...This is perhaps the most classic chocolate bar from my childhood. It has long been my favourite as a kid and I sort of have to say it still is so as not to feel as if I have disowned it (sorry Mars Bar but I have found other favourites - I still love you though!). 'A Mars a day helps you work rest and play' - this was the little catchphrase that was associated with Mars Bar. Funny really; it's like saying a chocolate bar a day is good for you. The slogan has now changed to 'Pleasure you can't measure' which definitely seems more appropriate. A standard Mars bar comes at 58g, about 11cm long and 1.8cm high. You'll pay about 32p for this bar in supermarkets which is well below the norm of 50p. Cookie bars????

...I bought a pack of these as it was 100% extra - 16 bars for the price of 8 and the fact that I thought they would be a treat for my daughter in her lunch box. She sometimes moans that she has too much fruit! I can't remember how much I paid for them, I could guess but I won't bother as I could be way out. I was feeling a little bit peckish one afternoon so I though I would try one, they are all individually wrapped when you open the main packet . 'Cookie bars' what does that mean to you?? Or what do you expect?? To me it means moist crumbly biscuit with lots of chocolate chips in. Damned United DVD - A damned good watch!

...It'd be interesting to see who comes out as the winner in a most hated poll between controversial ex-football manager Brian Clough and fallen giants Leeds United, considering that critics and opposing fans have expressed their hatred for both down the years. And whereas The Damned United -- a film which depicts Clough's 44-day employment at the club -- will hardly drastically alter people's opinions on either of the subjects, it is still an incredibly involving [British] drama that warrants the attention of anyone interested in football. A useful replacement for the Wii sensor bar

Advantages: A relatively cheap spare sensor bar. Good for a second TV or a quick replacement.
Disadvantages: The cable is still flimsy. Other sensor bars are even cheaper.
