When I feel heavy metal
Review of Urban Decay Liquid Metal Eyes by
Weeping_Willow
Advantages: Great coverage; lives up to its claims; fairly unique; metallic; long lasting
Disadvantages: A teeny bit pricey but worth it!
..., cascaded down my face). I have to say that this lasts for absolutely hours. I could quite happily apply some first thing in the morning and it looks just as good 8 hours later as when I first applied it. This is great because I am not the sort of person who likes having to constantly reapply my makeup. Due to its great ability to cover well, it will not go streaky or crease as some lesser brands are inclined to do. Also, it is incredibly versatile as if the thought of highly metallic eyes doesn’t really appeal except for special occasions; you can use a wet eyeliner brush (providing you have a steady hand) and use it as liquid eyeliner. I wouldn’t go so far as to say the possibilities are endless but there are certainly more ways of applying it than most.
The Urban Decay Liquid Metal Eyes are only available in 5 shades, the names of which...

i'm a Heavy Metal convert!
Review of Urban Decay Mullet Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner by
indie.rock.and.roll
Advantages: Fantastic sparkle, stays on all day, great for going from day to night
Disadvantages: A little pricey but to be fair, it last ages
...Wowza! That is the first thing you think as soon as you've applied this eyeliner, it makes an impact and a half, i love it!
So, i've not used much of the urban decay range much, to be honest the price has always put me off a bit. But when i walked past the stand in Boots a couple of months ago, i thought i'd just have a quick browse and ended up buying this badboy!
so for about £11, it was pricey, but i gave it a go anyway! I had fallen in love with the colour and nothing could keep me from taking it home and trying it out...
And what an impression it made!
So much sparkle! You definately get your money's worth out of this little tube of glitter it is amazing!
Perfect for travelling from day to night, here's what i did -
Put it in my bag for going to work, after applying a thin line along my upper lashes for a bit of subtle...

Not Necessarily Urban, But it DOES Decay. Fast.
Review of Urban Decay Nail Enamel by
jess0910
Advantages: Nice bottle. That's about it.
Disadvantages: Expensive, chips extremely easily, very smelly.
...’Oreal or Rimmel, I would treat myself to a posh, expensive nail varnish. Enter Urban Decay.
At £8.50 for a standard size bottle, Urban Decay was definitely one of the pricier nail varnishes on the counters – not to mention the only range that had a shade that matched my dress exactly, so I didn’t really have much of a choice! But I was treating myself and, in effect, not actually paying any money for it, so I bought it.
I will not be buying it again.
The bottle is pretty cool, I must admit. It’s chunky glass and fairly heavy for a nail varnish bottle, and isn’t plastered in lots of Euro-instructions as I find most things are these days. In fact, there is no actual label on the bottle – all the writing on it (which isn’t much) actually seems to have been sprayed right on to the glass, which looks very smart and smooth. The front...

Glittery Eyes!
Review of Urban Decay Glam Rock Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner by
DeniseKelly40
Advantages: Lasts a long time
Disadvantages: Very pricy
...Urban Decay - Heavy Metal Glittery Eyeliner (Glam Rock)
**WHAT IT DOES**
This is an eyeliner, which is glittery. It has a small brush so you can line your eyes with glitter with precision.
**PACKAGING**
It comes in a very sturdy small tube, which is waterproof. This tube can fit into your handbag very easily and is not much bigger than a lipstick. It could withstand being dropped and knocked around a bit without breaking. You can see the silver glitter instantly once you look at it and this is what attracted me to it in the first place, as the plastic is clear and see-through. On the front if you look closely there is the Urban Decay logo with a picture of a guitar all in grey, it is hard to notice with all the glitter in the background. There is a grey screw off lid, which is also a small brush to apply the eyeliner. It has...

Get glittered up!
Review of Urban Decay Baked Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner by
LiviaLavelle
Advantages: Stays on for hours and looks fabulous
Disadvantages: Must let it dry before looking up or it will transfer onto to upper lid!
...Urban Decay is an expensive brand. But price usually means one of two things, rip off or high quality. In the case of this range it's definitly High Quality. I recieved this Urban Decay Backed Heavy Metal Liner for Christmas last year. And ever since it has been my ultimate going out liner.
You can cake it on for clubbing, or lightly paint it for a more formal occasion. You can use it a glittery coating on top of mascara and create fabulous flicks as well.
You may have come across other glitter eyeline brands and may have found similar results to me. Most are just piece of glitter in a glue that get in your eyes and run half way down your face. Well not this one, it sticks on your eyes for at least a day and is more than enough for an evening out.
There are a number other fantastic shades of this liner (blue, silver, green...

