...I have always been a big fan of Tattoo art work, and I often caught an odd episode here and there of Miami Ink on Discovery Real Time and quite enjoyed the show. Having only seen about 7 episodes of the TV show which were all from either season two or three, I decided to browse the internet to see if I could pick up a cheap season 1 box set on DVD, I was quite expecting to pay about £30-40 for the box set because there are 20 episodes in total for series one of Miami Ink. I was browsing the internet for the box set looking for the cheapest price available and found that Play.com was the cheapest by far. I only paid £12.99 for the box set which is almost three times cheaper than some other online retailers selling the Miami Ink box set as they were all priced well above £30. ...I purchasd this this third part ink cartridge whilst out shopping in my local Tesco store for just under £3 which seemed like a bargain so i thought i'd give it a go. I've used other third party ink cartridges in the past so thought i'd try this one out too since Tesco seem to make everything now. As with all third part ink cartidges,the initial prints are good and of acceptable standard considering that they can cost up to 90% less than the genuine original ink cartidiges. However as you print out a few more,mthe quality degrades considerably and you'll also notice that the ink does not last as long as the original ones do. The print outs are also prone to smudging and take ages to dry properly compared to the originals and the ink dries up faster if you haven't used them for a long time. ...I have used InkFactory six times over the last couple of years and been really impressed by their speed of service. I use a Canon Pixima 6600D printer and InkFactory have the best prices for genuine cartridges that I can find, although these prices do seem to vary with the photo cartridges sometimes a different price ot the non-photo. Goods arrive well packaged in sturdy cardboard packaging and so I really cannot fault them. The order tracking seems easy to use and if something is out of stock they will forward the in stock items straight away and then send the rest of the order when in stock at no extra cost. If you sign up for the e-mail newsletter they will send details of offers - but none have come through for my Canon cartridges yet!... Read review

...MY HISTORY WITH INK CARTRIDGES: From the time I bought my first printer, I have really had nothing but problems when it has come to keeping them supplied with ink! The brand named cartridges generally contain less ink for your money and so they need either need replacing more frequently, or you pay considerably more. My first printer, an Epson, was bought along with bottles of refill ink and a syringe to inject each colour into the colour cartridge, and a bottle of black for the other one. The salesman in PC World assured me it was easy… well it was the first time, apart from the mess! then the second time I just flooded the printer, and I had to buy new cartridges. My second printer a Lexmark, had the same thing happen and I eventually scrapped it! Now I have a HP PSE 1317 inkjet 3 in 1, and I love it, but the ink cartridges... Read review

...Hey ho. How surreal to be reviewing ink. Does anyone else do this? Why am I sitting here at 10 o\'clock at night reviewing an ink cartridge? Do I love it? No. Err.......have I had an unusual and vaguely witty experience with this cartridge? Not really. Was I bored and thought I\'d go do a review about the first thing I found that I owned and hey look........2 pound signs!!! Woo! That\'ll be it. To be fair, I use a lot of these things here and at work (see scintillating review of canon i550) so I suppose I\'m as qualified as anyone. It\'s good ink - of course it is. Canon would not be popular if their branded ink was pants. It has super coverage and definatly stands proud where you compare it to the compatibles. The actual name of this cartridge is the brother lc 600C, obviously then this only fits inside of brother printers and there is also a limit to what brother printers this one can actually go into. You can use this cartridge with any of brothers MFC 3100C, MFC 3200C, MFC 3200J, MFC 3220, MFC 3320, MFC 3420, MFC 3820, MFC 580, MFC 590, MFC 880, MFC 890, MFC 5100C, MFC 5100J, MFC 5200C, MFC 5200J. It also works with brothers 1800C fax machine too. The great thing about brother ink is not only is it great quality and can get you some great prints as well as some great quality photos with normal ink like this, but the best thing is how cheap it is.
