Urban Decay Lust Glide On Pencil review
Review of Urban Decay Lust Glide On Pencil by
Girlyshop
Advantages: Blendable colour with secret sparkles
Disadvantages: Sharpening may be an issue
...Urban Decay Lust Glide On Pencil review by Girlyshop.
Urban Decay have created some fantastic pencils in their time and this gorgeous purple shade is no exception.
It's not as vibrant as the colour on the outer casing of the pencil suggests, but it's still a really nice, bold colour.
The eyeliner texture is really soft but not waxy. The end of the pencil is quite rounded, so not for very thin lines. It goes on easily and if you blend it almost immediately you can achieve a smokey eyes look. If you leave it for the recommended 30 seconds it won't budge without makeup remover. It's soft enough to apply over the eyelid AND another nice feature of this eyeliner is if you apply and leave for a minute, then run your finger gently over the colour, light sparkles appear. The sparkles don't appear if you just apply and don't touch it...

Urban Decay Zero to Hero
Review of Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils by
clairebear7
Advantages: Easy application, long lasting, quick removal
Disadvantages: All my friends want to borrow it!
...Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil Eyeliner
I first tried Urban Decay last year ( I can't believe it took me so long) and was generally impressed with the quality of the products and the range of colours available. I had been hooked on Boots Botanics eyeliner for years when suddenly, they stopped making it! I jumped from brand to brand, trying about 5 or 6 different eyeliners until I found this gem from Urban Decay.
The eyeliner comes in 12 different colours, but I opted for Zero, which is basically black. It cost £9 from Boots, and you can also buy online. The first time I bought this product, I lost it on a night out and I was genuinely upset, over an eyeliner! I went right out and bought another.
The application of the liner is generally foolproof. After you apply it to the eyes, it stays 'moveable' for 30 seconds, meaning...

Urban Decay - unrivalled for eye shadows!
Review of Urban Decay Eyeshadow by
queendebbie
Advantages: Long lasting, intense colours, beautiful packaging, everything!
Disadvantages: Expensive
...the right colours, they choose the best ingredients to make their cosmetics of the highest quality to keep their loyal customers. They state that their eye shadows never crease.
Now, onto the eye shadows...
If you've never tried their eye shadows before, a good place to start is their 'Face Case' or one of their shadow boxes. These are collections with some of their most popular colours in, and a new one usually comes out each year. I started out with a Face Case, have collected every shadow box ever since and almost exclusively use Urban Decay eye shadow now. The first time I used their eye shadow it just seemed to glide on, and as they say a little bit does go a long way. The colours are really intense too, and definitely last all night. If you do pick up a shadow box or two, it will probably last you quite a long time - I still have mine...

Make everyone else green with envy :P
Review of Urban Decay Covet Glide On Pencil by
niamh1988
Advantages: Creamy, Bright, Soft, EVERYTHING
Disadvantages: Price? But it's so WORTH IT!
...I love this eyeliner. Green being my favourite colour I wear a lot of it, and find this good even for everyday wear if you're feeling a bit brave.
It gives a very bold line but is very soft - there's no need to press hard unlike when using some eyeliners!
It goes blunt fairly quickly but sharpens back up well, and people always comment when I'm wearing it because it really does draw attention to your eyes. It makes a nice change from black - I own it on its own in a single pack but also in a group pack of smaller eyeliner pencils in a group of colours. I recommend every single one - purple, blue/turquoise, goldy/orange, black and this green.
The eyeliner may seem a tad expensive for just a little pencil but in my opinion, as a bit of an urban decay addict, is that it's definately worth it.
Really, for me, there are no downsides!...

Eye love this!
Review of Urban Decay Zero Glide On Pencil by
xxsupergirlxo
Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Nothing so far
...This is one of my favourite makeup products of all time, and by far my favourite eyeliner.
The link to the picture at HQhair.com, seeing as dooyoo don't have a picture yet ---> http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/247EyePencil. cfm
**Looks**
Long pencil with '24/7 GLIDE ON PENCIL' on the side, along with the name of its colour and the majority of the pencil in the colour it is, with silver metal cap and silver bottom of pencil. Small enough to fit in any makeup bag and discrete enough to sneak into a school pencilcase undetected, people (including parents and teachers) just think it's a pencil!
**Use**
Does what it says on the tin, it glides so smoothly and perfectly it feels gorgeous. So super easy to apply and looks great when applied. Very soft and goes on in an even line, unlike some hard and dry eyeliner pencils...

