...upholstery, stairs etc, care must be taken when using this, make sure not to catch anything such as hidden objects,fingers, tassles etc as the brushes rotate at a high rate and could cause serious damage. I have found myself at risk from repetitive strain injury due to constantly having to bend down and pick up the tools which have a tendency to fall off, and paintworks have taken a slight bashing due to tools catching them due to the awkward angle they are stored at on the side of the vacuum cleaner. I would seriously not recommend this hoover to anyone with loose rugs and wood flooring as it is powerful and makes hoovering edges of rugs a problem. Much to my dismay, I have also found many scratches in my wood flooring caused by the hoover which will not polish out even though i have risked further back injuries by stooping up n down... ...I purchased this vacuum from a local retailer on their recommendation and have been thoroughly pleased with my purchase. After having a well known bagless cleaner previously but not able to afford to replace with the same I considered other options with the thought that a less expensive cleaner would mean compromising in some way. I have found this cleaner to be wonderful. We have two long haired dogs but the cleaner picks up with ease. There is a switch on top of the main body of the machine so easily in reach during cleaning which allows for easy on off control of the brushes for changes in floor surfaces. I originall wondered if the capacity of the dust collection compartment would become a pain as it appeared quite small but again i have been pleasantly surprised to find that with it's simple release i actually don't find... Advantages: bagless, long flexible pipe attached, very long lead, good at getting up pet hairs

...This cleaner arrived in a box in three pieces, the instructions were not very clear but the pieces were simple enouch to work out how they should be assembled. On first use the main thing noticed was the noise, this is not a quiet vacuum for when the children are in bed. The turboforce and rotating brushes were brilliant at lifting the pile and picking up the pet hairs, fantastic i thought, but shame abouth the sound. The cable is very long so from one room to the next it is very easy to move without having to relocate the power supply. All was well although with such good pick up the waste container was soon ready for emptying. This can be a messy task as the filter needs taking out and manually tapping until it is clear of debris. My old vacuum just stopped working so I had a browse through the catalogue to see what caught my eye. We have got two dogs and so a bagless cleaner with filters that can be cleaned is the way to go, hairs clogg it all up, I think this Is what happened to my last one. ...this is a great hoover,its designed with pets in mind as it is great at getting all the hair up off floors of all types. I was a little dissapointed at first when i got my hoover in its box as i did'nt realise i would have to put it together myself,but it was really quite easy and had great simple instructions to fit it together. advantages ************* has a setting knob on it witch is for different floor types example- deep carpet,medium carpet,wood&laminate also has a washable filter and is bagless,but the best suprise for me was that i had with my cleaner a spare filter,spare belt and 4 sachets of pet air freshners witch you put in the cleaner.it also has a variable power slide depending on how much power you want your cleaner to use bits and peices ***************** you get all the relative peices for it,hose pipe... ...As I've mentioned several times in recent reviews just over 18 months ago I moved into my first home. Initially we made do with a very cheap, low powered vacuum that we were kindly given but it wasn't long before the need to repeatedly go over the same area numerous time meant that it just had to go ! We had already decided that we wanted an upright model as we would undoubtedly constantly trip over a cylinder model and we had also pretty much set our sights on a bagless model as these don't loose suction (traditional 'bagged' models loose suction as the bag fills up). Also as our home has both carpets and laminate flooring it needed to have an adjustable head and be relatively powerful as some of the carpets seem to grip fluff as well as, if not better than Velcro.
