Best place for tropical plants
Review of Urban Jungle by
lrhhart
Advantages: quick, professional, well-packed, well-designed website
Disadvantages: may occasionally be out of stock
...live plants through the internet but those I purchased recently were very well-packed and were sent very quickly. Although I only purchased tubers and bulbs, in my experience these can dry out very quickly in the post. These ones were packed well in live sphagnum moss and were all carefully labelled so I couldn't get them mixed up. So far, they all seem to be doing well!
The plants I purchased last year are also all doing fine - thanks to the advice I gleaned from the owners and from the "cultural info" pages on their website.
I had enquired whether they stock a certain plant not listed on their site and although they didn't stock it at present, they referred me to a reputable company that did. This is a personal touch I feel you don't get from some of the larger online mail order companies and was much appreciated.
Urban Jungle seem...

A Clear Path Through the Jungle
Review of jungle.com by
Fiz_whiz
Advantages: cheap and competitive prices, fast delivery
Disadvantages: a little difficult to navigate sometimes
...I have used Jungle.com several times and have continued using its service over the years mainly because it provides cheaper priced goods and the delivery and order tracking services are excellent.
Upon browsing through the site and what it has to offer, it has definitely increased the variety of products from the last time and puts it on a par with the other well known sites like amazon.com for example.
Jungle claims to be the UKs leading online technology store and the range of products it offers makes sure it lives up to its claims.
Use Jungle to find anything from Music CD's to Computer Software and Hardware and a load of home entertainment electrical goods like DVD players, Flatscreen/Widescreen Televisions, CD players and the like. Mobile phones, Games, Cameras and accessories also feature and everything is reasonably...

King of the Jungle
Review of jungle.com by
fluffy-bubblegum
Advantages: Cheaper than the high street stores (when concerned with printers), easy to surf the Jungle.com site, excellent & very helpful customer services and reasonable and reliable delivery times.
Disadvantages: Slightly more expensive than Dabs (£1-2)
...We wanted to buy a top quality photo printer. After doing the research (ciao, dooyoo, computer magazines and friends) on what make and model to buy all we needed was a top retailer. Most directed our attention to jungle.com rather than the high street. We decided to therefore surf on-line and check them out.
The first thing you notice about jungle.com is on how professional the site looks. It’s bright green! Jungle.com’s trademark is a lion paw’s footprint. Other good bonuses are the large Which Webtrader Computer Association icon and that it’s affiliation with Great Universal Stores and Argos. We were immediately impressed. The icons along the top signified the various on-line stores – music, films, games, phones, electrical and computers. The icons on the left hand side indicated features such as: my...

****JUNGLE MADNESS****
Review of Little Tikes Jungle Gym by
star333
Advantages: Colourful,a brilliant design, very sturdy, lot's of activites, easy to move, kids love it.
Disadvantages: pricey, child can fall of the platform, openings are a bit small.
...**********JUNGLE GYM********************
Last year, we knew that it was about time to buy a playgym for our back yard, as my 4 year old daugher loves playgrounds and I couldn't keep taking her there everyday.
After looking around many shop's and pricing playgyms up we eventually settled on the Little Tikes Jungle Climber.
***LITTLE TIKES TOYS***
Little Tikes is a name I trust, they make high quality toys which last forever.Little Tikes would always be my first choice for outdoor toys. They make so many different outdoor toys it's hard to chose which one you want, they are so well maded, brightly coloured and very strong.
***DESCRIPTION***
The Little Tikes Jungle Climber is a play-gym that can be used indoors or outside, but it's best to keep it outdoors, as I thing it's way to big to keep in the house. It stands...

Urban Decayed.
Review of Urban Decay Nail Graffiti by
heatherrr13
Advantages: glossy, not tested on animals
Disadvantages: chips very easily
...I have a bottle of Urban Decay nail varnish in Black. I needed some black nail varnish, and I decided to go for Urban Decay because I'd heard good things about some of their other products.
Urban Decay was launched in January 1996, rebelling against a cosmetics World filled with pink. They launched their first campaign under the slogan "does pink make you puke?" It is a popular brand, known for its alternative colours and trends.
Urban Decay are one of those brands that spend time thinking about the desig of their products and packaging. The nail varnish comes in a thick glass pot, which contains 10ml of varnish, I'm not sure exactly but it looks as if it contains about the same as other brands' nail varnishes. Like I said, the glass seems very thick and doesn't seem like it would break easily at all so that's reassuring. You can...

