any problems at all, and I think I am part of the majority, rather than the minority these days.
I arrived at 9am, quite nervous, and was given some paperwork to sign. After reading all the small print, I was even more nervous, as you are basically signing over the rights to your eyes! I had a brief moment of indecision (as you always do when you have to make a big life changing decision) and then signed it, as I wanted to do this and knew contacts and glasses were not for me anymore.
Next I was relieved...
