American Urban Chic

Advantages: new trends, great range, friendly atmosphere

What I love about this shop also is yes they have their own brand but to make it good for everyone they have smaller designer items so that you can get more exclusive clothing. I have seen clothes by See by Chloe, Sonia Rykiel, Cacharel, Vivienne Westwood, Fornarina, all really nice brands/designers and normally it isn't easy to get to their own boutiques but thanks to Urban Outfitters stocking their items I can access them. Not only do Urban Outfitters do clothing but they also do jewellery, their watches are priced well but some necklaces are a rip off and you wonder if you are paying import charges. The necklaces can sometimes be a small chain with something threaded on and they cost £25 which is ridiculous. They also do hair accessories like headbands and they do bags...

Urban Decay Eyeshadows

Advantages: The most fantastic range of colours something for everyone
Disadvantages: Does have a tendency to crease and wear off easily

I usually go for cheaper make up to be honest but have been hankering after some of the Urban Decay Eyeshadow for quite a while after I was admiring a friends eyeshadow and she told me it was Urban Decay and also after I spotted what gorgeous colours they do in their range. At approximately £10.50 for a 1.5g tablet though I had felt they were quite expensive and couldn't really justify spending that amount of cash on them. Urban Decay - unrivalled for eye shadows!

Advantages: Long lasting, intense colours, beautiful packaging, everything!

...I always used to be the girl that would buy the cheapest make-up I could find. I don't tend to wear much make-up, but I've always loved eye shadows. Shimmer and sparkle with Urban Decay eyeshadows

Advantages: Animal friendly, excellent quality, loads to choose from
Disadvantages: Not widely available in the UK

...After discovering more about the horrific practice of cosmetic (and indeed the other kinds) testing on animals, I have sought brands that strictly do not test their cosmetics or ingredients on animals. So far I have chosen my 3 favourite animal-friendly brands which are: The Body Shop, Barry M and Urban Decay. All 3 can be found on the BUAV (British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection) web-site as being approved by the Humane Cosmetics Standard so are totally cruelty-free. However, since this opinion is only about Urban Decay eyeshadows I will tell you more about them. They are gorgeously packaged in silver "tins" and boxed (recycled packaging) but as soon as you see the many colours available, you want them all!
