...This is a great piece of kit. I bought it so I could transfer files between my phone and computer, but it can be used with any bluetooth device such as a PDA or laptop. The manual simply explains how to install the dongle and I installed it without any trouble in minutes. The dongle is USB 1.1 compatable and is truely plug and play. You can disable the bluetooth connection in the dongle settings so you don't have to keep disconnecting the adapter from your PC if your worried about someone trying to connect to your computer. Start using the product, just give your PC a name in the Bluetooth software and any bluetooth device will be able to detect it straight away. The easiest way to transfer files in my opinion is to right-click on a file and select "Send To > Bluetooth Device" You can even highlight multiple files and send them... Read review

...to go. The software is supplied on a cd and installed without a hitch. When prompted to do so I connected the adapter stand to the USB port and plugged the adapter into this. Windows detected the adapter and the headaches began. Firstly, the stand is not heavy enough to hold the adapter upright, I have now stuck mine to the desk with blu-tac. Secondly, the software was indicating that no network could be found. In order for the adapter to detect the router and the network I had to plug the router back into the extension cable. This defeated the whole point of buying the adapter in the first place. Once this was done I followed the instructions for my router to switch over to a wireless connection, but that software could not find an internet connection. Like many of you, I really enjoy spending time on the World Wide Web. One of my main problems is that I don't have a landline. 'How do you connect, then?' well I use my mobile phone as a modem.