No decay in this product!!
Review of Urban Decay Eyeshadow Cream by
neenn
Advantages: Lovely liquid eyeshadow with a hint of sparkle!
Disadvantages: The outer packaging doesn't reflect the cost!
...chosen. Not surprisingly it's a screw top and at the end of the handle there is a little sponge area to apply the cream, very much like a lot of lip gloss applicators.
~ Range of colours available ~
* Five-o (metallic baby blue)
* Knee-high (bronze)
* Pink flamingo (pink with microsparkle)
* White lightening (smooth, snow white)
* Foxy (peach)
* Midnight cowboy (shimmery beige)
* Purple haze (purple with a blue shift)
* Go Army! (cargo green with microsparkle)
* Moonshine (silver with silver sparkle)
* Shag (dusty rose)
~ What do Urban Decay Promise?~
The colours stay put and fresh all day long and well in to the night without any creasing.
~ My Experience ~
The applicator means that the cream can be applied very easily and with accuracy.
I have the Foxy and Moonshine colours. The Moonshine is silver with very...

Shimmer and sparkle with Urban Decay eyeshadows
Review of Urban Decay Eyeshadow by
Weeping_Willow
Advantages: Animal friendly, excellent quality, loads to choose from
Disadvantages: Not widely available in the UK
...a dramatic and high impact metallic wash. Colours vary from Uzi (a shiny silver, loaded with silver micro-glitter) through to Oil Slick (a dramatic black, loaded with rainbow-coloured micro-glitter), and unlike cheaper brands the glitter doesn't go everywhere or look "tacky" if you know what I mean!
I own these 2 colours and they complement each other really well. There are colours to suit everyone, and better yet, are suitable even if you have sensitive eyes. I think that the names are great too, as this brand is totally unlike any other in that they stray away from your typical shades of pastels and "pukey" pinks, with names describing the many shades available such as Stalker, Envy (a gorgeous metallic peacock-green-blue) and Gash (a deep, metallic red).
The one and only downside to Urban Decay is that the products are a bit more...

Urban Decay- 10 Years on are they worth the money?
Review of Urban Decay Lip Gunk by
mimi_solei
Advantages: Shiny, sweet smelling, large range of colours
Disadvantages: Sticky texture, price, smell
....Kiss: vinyl red with a touch of red glitter (cherry coke)
6.Midnight Cowboy: slightly metallic, glossy beige (orange mandarin)
7.Shifty: sheer, golden bronze (mocha coconut coffee)
8.Shotgun: shiny, frosty soft mauve (sour grape)
9.SWF: transparent pink with sparkles (strawberry)
10.Wallflower: neutral pink shade (cinnamon bun)
IMPRESSION
-They were ALL really sweet smelling and tasting, and that is just wrong for me. This is make-up not cake.
-A lot of them have a very similar finish as well; Cherry, SWF and Wallflower were hardly distinguishable unless you smeared layers of the goo onto yourself.
-The packaging... seriously am not a big fan of the frosted packaging.
-Wearability- it does last pretty long, unless the yumminess makes you eat it all.
-Look- very disco.

Urban Decayed.
Review of Urban Decay Nail Graffiti by
heatherrr13
Advantages: glossy, not tested on animals
Disadvantages: chips very easily
...I have a bottle of Urban Decay nail varnish in Black. I needed some black nail varnish, and I decided to go for Urban Decay because I'd heard good things about some of their other products.
Urban Decay was launched in January 1996, rebelling against a cosmetics World filled with pink. They launched their first campaign under the slogan "does pink make you puke?" It is a popular brand, known for its alternative colours and trends.
Urban Decay are one of those brands that spend time thinking about the desig of their products and packaging. The nail varnish comes in a thick glass pot, which contains 10ml of varnish, I'm not sure exactly but it looks as if it contains about the same as other brands' nail varnishes. Like I said, the glass seems very thick and doesn't seem like it would break easily at all so that's reassuring. You can...

Glitter pretty!
Review of Urban Decay Mullet Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner by
ivytoad
Advantages: Great colour, versatile, easy to use, lasts for ages!
Disadvantages: None!
...I really like the urban decay range and I bought this glitter eyeliner on a bit of a whim to see what it was like and I have to say I am highly impressed. I bought it about 4 years ago and I still have some left! (it is a 7.5ml tube) And that is after using it regularly, so it really is good value for money.
It is really easy to use, it comes with a tiny brush on the end which means that it doesn't come out in massive gloops and allows you to either put a tiny little bit on your eyes for subtle glitter, or you can chose to put a lot on for really glittery eyes. You can use it almost as a liquid eyeshadow, not just an eyeliner. Although it is eyeliner, the small brush means it is quite versatile so you can use it to draw glitter tattoos or put glitter elsewhere on your face.
I really like the colour of this glitter as it is not too...
