SuperG Wireless USB Adaptor
Review of Siemens Gigaset USB Adaptor 108 by
robosapien
Advantages: Small, easy to use and relatively stable
Disadvantages: Poor support and old drivers
...I purchased the Siemens Gigaset USB Adaptor 108 from Play.com for £7.99 including P&P. An absolute bargain when you consider what lesser devices retail for.
This USB adaptor supports the 108Mbps SuperG wireless standard, and is backwards compatible with a, b and regular G networks too. It supports WEP, WPA and WPA2.
The unit is very small, about the size of a box of matches. It has, what appears to be, a shielded cable about a metre long with a standard USB plug on the end. There is a little aerial which folds down, though this doesn't really make it any more convenient to carry round. There are two green LEDs to tell you the power is connected and to show wireless network activity. The unit is light, but feels like it's well made.
I had read on a few websites not to use the installation CD as the drivers on it are old...

Linksys Wireless USB Adaptor's
Review of Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with SpeedBooster WUSB54GS by
daveylee20
Advantages: Perfection in every way. Shame it dosnt make you a cuppa tea also :-)
Disadvantages: The price would be seen as a little steep. But well worth it.
...Where can I start with this fantastic product. Firstly not only is this well worth the money, its durable also.
Ease of Installation
Well, this is not hard to get wrong, from opening the product its clearly marked on the adaptor to run the cd first. Then it prompts you to plug the adaptor into your USB port.
Now, you can ether use the software designed for the adaptor or let windows manage your wireless connection. I'm not sure about windows 2000 but for xp, it saves the login to access the network & auto connects you when you turn your pc on. Very handy if you have kids who use the net allot.
Compatibility
To be honest, I have not had any problems with the product what so ever.
Version/Model
This is a WUSB54G-S
This has the speed booster. This is handy if your pc is located on the other side of your home...

Belkin wireless G USB Network Adaptor
Review of Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter Network adapter by
Chosen
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Not enough information on software or packaging.
...I recently bought a Belkin wireless adaptor when I went into a house share and needed to have the internet. I use the internet but I know little about the technical side of things. I paid £19.99 for the adaptor in PC world who only had Belkin at the time which I thought was not expensive. However installing it was a nightmare.
The 3 easy steps on the box seemed so easy; Install the software, plug the adaptor into a USB PORT - start networking! If only it was that simple. Every time my computer searched for a network it crashed. I phoned the Belkin company who took me step by step through the technical part and still we could not get internet. Eventually the Belkin assistant told my for some reason my computer was not recognising the new network. Being increasingly frustrated I considered taking the adaptor back for a refund...

Belkin Wireless USB adaptor
Review of Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter Network adapter by
craggybuk
Advantages: Simple to set up and use
Disadvantages: Software is not the greatest
...I bought this USB network adaptor for my son when he still had his Windows 98 machine as the PCI card that I reviewed previously was too advanced for his hardware. This USB adapter was bought to connect to my Belkin wireless router meaning that I now had a wireless network consisting only of Belkin hardware.
--Whats in the box--
On opening the box, there were no real surprises. There was the USB adapter, a stand which would allow you to place the adapter on your desk if you didnt want to have it plugged directly into the back of your PC, the antenna, a quick installation guide and a CD which contained the drivers and a full manual.
--Installation--
On reading the quick installation guide, it was apparent that the software had to be installed before the adapter was plugged in. The reason for this was because, when the hardware...

Bluetooth... Or long in the tooth?
Review of TDK go blue Bluetooth USB Adaptor by
rickyshah
Advantages: It does what what is says on the tin
Disadvantages: lickle cable
...Right, now this is a review on the TDK go blue Bluetooth adaptor for your PC.
What’s it do, then?
------------------------------
Well, in a nutshell, it enables your PC to access Bluetooth devices.
Right, but my teeth are yellow. What is Bluetooth?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bluetooth is a form of wireless communication. It enables devices (like mobiles and PC's) to "talk" to each other without the need for wires. "Why would you want to do this!" I hear you cry. Well, there are many applications. Imagine a Bluetooth printer - you could connect it to any computer on the fly - or a Bluetooth keyboard - so you can sit on the sofa and type. The reason why I purchased this was that I have a range of Bluetooth enabled mobile phones, and I wanted an easy way to transfer stuff to and from...

What To Do With All Those USB Plugs
Review of Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Hub - hub - 4 ports by
jamiem
Advantages: Easiest Possible Installation
Disadvantages: Uses Yet Another Mains Socket
...is the socket in to which you plug the power adaptor, and the USB cable that goes to the computer. The cable to connect it to the computer is included in the box and is about 1.8m long.
----=Anything Else?=----
Not really, it’s an easy to use/install device, which makes connecting more devices via USB possible. It costs about £30, and is readily available from most PC retailers....

Belkin USB hub
Review of Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub - hub - 7 ports by
curious_george
Advantages: Plenty of ports, stackable, simple display
Disadvantages: Yet another power lead, relativley short cable.
...Im not an expert on USB hubs, so il just try to give a a good review based on my experiences of the product. I hope its helpful.
Well, what can i say appart from "its a usb hub"!. It sits under my monitor and does everything i want it to to.
The hub is plug and play, so no installation needed. It does need its own power outlet, and the adaptor is fairly large. It has a pleasant appearance, and the display consists of a red LED indicating power, and a green LED for each device connected.
There are 5 USB 2.0 sockets on the back and 2 on the top. I've found that the rear sockets are best for permanent connections (keyboards, mice etc) and the top 2 are useful for small devices such as Digital cameras and especially USB flash drives.
When a lot of devices are connected the hub does tend to move around (through tension from...
