Reviews of urban decay liner
Urban Decay - unrivalled for eye shadows!
Review of Urban Decay Eyeshadow by
queendebbie
Advantages: Long lasting, intense colours, beautiful packaging, everything!
Disadvantages: Expensive
..., and leave with a rainbow coloured hand after I have smeared the free samples all over it!
The other good thing about Urban Decay eye shadows is that there are other products you can get to make them even better! There is a primer potion, which you use as a base for the eye shadow to make it last even longer, a potion you can use to turn your favourite colour into a liquid liner or liquid shadow, and liquid and glitter liners to match too.
I am a complete convert to Urban Decay - I know their products are expensive, but they have always served me well. The new shadow box is one of my most anticipated Christmas presents every year. If you are into cheap eye shadow, like I was, give a shadow box a go, I can almost guarantee you will never go back (and I promise I'm not a salesman, just enthusiastic!)....

Urban Decay Zero to Hero
Review of Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils by
clairebear7
Advantages: Easy application, long lasting, quick removal
Disadvantages: All my friends want to borrow it!
...Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil Eyeliner
I first tried Urban Decay last year ( I can't believe it took me so long) and was generally impressed with the quality of the products and the range of colours available. I had been hooked on Boots Botanics eyeliner for years when suddenly, they stopped making it! I jumped from brand to brand, trying about 5 or 6 different eyeliners until I found this gem from Urban Decay.
The eyeliner comes in 12 different colours, but I opted for Zero, which is basically black. It cost £9 from Boots, and you can also buy online. The first time I bought this product, I lost it on a night out and I was genuinely upset, over an eyeliner! I went right out and bought another.
The application of the liner is generally foolproof. After you apply it to the eyes, it stays 'moveable' for 30 seconds, meaning...

Urban decay miracle!
Review of Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion by
rachieb123
Advantages: enhances colour, prevents creasing!
Disadvantages: price, for the sake of putting a disadvantage
...The Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion truly is one of my make up staple products, it does exactly what it says in the product description and enhances eye makeup to the full!
The potion retails at approx £9.50, i bought mine from boots.com therefore receiving 4 points per pound using my advantage card, so i received 40 points. It is available from an abundant amount of online retailers as well as from urban decay boutiques located within stores such as fenwicks and the larger boots stores.
The packaging is very quaint with the bottle being shaped as a potion, almost in a genie type genre. The bottle remains small enough to be carried in a handbag, although i find the primer never needs to be applied more than once so you probably wont need to carry it all the time. The applicator is similar to that of a lipgloss applicator, it isnt...

Urban Decayed.
Review of Urban Decay Nail Graffiti by
heatherrr13
Advantages: glossy, not tested on animals
Disadvantages: chips very easily
...I have a bottle of Urban Decay nail varnish in Black. I needed some black nail varnish, and I decided to go for Urban Decay because I'd heard good things about some of their other products.
Urban Decay was launched in January 1996, rebelling against a cosmetics World filled with pink. They launched their first campaign under the slogan "does pink make you puke?" It is a popular brand, known for its alternative colours and trends.
Urban Decay are one of those brands that spend time thinking about the desig of their products and packaging. The nail varnish comes in a thick glass pot, which contains 10ml of varnish, I'm not sure exactly but it looks as if it contains about the same as other brands' nail varnishes. Like I said, the glass seems very thick and doesn't seem like it would break easily at all so that's reassuring. You can...

Not Necessarily Urban, But it DOES Decay. Fast.
Review of Urban Decay Nail Enamel by
jess0910
Advantages: Nice bottle. That's about it.
Disadvantages: Expensive, chips extremely easily, very smelly.
...’Oreal or Rimmel, I would treat myself to a posh, expensive nail varnish. Enter Urban Decay.
At £8.50 for a standard size bottle, Urban Decay was definitely one of the pricier nail varnishes on the counters – not to mention the only range that had a shade that matched my dress exactly, so I didn’t really have much of a choice! But I was treating myself and, in effect, not actually paying any money for it, so I bought it.
I will not be buying it again.
The bottle is pretty cool, I must admit. It’s chunky glass and fairly heavy for a nail varnish bottle, and isn’t plastered in lots of Euro-instructions as I find most things are these days. In fact, there is no actual label on the bottle – all the writing on it (which isn’t much) actually seems to have been sprayed right on to the glass, which looks very smart and smooth. The front...