Urban Decayed.
Review of Urban Decay Nail Graffiti by
heatherrr13
Advantages: glossy, not tested on animals
Disadvantages: chips very easily
...I have a bottle of Urban Decay nail varnish in Black. I needed some black nail varnish, and I decided to go for Urban Decay because I'd heard good things about some of their other products.
Urban Decay was launched in January 1996, rebelling against a cosmetics World filled with pink. They launched their first campaign under the slogan "does pink make you puke?" It is a popular brand, known for its alternative colours and trends.
Urban Decay are one of those brands that spend time thinking about the desig of their products and packaging. The nail varnish comes in a thick glass pot, which contains 10ml of varnish, I'm not sure exactly but it looks as if it contains about the same as other brands' nail varnishes. Like I said, the glass seems very thick and doesn't seem like it would break easily at all so that's reassuring. You can...

Not Necessarily Urban, But it DOES Decay. Fast.
Review of Urban Decay Nail Enamel by
jess0910
Advantages: Nice bottle. That's about it.
Disadvantages: Expensive, chips extremely easily, very smelly.
...’Oreal or Rimmel, I would treat myself to a posh, expensive nail varnish. Enter Urban Decay.
At £8.50 for a standard size bottle, Urban Decay was definitely one of the pricier nail varnishes on the counters – not to mention the only range that had a shade that matched my dress exactly, so I didn’t really have much of a choice! But I was treating myself and, in effect, not actually paying any money for it, so I bought it.
I will not be buying it again.
The bottle is pretty cool, I must admit. It’s chunky glass and fairly heavy for a nail varnish bottle, and isn’t plastered in lots of Euro-instructions as I find most things are these days. In fact, there is no actual label on the bottle – all the writing on it (which isn’t much) actually seems to have been sprayed right on to the glass, which looks very smart and smooth. The front...

One of Urban decay's worst!
Review of Urban Decay XXX Shine by
tuttifruity
Advantages: Staying power, really glossy
Disadvantages: Shoddy packaging, a bit sticky.
...Urban Decay say:
Shine on, bright stars... XXX Shine Cooling Lip Gloss combines a zip of peppermint with lots of shine to create a super-sassy lip treat that's definitely got some spark to it-- your lips will actually tingle! With one minty slick, lips are left lustrous and cool, and breath is instantly refreshed-- a guaranteed recipe for a little canoodling.
-Go to www.urbandecay.com for more info
On to my review...I bought the Urban Decay XXX Shine gloss a while ago from ebay
as the price was good and I have always loved Urban Decay for their unique, stylish products and wide range of colours. As it was Urban Decay I presumed it would be of a fairly high quality similar to their other products. But I was really disapointed with this lipgloss :(
This lipgloss is presented in a see-thru tube, like lancome's juicy tube...

Urban Decay Hot Box review
Review of Urban Decay Hot Box Mini Makeup by
Girlyshop
Advantages: All essentials in one very small kit
Disadvantages: Kit looks like a cig lighter, not really good for teens
...Urban Decay Hot Box mini makeup set review by Girlyshop.
Hmmm, wasn't too sure about this product for a number of reasons. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Urban Decay products, however a cigarette lighter full of makeup? Urban Decay's target audience is teens to later twenties, so seeing as these are the girls that health authorities world-wide are trying to encourage NOT to smoke, giving them an item related to smoking seems a bit, well, odd. Anyway, I don't like the packaging, full stop.
Contents are another matter. A mini concealer, a mini mascara, a mini mirror, XXX Shine Gloss in shade CARNEY and Smog Eyeshadow. These kinds of products are what most makeup wearers use on a regular basis and the colours are ones that will suit just about anyone. The Concealer is fair and comes with a sponge applicator. The mascara is black...

Shimmer and sparkle with Urban Decay eyeshadows
Review of Urban Decay Eyeshadow by
Weeping_Willow
Advantages: Animal friendly, excellent quality, loads to choose from
Disadvantages: Not widely available in the UK
...After discovering more about the horrific practice of cosmetic (and indeed the other kinds) testing on animals, I have sought brands that strictly do not test their cosmetics or ingredients on animals. So far I have chosen my 3 favourite animal-friendly brands which are: The Body Shop, Barry M and Urban Decay. All 3 can be found on the BUAV (British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection) web-site as being approved by the Humane Cosmetics Standard so are totally cruelty-free. However, since this opinion is only about Urban Decay eyeshadows I will tell you more about them.
They are gorgeously packaged in silver "tins" and boxed (recycled packaging) but as soon as you see the many colours available, you want them all! They are so versatile as they can be worn dry, to give a subtle shimmer and sheen or can be used wet, to give...
