Sheffield Hallam University - Banking with Finance

Advantages: good number of societies, sports, science and nursing courses are second to none.
Disadvantages: teaching standards slipped by final year, limited computers, poor print services, poor union

...Like most other reviews I've read, I can also say that Sheffield Hallam University was not originally my first choice university. I had originally chosen UWIC (Cardiff, Wales) and MMU (Manchester) as my first and insurance offers, but after taking a trip to view each of them I immediately fell in love with Sheffield. As soon as I arrived on the platform in Sheffield it felt immediately right for me, I remained apprehensive but enthusiastic. I was only to eager to explore my new surroundings and the university for that matter and made my way to the main campus just ten minutes walk away. I stepped into the glass fronted reception area in awe and felt even more that this would be the university to come to. Churchwood finance debt problems solved

Advantages: reliable friendly service that really does help
Disadvantages: you have to be working

...a poor credit history I needed some advice so I called up the help line and spoke to my advior he was very helpful he said once most of the debts had gone down and proof of regular payments were being made there are companies that work along side them that would help me finance a morgage with a poor credit history, unfortunatly the house was built on mine shafts so full payment was needed and you would struggle to sell it would be great for renting purposes. I was also told about low cost loans that they offered if I was ever going to think about borrowing money. Eventually all the creditor stop contacting me and I only receive a few bills now but in almost 3 years my debts have fell from £5000 to £1100. The only reason that these have not been paid off is because I met my current partner and he got made redundant his debts were at £7000...

I felt I must redress the balance somewhat as I have had a completely different experience with them. Intelligent Finance are a division of Halifax plc. They are solely internet based which is ideal for a lazy bones like me. Having come across a link to their website I went to investigate... Universal is linked to Islands of Adventure and we did both parks in one day due to limited time, although I'll review them separately. LOCATION: Universal Studios is in Orlando, Florida. As with most Orlando attractions it is fairly well signposted. You just need to get onto the I4, the main road through Orlando, and it is signposted off this. There is a ridiculous amount of parking available. Make sure you remember which character and which number you are parked in otherwise you'll be searching for that rental car for hours! Disadvantages: Having to deal with company in Gibraltar for complaints

...My experience with Freedom Finance has been completely different and after searching the internet so many others too. I took out a loan with them and had a complaint that I assumed would be dealt with by them as I thought it was them that I took the loan out with from their homepage. Apparently, they process loans on behalf of a company called Bespoke Finance who are based in Gibraltar and unless you want to be dealing with some other country throughout your complaint then I suggest you steer clear. In their smallprint it states "Freedom Finance process loans on behalf of Bespoke Finance." When making the complaint it is then passed to Gibraltar where this Bespoke Finance is based. Remember to read the smallprint and don't get caught like i did....

...I would not recommended this Uni, and would definitely think twice before spending or going into dept to get a degree from Westminster University. Getting the right degree from a good University these days is very important and Westminster University cannot provide it (again based on my experience). Last week that book was the Great Universal Spring Summer 08 edition allowing you until the 17th August 2008 to make your purchase. "Spread the cost with affordable payment options," screams the green circle of text on the lower left hand side of the page. Flicking through I am amazed at how expensive catalogue clothes have actually got compared to the same items in the high-street. ...I've been here getting on for around a week now and I must say that I have had an excellent time so far. Before accepting the offer to go Worcester I travelled to it to investigate it and to see if it was for me. After travelling around some of the other universitys that I got into I came to the conclusion that this one was more for me conpared to any of the others.