One of Urban decay's worst!
Review of Urban Decay XXX Shine by
tuttifruity
Advantages: Staying power, really glossy
Disadvantages: Shoddy packaging, a bit sticky.
...Urban Decay say:
Shine on, bright stars... XXX Shine Cooling Lip Gloss combines a zip of peppermint with lots of shine to create a super-sassy lip treat that's definitely got some spark to it-- your lips will actually tingle! With one minty slick, lips are left lustrous and cool, and breath is instantly refreshed-- a guaranteed recipe for a little canoodling.
-Go to www.urbandecay.com for more info
On to my review...I bought the Urban Decay XXX Shine gloss a while ago from ebay
as the price was good and I have always loved Urban Decay for their unique, stylish products and wide range of colours. As it was Urban Decay I presumed it would be of a fairly high quality similar to their other products. But I was really disapointed with this lipgloss :(
This lipgloss is presented in a see-thru tube, like lancome's juicy tube...

Urban Decay Hot Box review
Review of Urban Decay Hot Box Mini Makeup by
Girlyshop
Advantages: All essentials in one very small kit
Disadvantages: Kit looks like a cig lighter, not really good for teens
...Urban Decay Hot Box mini makeup set review by Girlyshop.
Hmmm, wasn't too sure about this product for a number of reasons. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Urban Decay products, however a cigarette lighter full of makeup? Urban Decay's target audience is teens to later twenties, so seeing as these are the girls that health authorities world-wide are trying to encourage NOT to smoke, giving them an item related to smoking seems a bit, well, odd. Anyway, I don't like the packaging, full stop.
Contents are another matter. A mini concealer, a mini mascara, a mini mirror, XXX Shine Gloss in shade CARNEY and Smog Eyeshadow. These kinds of products are what most makeup wearers use on a regular basis and the colours are ones that will suit just about anyone. The Concealer is fair and comes with a sponge applicator. The mascara is black...

Shimmer and sparkle with Urban Decay eyeshadows
Review of Urban Decay Eyeshadow by
Weeping_Willow
Advantages: Animal friendly, excellent quality, loads to choose from
Disadvantages: Not widely available in the UK
...After discovering more about the horrific practice of cosmetic (and indeed the other kinds) testing on animals, I have sought brands that strictly do not test their cosmetics or ingredients on animals. So far I have chosen my 3 favourite animal-friendly brands which are: The Body Shop, Barry M and Urban Decay. All 3 can be found on the BUAV (British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection) web-site as being approved by the Humane Cosmetics Standard so are totally cruelty-free. However, since this opinion is only about Urban Decay eyeshadows I will tell you more about them.
They are gorgeously packaged in silver "tins" and boxed (recycled packaging) but as soon as you see the many colours available, you want them all! They are so versatile as they can be worn dry, to give a subtle shimmer and sheen or can be used wet, to give...

Urban Decay Eyeshadows
Review of Urban Decay Eyeshadow by
shazzaspannered
Advantages: The most fantastic range of colours something for everyone
Disadvantages: Does have a tendency to crease and wear off easily
...When I go out I like my eyes to get all the attention, being my best feature they look their best when played up with a really brightly coloured eyeshadow.
I usually go for cheaper make up to be honest but have been hankering after some of the Urban Decay Eyeshadow for quite a while after I was admiring a friends eyeshadow and she told me it was Urban Decay and also after I spotted what gorgeous colours they do in their range. At approximately £10.50 for a 1.5g tablet though I had felt they were quite expensive and couldn't really justify spending that amount of cash on them.
However at Christmas I got a large amount of Boots vouchers as a present and decided I would splash out on a couple of these eyeshadows - I opted for Kiddie Pool an Ocean Blue colour with iridescent glitter and YDK a mocha colour with gold glitter. It took me...

Urban Decay Eye Shadow
Review of Urban Decay Flipside Summer Eye Shadow by
Sarahhhx
Advantages: Rich in pigments making the colour look great
Disadvantages: its quiet expensive
...I bought the Urban Decay eye shadow from Debenhams for £11.50 for 1.5g.
It took me ages to decide whether to buy the product or not as it seemed expensive for just one eyeshadow, My friend nattered me to death to buy it as its a lovley electric teal colour and would go perfectly with one of my dresses for new years.
Its one of Urban Decays best selling items, and I can see why.
Your probley woundering why you should spend so much money on just ONE eye shadow, well this kind of eyeshadow is pigment-rich,
Urban Decay load their eyeshadows with so much colour and very few binders (there the things that hold the shadow together)
So the eyeshadow looks amazing on the eyes.
Its defaintly one of my favourite eyeshadows, before buying this product I was sick to death of buying eyeshadows that didnt stand out, even the colours you...
