...When I go out I like my eyes to get all the attention, being my best feature they look their best when played up with a really brightly coloured eyeshadow. I usually go for cheaper make up to be honest but have been hankering after some of the Urban Decay Eyeshadow for quite a while after I was admiring a friends eyeshadow and she told me it was Urban Decay and also after I spotted what gorgeous colours they do in their range. At approximately £10.50 for a 1.5g tablet though I had felt they were quite expensive and couldn't really justify spending that amount of cash on them. Urban Decay - unrivalled for eye shadows!

Advantages: Long lasting, intense colours, beautiful packaging, everything!
Disadvantages: Expensive

...I always used to be the girl that would buy the cheapest make-up I could find. I don't tend to wear much make-up, but I've always loved eye shadows. I kept buying my cheap eye shadows, which would look great when I'd just applied them, but by the end of a night out it would all disappear and you could barely tell I'd put any on in the first place! Urban Decay doesn't decay

Advantages: They last for ages, they are lovely colors and easy to apply.
Disadvantages: They are quite expensive.

They are quite expensive, but I am a student and haven't really got that much cash, and if you like Urban Decay anyway then they are well worth your money, especially if they last over 2 years, I am predicting they may even last another 2 years for me....let's just hope glitter doesn't go out of fashion eh? The price for this product is between £15-£25 depending on where you buy them from, normally the internet is slightly cheaper and the only high street stores that sell Urban Decay is BOOTS and Debinhams. Shimmer and sparkle with Urban Decay eyeshadows

Advantages: Animal friendly, excellent quality, loads to choose from
Disadvantages: Not widely available in the UK

...After discovering more about the horrific practice of cosmetic (and indeed the other kinds) testing on animals, I have sought brands that strictly do not test their cosmetics or ingredients on animals. So far I have chosen my 3 favourite animal-friendly brands which are: The Body Shop, Barry M and Urban Decay. All 3 can be found on the BUAV (British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection) web-site as being approved by the Humane Cosmetics Standard so are totally cruelty-free. However, since this opinion is only about Urban Decay eyeshadows I will tell you more about them. ...Although I have not owned my Ammo box for very long, I would like to review it because of its range of colours/value for money. First things first. This box retails in the UK (from the 'net, larger Boots and most Debenhams) for approx £20. I bought mine brand new off ebay for £15, but the included applicator was missing. No worries. It comes in a plastic sleeve with a card showing colours and information such as ingredients and the big Urban Decay winner for me..NO ANIMAL TESTING (then again, I won't even look at a brand till I know that they don't test on animals) The compact is just that, but I was dismayed because it was much smaller than what I was expecting (it measures roughly 12 x 9cm) but I guess this makes it handy to shove in a make-up bag and especially good if you are travelling. ...The Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion truly is one of my make up staple products, it does exactly what it says in the product description and enhances eye makeup to the full! The potion retails at approx £9.50, i bought mine from boots.com therefore receiving 4 points per pound using my advantage card, so i received 40 points. It is available from an abundant amount of online retailers as well as from urban decay boutiques located within stores such as fenwicks and the larger boots stores. The packaging is very quaint with the bottle being shaped as a potion, almost in a genie type genre. The bottle remains small enough to be carried in a handbag, although i find the primer never needs to be applied more than once so you probably wont need to carry it all the time. As a fine art graduate/bit of a hippy I love experimenting with my eye make-up and believe that Urban Decay products really offer the spectrum of colours and quality to be able to do this.
