Women and West Ham United
Review of West Ham United by
Salgirl
Advantages: You'll find no team more exciting
Disadvantages: Sometimes you'd gladly swap exciting for productive
...the game love it for all the same reasons that men do. The skill. The passion. The tantalizing successes.
As far as I’m concerned it is easy to support success, espcially in a club like Manchester United, and I know about that sort of motivation because initially it is why I fell for (and it’s not all that often you read “success” and my club’s name in the same sentence) West Ham in a big way.
At the tender age of 6, I was a tomboy who built tree houses, had a coveted selection of marbles and one of the best toy car collections on my estate. My indoctrination into the sport was a slow and subtle one and I was aware of football in as much as the boys at school would occasionally let me kick the ball around with them.
Then three golden idols arose to lead, what seemed to me, the entire world in a fantastic...

Where the Magic Lives - MAGIC KINGDOM
Review of The Magic Kingdom, Disneyworld by
CRAFTYDONNA
Advantages: None stop fun, Characters.
Disadvantages: Lots of walking, tired feet.
...WHAT IS MAGIC KINGDOM?
Magic Kingdom. Opened in 1971, This is a theme park based on the Disney Theme.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LOCATION
Walt Disney World® Resort is located southwest of Orlando, off Interstate 4, west of the Florida Turnpike. Follow direction to Magic kingdom, very easy once on Disney property.
Magic Kingdom is the Park that is the furthest away from the main highway and hotels.
From Disney all stars hotel and downtown disney a bus trip took approx 20 minutes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRICE
Our price was included with our hotel etc. which makes it difficult for me to say if admission is cheap or expensive. I would recommend getting all in its less hassle.

ANIMAL KINGDOM- WOW
Review of Disney's Animal Kingdom by
CRAFTYDONNA
Advantages: Educational, Fun
Disadvantages: Tired Feet
...ANIMAL KINGDOM
This is Disney newest Park, opened April 1998. A Safari Park with a difference.
Walt Disney World® Resort is located southwest of Orlando, off Interstate 4, west of the Florida Turnpike. Follow direction to Animal Kingdom, very easy once on Disney property.
You can use the Disney Resort buses to reach here from Downtown disney, Disney Hotels and other Disney Parks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Opening Times? and Admission costs?
Animal Kingdom is open all year including Christmas Day. This park doesn't stay open too late because they have to respect the animals. Opening times change from day to day so the best thing to do is check out the Disneyworld website which will give you times. Or your hotel should help you with this.

WHERE THE MAGIC NEVER ENDS
Review of Disney's Old Key West Resort, Orlando by
Newfloridian
Advantages: In the heart of the action; A Disney Vacation Club Resort
Disadvantages: You get what you pay for
...in an accommodation block they decided on selling a real estate interest to prospective vacationers. Depending on the size of the investment members were awarded points which they could trade for a variety of sizes of accommodations on a flexible basis throughout the year which was appropriate to their needs. This concept became the Disney Vacation Club (DVC).
Disney started construction of a series of accommodation units inside WDW - in the area between Disney Village and Epcot in 1992. Building continued over the course of the next four years and by the time it was complete there were 565 apartments. Although the complex itself was initially referred to as DVC, the name was changed to Disney's Old Key West Resort in the late 1990s when the concept expanded to other parts to the park. Now there are five DVC resorts in WDW (Old Key West, Boardwalk...

SECOND YEAR RUNNING AND IT WAS JUST AS GOOD!
Review of Hotel Redyk by
RICHADA
Advantages: Superb Setting. Helpful Staff. Fantastic Food. Squeaky Clean Room & En-Suite.
Disadvantages: Not for Travellers Without Transport. Disabled Access Not The Best.
...us a few days spare to play with. Unlike here in the United Kingdom, there are few places of leisure, or short break destinations, in Poland. The Poles tend to go north to the seaside or lakes, south to the mountains, or nowhere at all.
My guide book (Lonely Planet) informs me that both areas are extremely crowded and not advisable to visit in the main holiday months of July and August. Ho hum, what to do?
Oh, I did not mention that the temperature was in the mid 30's either did I? Inside a concrete block of communist era built flats, we had for two weeks experienced what it would be like to be a couple of VERY slow cooked chickens inside a rather small oven.
Having decided that a three day break would suit us both, I actually expressed but one desire to my wife: a luxurious AIR CONDITIONED hotel - situation irrelevant. My wife...

Euro-gonna like this budget hotel
Review of European Hotel, London by
MarcoG
Advantages: Great location, affordable prices
Disadvantages: Dated decor!
...frankly, yes I would…although I would try to find a better quality hotel at a ‘last minute deal’, to get a similar price. I know this is perfectly possible, as I have stayed in much nicer hotels at a similar price before. I was very content with the place…it seemed to be the ideal place for backpackers as they also have dormitories and shared bathroom facilities, lowering the price even more.
The European Hotel can be found on most websites that offer affordable accommodation in London.

Pop a Cork! - Cork International Airport Hotel
Review of Cork International Airport Hotel by
bananamanuk
Advantages: Unique, Extremely Comfortable, Location, New build, Service
Disadvantages: Maybe a little pricey
...OVERVIEW
If you are considering a trip to Ireland, one of the most popular areas to visit is around Cork. Although I've been to Ireland almost annually since a child, I'd never visited Cork until this year. The area differs enormously from the West Coast, in that there are more rolling hills, arable farming and very reminiscent of Cornwall or Devon.
On my travels I always like to stay in nice hotels, well at least the best that I can afford, and that usually entails trawling through the various travel booking engines to see which is offering the best deal. I tend to find that the airport hotels are usually slightly cheaper than those in the centre of town, and for me there is the added bonus that I can do a bit of plane spotting and photography as well!!
When booking my recent trip I came across the Cork International Airport...

A lovely hotel with some dodgy art
Review of Hotel Hansablick Garni, Berlin by
GK1976
Advantages: Fantastic location by the river
Disadvantages: No lift
...The Hotel Hansablick is a three star hotel based in a lovely 100-year old Berlin town house. It has 29 rooms over 4 floors, and was refurbished in 2005.
~~~ Location ~~~
The hotel is set in a quiet residential area right next to the River Spree. It is on the north west corner of the Tiergarten, and only a couple of tube stops to the main shops on Kurfurstendamm.
The nearest U-Bahn station is Hansaplatz (approx 4 minute walk) and the S-Bahn station Tiergarten is about a 2 minute walk. Tickets for public transport can be purchased at the reception, although I found it pretty easy to do this directly at the station, despite my limited German.
~~~ Reception ~~~
From the quiet street you enter the hotel through a large door (sometimes open, sometime you have to buzz for entry). This leads to the foot of two flights of stairs...