I aint swinging in this Jungle again
Review of jungle.com by
moose
Advantages: Their range of products is quite comprehensive
Disadvantages: Online tracking doesn't work properly, website design is poor, reward scheme is poor
...I first came across Jungle.com when it was time to purchase some new speakers for my pc (I am really drawing the speakers bit out now – this is the third op connected to them!!!). After doing a search it seemed that Jungle were the only UK online retailer who actually stoked the TEAC ones that I wanted. It gave me confidence that Jungle are part of the Argos Retail Group – I am always full of praise for Argos – so off I went into the Jungle on my search……
First Impressions
--------------------
Very green and white – can’t miss their corporate colour - green! There does seem to be a real niggly bit to their website – I can’t quite say what it is but it almost seems like I am waiting for each page to download even when it has already loaded. Each page just looks a bit too...

My Own Little Jungle World.
Review of Little Tikes Jungle Gym by
Evie1982
Advantages: Please read my review for the advantages.
Disadvantages: Child can fall of the platform, A bit expensive, not so easy to move.
...Remember a few months ago when the weather was really nice and sunny, my children where always out in the garden playing with their toys. They only had a few outside toys to play with and they needed something which they could play with for a few hours.
So I started reading the Argos catologe to see what toys they had in there and I came across Little Tikes Jungle Gym, it looked brilliant.
*Little Tikes*
Little tikes are an American company and have been making toys since 1970.They have an impressive track record and have won many awards. All Little Tikes toy's are very well maded with children in mind, all their toys are brightly coloured and very eye-catching towards children.
*Product description*
The Little Tikes Jungle Climber can be used indoors as well as outdoors but you will need a pretty big house to keep...

King of the Jungle
Review of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat (GameCube) by
3rdRockSatan
Advantages: Great use of bongos | Bright and refreshing
Disadvantages: Very short
...Until recently things have been fairly quiet on the Donkey Kong front. Despite last year being the 20th anniversary of the NES that propelled Nintendo into people's homes their big ape that starred in one of the biggest games of the console and launched Mario into the world didn't get much of a fanfare. Now things have changed. He's now the proud star of the Donkey Konga franchise and also has a new GBA game, King of Swing, under his belt, or fur. Finally Nintendo bring along Jungle Beat and prove people wrong when they thought that their nice, shiny new bongos would just be used for the odd Donkey Konga session before gathering dust. Ever one for innovation they decided on a new use for those bongos.
Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat is the worlds first bongo-controlled platform game and, unless there's a sequel, probably the last...

Not Necessarily Urban, But it DOES Decay. Fast.
Review of Urban Decay Nail Enamel by
jess0910
Advantages: Nice bottle. That's about it.
Disadvantages: Expensive, chips extremely easily, very smelly.
...’Oreal or Rimmel, I would treat myself to a posh, expensive nail varnish. Enter Urban Decay.
At £8.50 for a standard size bottle, Urban Decay was definitely one of the pricier nail varnishes on the counters – not to mention the only range that had a shade that matched my dress exactly, so I didn’t really have much of a choice! But I was treating myself and, in effect, not actually paying any money for it, so I bought it.
I will not be buying it again.
The bottle is pretty cool, I must admit. It’s chunky glass and fairly heavy for a nail varnish bottle, and isn’t plastered in lots of Euro-instructions as I find most things are these days. In fact, there is no actual label on the bottle – all the writing on it (which isn’t much) actually seems to have been sprayed right on to the glass, which looks very smart and smooth. The front...

JUNGLE BOOK POO
Review of The Jungle Book 2 DVD by
Marandina
Advantages: Just like the original with new characters
Disadvantages: Aimless sequel
...Easter holidays come with the added pressure of keeping your children occupied. One obvious ploy is to take ‘em to the flicks so it was with a spring in my step and a song I my heart that I hurled the kids into the car and, nay, flew to my local UCG to catch Jungle Book 2. I did have the concern that I really don’t like sequels though. Inevitably, they are re-hashed workings of the original with pretty much the same story made solely to generate more greenbacks for the film studio concerned. But surely Disney wouldn’t disappoint? Read on to find out.

Phil Collins .... Lucky the Vulture
Jim Cummings .... Kaa/Colonel Hathi
