As to it lasting longer thanks to this protective base coat........... well it really didn't last any longer than usual. It may well be gentle to nails and protect them from some of the harsher chemicals in standard varnishes but the colour didn't stay on longer and was no less prone to chipping, a look that I deplore. I'd rather see no nail varnish than chipped varnish!! The application was easy but as for Virgin Vie marketing the brush as being specially developed, I really couldn't see any difference between this brush and the brush of the coloured varnish I was using which was a different make. ...While everybody thinks about the exciting stuff, such as packing baby grows, nappies etc for your newborn miracle, boring and unpleasant events around the baby birth, such as bleeding and stitches, tend to be forgotten. However, when the needs comes, you should be prepared! It is so convinient to use the disposable underwear instead of cotton, regular one. You will need a change a few times a day for the first few days in the hospital, and even if you are prepared to throw away your usual underwear, disposable is still better. It is so breathable, you will not will hot. It is so thin and tender, it will not hurt your stitches. No problems with washing it as well! And also, good value for money- it will be cheaper than any conventional underwear you might buy with the intention to use it only once. The only disadvantage... Read review

...I have used these in the past, when i had very heavy periods which i still get but am not as heavy. I got so fed up of leaks as i was so heavy, that my ampons and pads never held it all in and still got horrible marks over. They aren't that easy to get out either. So i always ended up washing my underwear all the time, or they ended up in the bin too stained. So my doctor prescribed me some disposable underwear to help me. They were to wear when i was due to come on and did they help, yes they did. They turned out to be a godsend and if they got too stained no washing just chuck them in the bin, and put a new pair on. But after a few months i couldn't use them as they started too iritate me so much that i couldn't wear them. ...this talc smelling of old ladies! It isnt overpowering or too girly (I'm not known for being a girlie girl) but the smell does stay on your skin all day to give you a sensual but clean smell... if that makes any sense! *WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? Well to be honest this is the only thing I dont like, the packaging. The talc comes in a 100g pot, as pictured, but with a bit of a tacky design, bright red and yellow, not really what you might associate with 'Silky Underwear' and certainly not pride of place on my bathroom shelf. It isnt easy to open either, not to start with anyway. You have to press a section of the top inwards.. which involves nearly breaking your thumb in the process and sending clouds of the stuff into your face. ...It is not as much as year ago when I wrote about my sadness of being unable to shop at La Senza, at the time I was a G cup and the only place I could find to cater was Bravissimo, not even the department stores could help. However since this time with the help of a few gym visits and a little less chocolate I managed to lose myself a stone and get my bra size down to a much more reasonable 34F. I don't know what this size means to you out there, but to me it seems quite small after rocking a G cup (even if there is only about an inch between) it also opens up a lot of opportunity to me.
