...We are regular travellors to Florida, and Universal studios is one of our must see attractions, particularly now that the new park 'Islands of Adventure' is now open, the rides are great,the shows such as the Wild West Show, Beetlejuice and Famous TV & Film Animals are excellent, the general atmosphere whilst in the studios is brilliant..... my wife loves back to the future ride, my favourite is Terminator 3 ..but there are others rides which are just as much fun such as, Jaws, earthquake, Twister and Congfrontation.... Universal Studios in our opinion offers more than Disney MGM ( although Disney MGM is good) but it is all a matter of personal preference.. You'll love the lookalike actors that walk, drive and parade around the park, and you can also have breakfast with the cartoon characters which is really good fun and gets...

Universal Studios Orlando>>> Best Holiday

Advantages: Really uncrowed at nights, Has alot of attractions, really sunny, cheaper than Disney World
Disadvantages: Really crowed through the days, the gifts can be dear $$$

...My Holiday in 2008 to Universal Studios Orlando When I first went into the Citywalk I thought that this park was going to be no good. Id rather have Disney. But when I got into the Universal I changed my mind it was great they had alot attractions! They were nearly all Simulators or Shows except for Woody the Woodpecker and the Revenge of the Mummy. <<<Rides & Shows>>> The rides where quite good in Universal they had Disaster Studios which was a show/Ride where you went into a room with an actor kind of and 10 or 11 people acted out a disaster and then they brought you on a tram and brought you under ground and more disaster happened and then it show you on a screen you acting out the disaster and on the tram! Then there was Shrek 4D where you were on a horse trying to saw Shreks wife Fiona, And the chairs moved and shrek...

...I visited in april but going again in February 2009. We are travelling from Manchester airport with virgin atlantic and staying on international drive. We found that there were plenty to do. We didn't ride the big thrill rides as I'm disabled but did all the shows as well as the other rides. With the water areas for the children and the playgrounds for them to play. It was very hot when we went and always used sun protection with my sun hat as well as taking on water to keep us cool going round the park. If you love the theme parks then you will love universal studios as the park is for the young and old and with two parks in one with islands of adventure with some new rides with the new simpsons ride what has just opened instead of the back to the future ride which closed months ago then you have all the other rides like jaws, men in...

...Yet another stop on my tour of Florida's theme parks with three of my friends was Universal Studios. Universal is linked to Islands of Adventure and we did both parks in one day due to limited time, although I'll review them separately. LOCATION: Universal Studios is in Orlando, Florida. As with most Orlando attractions it is fairly well signposted. You just need to get onto the I4, the main road through Orlando, and it is signposted off this. There is a ridiculous amount of parking available. Make sure you remember which character and which number you are parked in otherwise you'll be searching for that rental car for hours! ...Universal Studios is like stepping into a movie set of all times as you enter the park you will also see the cinema on your right hand side as you walk down the main city walk entrance with hard rock cafe and the nightclubs and the resturants and thats even before you hit the gates to get into the park. ...First of all only buy passes if u intend to go to Seaworld otherwise it is just not worth it. Staying in a hotel there are plenty of money off flyers to be had. With the subway linking Universal Studios with Downtown Los Angeles this should help those who want to avoid being ripped off by the tours. Universal Studios opens at 9am. The maps are quite simple to understand. As soon as you head towards the rides you will be asked for your picture to be taken and of course will have to pay the obligatory dollars for it later.We found that the Jurassic Park ride did not open until 10 am so we headed for Back to the Future first. Day out to Universal studios Hollywood

Advantages: Is brilliant for rides and familys to visit.
Disadvantages: The park is on a hill and its hard to access the lower parts.

...In the summer, we decided to go to universal studios. We drove through the entrance, we decided to get an average parking ticket, not the $8 one which was the closer car park. We found that there was a tiny walk through some shops that was, nothing hard at all. I would definitely recommend going for the cheaper car park. We had not bought a ticket in advance and ended up joining a very slow cue to buy our tickets. Once we were in though it was fine. We first went to the lower park where we went on the big rides. They were amazing! I would recommend going there early because, when we got there the cues were tiny but later on in the day they grew by about half an hour. We decided not to buy a fast track ticket and we didn't regret it. In the park its really easy to plan where to go because everywhere there are signs telling you...

Halloween at Universal Studios

Advantages: Like no other place at Halloween, amazing
Disadvantages: Not particularly suitable for kids, but I still enjoyed it when I was 9

...Although I have been to Universal Studios on a non-Halloween day, when everything is "normal", I will try to concentrate as much as I can on what it is like at the spooky time of year. As we all know, American's go mad for Halloween, and this is really reflected at Universal Studios. The first time I went there on Halloween, I was 9 years old, with my mum and my dad. Although Universal does say that a lot of it might not be suitable for youngsters, I was still allowed in. You are searched at the entrance for knives, etc. This is because the usual characters are transformed into chainsaw/axe murderers, and chase unsuspecting members of the public around the park!! So the security are very tight on people not bringing weapons in, and acting like the trained characters. The usual tv characters that you might see during the day...
