...Firstly this USB drive is quite small, it looks good and as soon as you plug it in a big orange light starts up, it doesn’t have a cap (so you won't lose the cap!) and comes with a neck strap. The USB data transfer is quite fast, there is not much lag and the computer immediately picks up that the USB stick is plugged in. However as soon as you plug in the stick then it starts to install the U3 software on the PC, this could annoy some people but the software is very useful. You can download many free portable ap’s and can synchronise the USB with the PC using this, its a useful feature and also includes some security features, preventing nosey people looking through your files. ...I bought this pen drive when I came across a website that I found on google by accident. They were selling it in their sale for £14.99. So I though that I would give it a try. It cam in the post, and I opened the bag that it came in, and I was shocked by the size of the pen. It was the smallest pen that I had ever seen. I was worried at first because it is so small that it would be easy to lose it, and I thought that I would very quickly. Although there is a hole at the end where you can put a clip through so you can attach it to something, i.e. around you neck, on a key ring, etc. It has a lid to keep the USB connection clean and so that it can not be broken. ...This portbale USB drive has got to be one of the most realiable ones i have used so far. I dont think it costs too much and unless you're really into media and music, you may find that filling up 2GB of memory may not be easy with just word files. I'de happily recoomend this product to anyone as it is absolutelly suberb. It hasnt let me down yet. However if you're working with media such as music, videos, webpages, high quality images etc. then i suggest you a get a hold of a larger USB pen. I know from experience that all media workers will appreciate a few extra gigabytes of memory. You must remember however that the USB isnt bullet prrof so dont keep it in your back pocket and go ride on a rollercoaster. You may regret doing that.. ...I gave my 2GB Kingston flash drive a few months ago and I think it's really great. I can use it for Microsoft Windows Vista ReadyBoost to speed up my PC. It's not too expensive and it has got a life-time warranty. It's really fast and every operating system contents a driver to use it. If you want to buy a somewhat cheap flash drive, and need a good quality buy that. Most of new PCs can boot from USB nowadays. Thanks to the USB 2.0 technology I can boot up my favourite live Linux distribution from it and I can save it back when I finished the work. You can use it for system rescue too but if you don't need these special "features" just use it to store and move data. :)... Read review

Advantages: Portable, easy to use, never failed on me yet!
Disadvantages: Perhaps only the disc size, but it has taken me 2 years to fill it!

...Wester Digital, a respected brand name, and i agree! I have owned the unit now for around 2 years, and have 0 problems. My internal hard drive has died on me twice but my external one, never! This 80gb HDD is perfect for storing large files, home movies, photo albums, music etc. It's ideal when transfering data from one place to another, simply unplug it, plug it in elsehwre and hey presto! It supports drag & drop so moving files couldn't be easier. Standard power adpater with 3-pin plug, and USB 2.0 connection to your pc, mac, server etc. It is easily recognised by each operating system and i have yet to find one that doesn't support the unit. Plug it in, wait around 30secs and it's up and running. Can be stored horizontally, and if you have 3 like me, you can stack them perfectly, or store them vertically... Read review
