...The very classic and original Uno game that is known all around the world for the very popular and addicting card game. Xbox decided to copy this game exactly into a game which is fantastic! First of all my first impression was not a very good one, but as time went on and I played new people over Xbox live it does get quite exciting. Usually if I play the card game as A family there would be laughs and things said, but do not worry you are able to talk to people in the Xbox live community and have they laughs you do with your family. If you have your Xbox 360 headset then you can communicate easily and have they fun sayings your family used to when you were playing with them. ...A friend gave me a gift the other day, it was Uno, she obviously thinks I don't have enough card based entertainment in my life. It wasn't however the first time I had seen these funny coloured cards. It was a firm family favourite during my younger years and often played sat around my Grandma's dining room table. On many a Sunday afternoon the shouts and cheers could be heard from Auntie Doreen's house 3 doors down. "For goodness sake Mum, how many times do we have to tell you the rules" was a favourite saying or "Grandma a 4 does not follow a 6". I personally think that my Gran knew full well how to play, she just couldn't be bothered and would rather play dumb, so that eventually she'd be asked to leave. ...Recently I've been playing a lot of games and after exhausting several card games and getting bored with them I realised I had a pack of Uno cards still sealed from last year. I'd bought a new pack for holiday after having played the game as a child and remembering how much fun we used to have playing it. The cards went all that way and got forgotten about in the bottom of my suitcase though. So until recently it was shoved in a corner in my room. I'm so glad that I opened it though as it's given us hours of fun. So what is Uno? Uno is a simple card game, which can be played by all members of the family. The rules are easy to pick up and it only takes a couple of games to grasp the rules. Uno states that those aged 7 and above should be able to play this game. ...I was given a Russell Hobbs 11299 Uno Uno coffee-maker for Christmas. It was a completely unexpected gift. What was even more unexpected was just how good the coffee made by this machine is! The coffee-maker is sleek and attractively designed. It has a very small footprint and therefore takes up little workspace in the kitchen (or better still in my study!). It really looks the part. To set up is simplicity itself. You fill the easily removable water container on the back to the "maximum" line, refit the container and then switch on the machine with the button at the front. This pre-heats the water. You then select your uno uno coffee pod - 5 of the "Love at First Sip" pods come with the machine - open the lid and place the pod in the round receptacle inside. ...The Uno achieved rave reviews in 1983 on it`s launch for its looks, all round abilities and tremendous engines which had a good mix of reliability, performance and economy. Inside the Uno offered space and outside the Uno offered some style. Having owned around 7 of these cars I can honestly say this is true - I don`t think the cars have dated too badly, particularly the Mk1 version - still quite chic, 20 years from its launch. The mark 2 was less stylish but offered a somewhat improved sense of quality and comfort. The 1.1 engine changed 3 times during the Uno`s career. 1 - the 1116cc engine lifted straight from the Fiat 128. This was a tried and tested unit very similar to the 1.3 version in the 70BHP Uno`s. ...OK firstly let me tell you how I started playing Uno, it was many may years ago when I was about 11 and my Mum was unable to afford the cost of a TV licence (insert your own violin music and stories of when I was young we were so poor I had to .....)anyway my Mum being the law abiding citizen that she is decided to cut the plug off the TV and store it in the airing cupboard wrapped in blankets !!!!!! After a few days and nights my Mum was being driven round the bend trying to entertain 5 children so she decided to go out and buy a game for us, the game she returned with was Uno. I was devistated, at 11 I was into frustration, and operation or any other games that made loud popping or buzzing noises, but very soon I was addicted, I picked up the rules quickly and have never looked back, I still play it now any chance I get. This product is produced by Mattel which is a trustworthy company who have provided many toys for children over the years. This game is no exception as it is enjoyable and fun. ...I have worked with children for the last few years, and have realised over the time, the one game none of the kids will tire of is Uno. Uno is a basic card game using the same principle as the game Whot did back in my day. The pack consists of four different colours, red, green, blue and yellow, each containing a number, nought through to nine. The rules state you play in a clockwise direction and have to match the last persons card with either the same number, or colour as was dealt. The idea of the game is to be the first to get rid of all your cards to be declared the winner.
